I came here with my fiance because it was recommended by his insurance to fix a major scratch in the hood of his truck. All I can say is what great service. Before they even took his money they offered to see if they could buff it out first. They did that for free and all that was left was a tiny tiny scratch. That is a mark of a great business. They are here to help people, not just rob them of time and money like other auto places. There are several around San Antonio & I know the one off Culebra is the same way. Took my Nissan 370Z to this location for the sole reason that they'd look to service my vehicle faster than other collision centers. Didn't know much about it but dropped my vehicle off, got my rental and then a week later I picked it up. Unbeknownst to them my car has a tracking system plugged into the OBD port, provided by USAA as a pilot to monitor driving habits for younger members. The day after I dropped it off someone there drove my vehicle 107 mph from the shop down 410 to Culebra!!! It showed the exact route, time the car was turned on, how long they drove it, the time they idled and all. Called the shop and spoke to the supervisor who in the end said he spoke to the mechanic who denied he did such thing, entirely expected. Was told they needed to drive the car to ensure the suspension wasn't damaged, I guess 107mph confirms it's okay. I wasn't looking for anything but accountability from the shop, I doubt anything happened to rectify the huge liability the shop has letting some workers drive vehicles in that manner. I have all the documents to prove this occurred while the car was in their custody should anyone want it, cheers! read more

I cannot say enough nice things about my experience at Caliber Collision. Pat Cassaday took the estimate and assembled the parts, gave me a call and I took the care in. Michele Gonzales was great checking me in and acting as kind of a concierge all the way through the deal. They lined up a rental car. Pat gave me a call everyday with a progress report. The absolute best progress report was that the car was finished more than a week early, and that saved a lot of coin I was having to put out for a rental (my own, not the insurance company's cash). When I picked it up, they took care of me and I just left the rental with them. Along the way, if there was any problem or hiccup it was handled quickly and professionally. Thanks to everyone there for a job well done. And, yes, the car looks great. read more

Got involved in a accident that was not my fault. Unfortunately I've been to multiple different body shops throughout the years. They're usually hit or miss, this caliber collision location is phenomenal. They kept me informed throughout the repair and they had it planned to be there 3 weeks and they finished it in a week and a half! Can't say much better things. read more

I was sent here through my insurance company to take care of some damage to the outer part of my vehicle. The repair was speedy and the front desk associates were as friendly as helpful as can be, however the reason for the disappointment arises because of the additional damage that was done to my vehicle after it was returned to me. I had a functioning AC but after repairs were made to the front bumper of my vehicle, I suddenly had nothing but hot air coming out (keep in mind this is Texas so the heat can get pretty bad). I asked if something had been connected improperly of if it was a minor mistake that could be fixed but all I was told was that I needed to submit another claim through my insurance. I unfortunately do not have the funds to keep paying deductibles especially when the company who I would be taking it to were the ones at fault for turning in a non-working air conditioner to me. Again, this is Texas so I had a mechanic take a look at it for me in the meantime while I tried to get this situated. It was explained to me that some connections were carelessly put back together (wire connections were loose and simply "tangled" back together to put them back inside). I explained this to the associate who was handling the face-to-face interactions with myself (Robert) and he insisted that they did not touch that area and I would have to file ANOTHER claim through USAA. What is irritating is that I had a working air conditioner before the repairs were made to the exterior and when I receive my vehicle, the AC is no longer working. It simply does not add up. Regardless, this was a terrible experience for myself and I do not know about the other Caliber locations but this location messed up and refused to own up to their mistakes. read more

Worst service I've ever experienced. Took 2 months to get the parts in after they lost paperwork and forgot to order them. Then the day of the appointment we find out they ordered most of them wrong/not everything that was needed. They even had pictures of the parts in question and never thought to compare them. They showed complete incompetence in the entire process from start to finish. Then when I refused to pay for the repairs not yet performed they acted like I was being ridiculous. I have no fair that the car will be finished within the week like promised. read more

Bad customer service. My appraisal went up on 2 different occasions after the initial appraisal. I understand there could be a addt'l damage found but that was not the case. Two charges simply increased in price by coincidence. Anyways, i will never use them again. I used USAA by the way and that's another story. read more

I was originally sent here from a different caliber because they were booked for awhile. So thank goodness that happened! Damian was awesome. Always called to give me timely updates, even helped me clean out my car after it was totaled. The lady at the front desk was also very nice. First of all no one likes having to deal with a fender bender but Caliber Collision turned a horrible experience into a more than tolerable one. Great customer service all around. I knew it wasn't my fault but still felt terrible that it happened. They immediately made me feel at home and the constant communication, which is one of my pet peeves, was tremendous. Although my understanding is that other Caliber Collision locations and Caliber Collision has a good reputation and quality service, the location on Stemmons gave me a very bad experience. They LOST THE KEYS TO MY CAR, told me my car would be repaired in five days and it took over 3 weeks, I had to call constantly to get an update (The squeaky wheel gets the grease, in theory at least), and the gentleman handling my car I caught in a lie a few times. At one point they said they could not get my new car keys calibrated at the dealership right next door, because OTHER CARS WERE IN THE WAY. However, my understanding of cars is that they are the most mobile things around. That is why I bought mine Then they said they towed my car over there when they in reality pushed it over there in the street to the car. . In any event, they did do good repair work on my car, which is why I took it there, and why they earned the second star. read more
