I dropped off my car with Caliber in Missouri City in Texas ( I don't know why Yelp would list me as living in San Francisco. I live in Sugar Land right next to Missouri City. State Farm assigned my car damaged by their insured to Caliber on 12/26/2025. Xavier sent me update daily giving me the impression that the car was under repairs and would be ready on1/2/2026. Then on that day changed to 1/9/2026, saying pending insurance approval. I replied and never got a response. Today he called me because I left a message with his assistant. He didn't apologize for lying to me all those days. He said soon after I dropped off the car that State Farm was going to consider my car total loss so he didn't work on it. Lying is the worst behavior no matter what business you are in. Caliber is blacklisted forever! added after Caliber response: You cannot just apologize for lying. Common decency would tell any worker in any business not to tell customer what is not true. Training is not even needed because this is common sense. If someone does not know how to tell the fact they should be fired on the spot. Xavier should have simply told me work will not begin until State Farm approves it. No need to lie! read more

Geico uses them as one their preferred vendors. OK. I've had good experience with Caliber in the past. I warned them I was really picky and that "there was always time to do it right, the second time." I guess they listened because it was 90% right when I picked it up. Wayne Terry, General Manager, was a pleasure to work with. I had some issues with Email's so I resorted to telephone and that worked. For the email issue, they lost a star. in april of this year we had an accident in one of our vehicles. it was involved in a 9 car collision. there was damage on the front and back of the car. when the insurance company gave the options of body repair shops to take the car i noticed caliber collision. there was one location close to us on highway 90 in richmond. i had a previous experience with their rosenberg location on 2218 and reading road which was excellent customer service and outstanding body work. i have also recommended them to my sister in katy who has used that location twice and again with excellent customer service and work that she was more than satisfied with. based on those previous experiences i was confident in selecting this company and the location was minutes from work which made it even better. at the time we dealt with a manager named brian. when we dropped off the car, they held it for 3 weeks before any work was done to it. we learned later this location was not familiar with repairing honda vehicles. we had a rental vehicle for 30 days, standard and became concerned that the repairs would not be completed in time. we were assured that it would be. at the agreed upon time the work was not complete. we were given reasons that additional work was needed that was not originally discovered, windshield replaced, front bumber and additional costs to paint the entire car that were added daily to the tune of thousands billed to the insurance company that was not originally disclosed. after much delay, and i do mean much delay, we received the car back. at first glance the car looked ok, but after driving we realized the list of imperfections grew daily. first we noticed the front bumber moves up and down. looking closer, we noticed the clips holding the bumber in place are much smaller than the original. next we noticed the gas tank no longer locks when locking the car. next we noticed only 1 fog light works. each of the previous items noted included trips back to the shop to the tune of days and weeks to rectify each situation. with the fog light we were told, there is no record that it worked when we brought the car in. what??? the car was in a front and back collision. your job is to repair it as close as possible to the original condition. the light was never addressed any further. the last and final straw was the paint job and buffing. when the car is washed you can see all of the buffing machine imprints in the door panel and around the entire car. we are now in november of 2025 and we are still extremely unhappy customers. we have gotten the run around from april till now. manager brian has transferred to the missouri city location and handed us off to service manager noe. i have spoken several times with noe, who gave us the story that they do not have a buffer next they were trying to borrow the correct buffer from another location. each time i talk with noe the story drags on and more is added. "give me till tomorrow, we are going to pick up the car from where you work, make it right and bring it back to you." tomorrow has not come yet. the last time i spoke with brian was wednesday, october 15, 2025. i explained to him, the worse thing in this entire experience was the lack of communication that we received from them. cars can be repaired and replaced but the customer service and experience is what is most important. he assured me that he would talk with noe and we would hear from them by the end of the week with a plan of resolution. one of the great takeaways from this entire ordeal is that location matters greatly. my family has had great experiences with other locations within the caliber group. however, this lengthy experience without a resolution has left a very bad taste in our mouths. we are now in the seventh month to complete a simple repair on a honda accord and it has not been completed yet. this week wednesday will be 3 weeks since i last called manager brian. i will continue to update the post and share the final resolution if that ever happens. based on this i would leave "0" stars if it were possible. richmond hwy 90 location. read more

The business replies to poor reviews are automated. Understandable, but messages to the email address they list go unanswered. So nothing was done to "make it right" with the runaround and uncommunicative experience at the FM 1093 location. On another note we had a fantastic experience w/the US 90A location. 5 stars!! I had gotten into an accident with a Rooms To Go truck which left my car in pretty bad condition. They scraped my driver's side door so badly you could see the metal underneath. I've gone with Caliber Collisions in the past when I needed car stuff done so I decided to go with them again. I have USAA insurance so everything was mainly handled through them. I took my car to a car dealership for an estimate on how much it would cost for repairs and took that to Caliber Collisions for the repairs. I called Caliber at the last minute needing to make an appointment. They were so courteous and said they had an opening for the same day to begin repairs to my Toyota. I informed them I had made an appointment with an Enterprise in the area and they suggested I move my reservation to the Enterprise location on-site. That helped a lot! I brought my car in and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was so polite and the customer service was spectacular. They gave me an estimate of when my car would be fixed, got me into my rental and I was done! They called and texted with updates to my repairs and I had my car back the very day they promised. They found more damage once they began repairs so they sent all additional documentation to my insurance and I didn't have to worry about anything. My car is now good and new and I'm so happy I decided to get my repairs done at another Caliber Collisions location. My car was suppose to be ready last Friday from repair, the car had what appeared to be damaged paint they said it would take 10 minutes to fix,25 mins later they said another 1.5 hours which I could not do. Told come Monday after work, get here, store closed. Mind you while waiting on Friday I heard an Employee call a customer and tell them to come in on Saturday, even though they were closed she would meet them there. I ask can i get my car on Saturday, I'm told we are closed on Saturday. Today, I leave work early again to get my car, it's filthy inside, oil stains on my leather seats and a tool left on my back seat. Now I'm waiting again for work that should have been done and a car that is far from the clean state they received it in. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. They will claim they have fixed your car, but they just tinker on it, give it a band-aid and send you on your way after collecting your deductible. This shop thinks that "show ready" & "customer approved" is having the grill misaligned and part of the headlight and blaiming it on the insurance, that they could only get aftermarket, yet if the problem persisted they could request a "supplement". Why not request it while my car was there, in the shop? Fast forward, my electrical dash is showing the same lights, that were triggered on with my collision during the ice storm. The manager Alexis, insinuated with her verbiage that I actually triggered the lights to come on, since it was a month later. SCREW YOU ALEXIS. I will never utilize this business again or it's counterparts, & hope others will follow suit because this company is a joke. They can barely fix a 2020 Civic, what can they do for your vehicle?? I will be taking my car into the dealership, to get diagnosed here on out, where I should have taken it, instead of using Geico's route. I'm sure the dealership will be able to see the negligence of Caliber Collision, and if proven I will seek remedies through the legal system. read more

Over priced, Horrible people. Do not use your GIECO claim here! They robbed gieco on a car they didn't even come close to fixin. Out of pocket prices are outrageous! Replaced my nitro grappler tire, with a provider tire. Scratches still carved in the taillight. Under the car body is sloppy work at best.The mechanic they use, Has the car driving worse than when I took it in. Was told by one of Alex's right hand mans he'd be there to drive it with me, when it was done. ANOTHER LIE, of many. Val threw the keys at me Friday and said "have a good one". Haha classless. It's all good. Reporting them to triple BBB as well as posting these pictures online. TRY ANOTHER LOCATION GUYS! UNTIL WE CAN FIND SOMEONE HONEST IN THER AREA. Armando and his team did an excellent job with my vehicle. They provided constant updates, a clear and fair quote, and worked with my insurance. I got rear ended a week and a half before I needed to drive up to college and they assessed the damage got my car into the shop 20 mins after I called. This was a much better experience than the other shops who wouldn't even take my car for two weeks. They worked well under pressure and the extremely tight deadline. I was driving to work when I heard a strange sound and given that my car is relatively new, I was afraid that an animal was stuck in the hood. I exited the highway and found the nearest parking spot that happened to be this business. I opened the trunk, looked inside, and decided to get a flashlight- just to be sure. A very nice, Hispanic gentleman came out and asked if I needed help closing the hood. I explained what was happening and he actually further inspected my vehicle and explained that everything should be fine as the protector was intact under the motor. It didn't hit me until driving out that they are a company that works with vehicles and really appreciated the treatment that was given knowing I wasn't after their business. Hopefully I won't need repairs anytime soon but I wanted to give them a shoutout and would recommend to anyone looking. read more

After they removed the bumper, they claimed there was previous damage from a past accident and refused to repair my vehicle. I complained to my insurance company since this is NOT FAIR! This staff is friendly, however the level of service is very poor. They were severely delayed in giving us the car (by days!) and then when we finally came to pick it up, the car was still "being washed", despite the staff telling us it was ready for pick up on the phone. STAY AWAY! Especially if you are a GEICO customer. FYI GEICO makes Caliber drop everything and slap your car together since they're an ARX shop. They gave back my car in a week or so and it looked like crap. Uneven panel gaps, missing bolts, broken clips, dangling hoses, cracked 2800 dollar LKQ headlamp, missing fog light, you name it. Poor quality work and nobody checks anything. They sublet my PPF out and it looked like my toddler did it. Caliber pretty much ignored me until I left them an honest review on a link they texted me. After that, it took them four tries and two months to get it right, and when they gave my car back they STILL did not balance my wheel or refill the washer fluid that they drained during tear down. Andrew pretty much never returned my calls like he said he would, so I was left bothering these people for months. This place is barely a step above Maaco. This is the second car I have had fixed here and last time was not great either. If you have a beater then maybe let them fix it, but if it's a nice car or your insurance is paying please save yourself a nightmare. read more

In October of 2017, I had my Scion tC towed here after hours, following an accident on 610. The next day, I called them and asked if I could leave the car there while things get sorted out with State Farm (whose fault, whether they would pay). They were happy to oblige while they prepared an estimate. In the end, State Farm ended up declaring the accident a total loss, but I really appreciated Caliber's customer service throughout the entire process. I was able to get all the stuff out my car with no hassle (including the license plates, which they helped with). Since this is a State Farm approved collision center, SF customers should have no issues bringing their vehicle here. I would gladly do business with this company again if a future accident occurs! read more

I had an outstanding experience with this Caliber location. I got hit in the rear while stopped at an intersection and the damage wasn't huge but it did require some body work and paint. The workmanship was flawless, the employees were all very nice and helpful. The work was done when they quoted and they took care of returning my Enterprise rental, all without a hitch. On top of that, about 2 weeks later I got a flat about 2 blocks from their shop so I pulled in to see if they could help out. They were not able to save the tire by they put the spare on and didn't charge a penny! That's what I call good customer service. I would not hesitate to go back there or recommend them to my friends. read more

Horrible experience. A job that was supposed to take 2 weeks ended up taking 2 months. Every time we called to come get it they pushed it back a few more days with dumb excuses. When we finally got it back, it was making a horrible sound and they determined it was a wheel hub, which they took another week to fix, only to find out they fixed the WRONG WHEEL HUB! I had to take it back again for them to fix the correct side. Car began making another odd noise after we got it back that continued to get worse and we took it to our regular mechanic- afraid to let caliber touch our vehicle again. Cost us another $800 and the mechanic is convinced it's because of an error caliber made during the original repair. Caliber refuses to resolve the issue. Will NEVER go there again. read more

Terrible place to do business with Went there with a geico claim, someone hit the right side of my car and the front bumper was unhinged and needed to be repainted and reattached or the entire bumper need to be replaced. 2 days after picking my 2016 mustang up from them the bumper broke and started hanging, when I looked at it I noticed that they didn't even fix the bumper or even try! THEY GLUED the bumper back on. On my drive home the bumper kept falling off mmore because it was Slightly hanging. "Luckily" I have a life time warranty with their work I called them 3x asking about it and they said the manager is the only one who handles that and she will call me back later. Fast forward a MONTH of calling and waiting I drive there and demand to see her. She apologizes for how STUPID her head mechanic was for GLUEING a bumper on my car and that he was fired a few days ago... blah blah blah and she was embarrassed and would take care of me (Which is bs) Agreed to fix it but "won't be able to fix any of the other damages because there's so road rash on the bottom of my bumper and I could have caused that myself prior" How stupid does that sound??? "Hey I know your bumper fell and is hanging because we glued it on but I can't guarantee that's not because of you" She said she had to get her district manager to approve warranty's Took some pictures and never heard from her again. I called 4-6x more asking for an update and she would never return my call. I took my vehicle to this place after a minor collision and their Customer Service, follow up is the worst!!! They didn't replace a plastic bumper in my vehicle after the accident and tries to cover it with black marker. After I received my car I notice a part was missing and I reported it. As of today, my car is still missing a part. Customer Service representatives do not follow up on customers and customers have to continue to call and verify that the work gets done. This location had the insurance adjuster and car rental agency in house and was an unbelievably easy drop off and pick up for the repair. Rueben was the man who handled out repair and it was done quickly, and effectively with up to the minute updates by text on the progress of the repair.
