It is tricky to get there because there's one way streets and traffic can be hectic and the roads narrow. After we got there, I was blown away at the itty bitty parking lot they had and not to mention, the lot arrangement was unusual, so I was super nervous about parking here. After a few cars left, I quickly parked across the street. They failed to mention that they need a full tank of gas. What? Why on earth? You're gonna drive to Canada in that thing?? We just got here and you're telling me this NOW? A frustration on top of a frustration. Oh, and they don't give rides back either so good luck getting home. They took pictures and got all the info from us. The garage was blasting out vietnamese music too. Too funny. A star for being professional. Tyler did my estimate and he was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I was worried about my passenger window until I got repairs and he made me feel right at ease. I got into a car accident where I was t-boned, but Caliber Collision was very helpful and great throughout the process! I called for an appointment and brought in my car in mid-July and Emily was very great at explaining the process and what to expect. She and the rest of the staff were very great at answering any questions I had, kept me updated on the repairs, and made sure that I can contact them anytime for any questions. The original pickup date was set for mid-August, but fortunately, they were done two weeks early! I brought my car in for evaluation after getting into a fender bender. The staff here were polite and knowledgeable, and took care of me well. I was even able to arrange for my rental to be picked up from here, and when I was told my car was totaled, the staff made sure I was able to get all my personal belongings back from my wrecked car. Someone from the service department even helped me grab my garage door opener when I forgot to collect it when I was clearing out my car. It's incredibly rare for me to post a negative experience as we see enough of those but I felt this warrants it. I needed an estimate. Called and got a call center and was told that they were 2 weeks out. Someone told me this place was solid so I took a chance although it's a huge company vs a local one which I try to use. Got a call from them locally a few days before appt only to discover, 1. They over booked and need to reschedule me for a later date, 2. They had me down for the wrong day vs what the call center told me, 3. They thought they were actually doing the work, vs just giving an estimate. They tried to find another LATER day for me but I decided that this first impression was enough for me to walk away. I'll be choosing a reputable local shop. As a business owner myself, I realize the importance of making the customer feel heard and important. This was far from that. Involved in an side-impact accident as I failed to make a U-turn on December 1st, 2019. Had severe damages on the left rear door that needed a replacement for my Honda CRV. My dad brought the car down here at Caliber since we've been to the place before. It went into the repair station nearly a week. How it amazed us when they notified the CRV is ready, the vehicle is in prefect shape just like a brand new Honda. Excellent job I've ever witnessed. "Pays attention to detail". I had the best experience at this auto body shop. For starters I was blessed with the guy named Travis ! He was friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I am very particular with my 2018 VW beetle and keep her in immaculate condition. So as we discussed the damaged that occurred, Travis explained each step of the process. Not only his help, anytime I called in to ask any random question both Emily and Irene (who runs the show) were helpful, kind and always informed me of what was going on. I am super happy with the work the guys in the shop did and even went beyond and helped me out with another exterior accessories I wanted to add. Someone hit my parked car and caliber collision is a preferred company through USAA. My car was towed to caliber collision for them to complete their estimate USAA deemed my vehicle to be a total loss. USAA advised me that I needed to go to caliber collision and sign paperwork releasing the vehicle to a salvage yard and to gather my personal belongings and also specifically and for me to take my license plates. When I got to caliber collision I informed them of what I was advise through USAA The employee told me that I had absolutely nothing that needed to be signed and that they could not give me my license plates because they were not personalized license plates. Two days later I purchased a new vehicle and even the previous seller removed his plates off of the vehicle, I went to the Washington State Department of motor vehicles to transfer over the title and was advise that I could have used my previously car is license plates at caliber collision given them to me on my new vehicle which would prevent me from having to pay additional fees for a brand new license plates. I told them that caliber collision told me that they could only give me my plates if they were personalized and was advised by the Washington State Department of licensing employee that that is actually false information. Obviously I had no choice but to pay the fee because I did not have my old license plates and I had to transfer the title since I'm driving around in a car with no license plates so my options were taken from me. I called caliber collision and got no sympathy got no apology just got what they've been told "they can't do" when I'm explaining to her what an ACTUAL Washington state employee said whom would be WAY more versed than Caliber Collision. Luckily after one week they still have my vehicle and it's not at a salvage yard so I am able to go pick up the plates however I've already been charged and have had to pay money for no actual reason. Poor Business, won't use them again and USAA has been advised of this situation as well. read more
