There is a lot to say. But I highly suggest find else where to go. I will say they are professional but I feel like them having such a high turnover over rate for all positions including their managers and overworked technicians makes this very difficult to do the work correctly and to completion. BOTH of my cars still have things that they were supposed to fix and still messed up and they went back to the shop each, twice. This was something that started in the middle of December and I have chosen not to take my cars back to them cause who knows what else is going to end up missing or wrong still. My cars sat for MONTHS and when I would call they were blaming my insurance and only until I filed a formal complaint did my Insurance then open an investigation and the proper people were made aware of the situation. They only made it right and then admitted to their mistake once it wasn't something that could be dusted under the rug. But even after that, they still didn't dot the i's or cross all the t's. Months goes by and I was suppose to be contacted about a piece of my interior they lost that had to be ordered. It was someone in their warehouse and had been there since I asked about it. Something needs to happen with their turnovers or notes or whatever but they won't care if it is actually working as long as they can get it out of the shop even if things are worse. So many things went wrong, even when given the opportunity to make it right it was not fully fix. I'm disappointed and will never trust any of the caliber collision's again. read more

When I picked up my vehicle they had missed a spot that should have been buffed out. Next, I found a sheetmetal screw in my tire. This concerned me most of all. For the first issue the shop staff took care of things right away. For the second, I was told I'd have to leave my car for an hour. I declined to leave the vehicle. My biggest complain is that a $100 tire had a sheetmetal screw in it. read more

Sometimes a short telephone call tells you a lot of the character of a person. That was the case with my interaction with this location. Avoid at all cost. There is no way that you will receive a good experience here when you receive such rude treatment for making a simple inquiry. I came into the establishment today 12/26/23 at 12:30 pm CST because I had my car repaired at this location and ever since my car alarm randomly goes off (even at 3 am). This problem started one week after my repairs were finished and never happened prior to the repairs at Caliber. I did not take my car back for a remedy immediately because I was told I have a lifetime warranty and I did not want to wait three months to get my car back like I originally experienced at the time of the initial repair. There was a strange, little, rude man at the front desk who spoke quickly and with a heavy accent who was no help. There was also an older woman who refused to give me her name and told me she couldn't help me and suggested I take my car elsewhere. I later found out her name was Christy. I don't feel it's fair that my car is damaged and has issues after taking my car to this location for repairs, and other people pass off my problem as if they are unable to assist. There was a young man who did assist (unfortunately I did not get his name) who said he'd look into this. It seems like I might not get help unless I complain. I had a terrible experience the first time that later turned out to be a good experience but only after the regional manager stepped in. It's unfortunate that I received such a brush-off from Christy who gave great service to the customer after me. She's obviously capable of assistance but just chooses who she will properly do her job for. I'd like assistance with repairing my car alarm and will not be happy until the repairs are properly completed. read more

This review is only about quote. Not actual body work which I have heard is good. I stopped by for a quick quote and Miquel quoted me $2,000 to fix my fender. What was bizarre is everything was fine with the parts, but he said the bumper would have to come off and fender replaced. This fender was just pushed up off bracket by spare tire when car fell off jack and on top of fender. Maybe he thought it requires more work? The TX Prestige Auto collision center guys (Tony/Steve) at 10855 Jupiter Garland repaired the same fender the next day. It took them 30 seconds to quote $150 and then only charged $120. Telluride looks new again. When I told Miguel he was crazy regarding price, in his defense he said "we are a chain and you might find a mom & pop body shop for a more competitive price." It's very sad the variance of what some of these shops want to charge for such a simple fix during these tough times. read more

I am writing to explain my negative review. I brought in my 2018 Nissan Murano to the Plano location on Coit Rd after being rear ended. When I went to pick it up, the lift gate edge was rough and poorly painted as you see in the attached picture.  Miguel told me that it was minor and not a big deal. I insisted that he fix it. After waiting around an hour, Miguel told me to come back tomorrow.  When I came back, it still wasn't completely fixed. Kristi May, my service advisor, was amazing! I drove my vehicle over a concrete block at the end of a parking space. When I backed up the plastic shield under the motor along with my front bumper were pulled off. When I brought it to Caliber, Christi looked at it and said I think we can reattach the bumper and tack up the plastic cover. Let me take it back to the shop for a look see. My Mazda 6 was taken here because my son got in an accident. Every person I spoke to, was kind and respectful. There were a couple of delays due to no fault of their own (parts, tires), but it was easy to digest because of the way they deliver that news. I am thoroughly impressed by their customer service and it was exemplary. I don't know about the other Caliber Collisions but I can say that this one gave a wonderful experience. I wanted to add that Michael was the person assigned to my vehicle but every person that I spoke to was just as polite and kind as he was. read more

My 2019 Dodge Challenger Scatpack was involved in an accident. All 4 corners were damaged.. They did a complete repair and repaint. Worked with insurance companies with no problems. We had a lot of hail damage. Justin and his team did an amazing job getting everything fixed. They handled all insurance details. Once completed Justin went above and beyond to help us get my wife's car back to us. My wife had surgery and when the vehicle was ready Justin DELIVERED it. He took such great care of our car. 10/10 service I came in without an appointment and they were more than happy to help me out !

They pushed off the promise date on four different occasions and didn't tell us until my boyfriend either called or until the last possible minute. My boyfriend took his car in on July 20th and just got it back today September 12th. He only had some minor cosmetic issues from a hit and run. He had rental coverage for the first few weeks until the original promise date and after that was out of luck and having to spend stupid money on Uber's just to get to work. On the third promise date, he took off work to go pick up his car just for them to say it wasn't ready. But they didn't call to alert him of this. Today he was finally able to get his car back but only after he called multiple times, he was told it wasn't ready the first few times even though it was... How long it took and the lack of communication was ridiculous, I would never recommend this place to anyone!! read more

This was the first time I have used the Caliber Collision team as I had always used this Herb's Location. I stopped and ask if they could fix a small dint in my door that someone had hit me. The service person indicated that they had a small dent person who can come in and fix it and we set up an appointment for today. I showed up at 8;00 and he was there and fixed it in under 1 hour. He felt it wasn't perfect and refused to charge me! When does that happen? I tried to convince the Caliber person to take a tip for putting it together but he refused and said if it wasn't right no charge. I will continue to use this location as in the past and as much as I like Herb's this team was much friendlier to work with and wouldn't charge! read more

Derrick Cooke, estimator, showed great professionalism, customer service and kept me in the loop at every stage of the repair. He gave me better service than any Cadillac dealership/service center I have ever been to. The team at Caliber Colission on Coit Rd. In Plano are top notch! I came to this location for the repair of a door ding. Office administrator Lisa is accommodated my short notice appointment request with estimator Jordan. Jordan assessed the damage and suggested their PDR tech to look at it possibly avoiding extensive bodywork repair and paint. Jordan explained given the location and proxitiy of the door ding on the apex of a curved door panel its better to attempt repair of the ding then assess if the paint is really chiped or if it can be buffed out. PDR speacialist Alex had the door ding repaired in minutes and afterwards Jordan had the area buffed bringing my door back to perfection as in no sign what so ever that the door was ever struck! These guys are amazing. read more

Caliber was great until my car was in their shop for over a week and a half, and I had no estimated pick up. This was understandable cause my car is a 2022 and parts can take longer. Then , I got a text saying it would be another week. Irritating, but I couldn't help it. Communication was okay until the last few days when I was told my car needed calibrations and I was in line. I specifically asked if it would delay pick up and he informed me it could actually be ready earlier. AN HOUR BEFORE I HAVE TO PICK UP MY CAR, I call and confirm it's ready and Michael takes a deep breath and says it won't be ready until the next day. I'm furious because I had only planned my rental until that day and not once was that communicated. I finally call the next morning and request to speak to management, and get told i'm gonna get a call back, so I wait. No one called and I had to call them, and then all of a sudden my car is ready. When I arrive, the manager was assisting me instead of Michael, but when I get my car, there's details that we're just thrown. Things that should have been attached, polishing, etc. It was like they threw my car back together quickly because they were tired of hearing from me, when it stemmed from their lack in communication. I am grateful for my car being fixed, but I'd rather drive an hour to another Caliber than I would come back to this one. It took almost 3 weeks for my car to be fixed for minor damage to the front. read more

It seems to me that the pandemic has really changed so many companies. I own a business and know how hard it is to find new employees right now. But, somehow, Caliber Collision Plano on Coit, is still providing excellent customer service. Lisa Jacobs is who I have been working with to coordinate and repair my Hyundai Equus after it was rear ended. Lisa answers the phone every time I call. She texts me back within minutes. And she has walked me through this entire experience, anticipating questions and/or concerns, which has really made things so much easier for my mental health. This is my first time using Caliber since living in DFW for 17 years. For as long as I live here, they will always be the only collision service I use. And Lisa, thank you for all you do. I know your work is taxing and I imagine you have dozens of customers you are working with at any given time. Thank you for making me feel like I am the only customer you have.
