Auto Insurance recommended Caliber as an approved site for minor damage on front end, needed the nose cone and side fender skin replaced. It took 6 weeks to get car back, you have to let the phone ring about 20 times before anyone answers, then you get the runaround on waiting for parts. It looked good, but turns out that was only on the surface. How do I know? Glad you asked, a tire tread popped up on the highway and damaged (re-damaged?) the front bumper. This time I went to an independent shop from a recommendation. Car was repaired and returned in 6 days, it looks great. Talking to the guy that did the repair, he says someone had worked on the car before, didn't use OEM parts and the parts that were installed were incorrectly installed. He also said that looking at the damage if the right parts had been used and installed correctly the tread likely would have only scratched up the nosecone a bit. Six Weeks! Caveat Emptor! Writing insurance as well, cause they need to know about the substandard work at Caliber. read more

I've had a very good experience with this location. I was rear ended and the insurance company of the girl that hit me uses caliber collision as one of their premier service providers. I did a lot of research online and on yelp and overall caliber collision had some pretty good reviews (someone left a hilarious one on the cedar hill location So even though this location only had one review at the time (a 5 star review) I went ahead and went with this one since it was easy for me to get to you. From start to finish they made it really easy. When I called to ask some questions a very nice lady, Jessica, I believe, Answered my questions. I didn't get any attitude like you sometimes get when you call places and ask questions over the phone she was just pleasant. She was also the same person to greet me when I showed up to drop off my vehicle. That was a very easy process as well. I filled out papers and a very nice gentleman came out to my car with me to look at the damage. They were very thorough. Using one color they marked all the damage that was caused by the accident. Using another color they marked all the existing damage that was there before I brought my truck in( door dings and such). They sent me text messages along the way to keep me updated on the progress and even gave me a phone call to let me know that they would try to have it done by Friday but it could possibly be Monday or Tuesday. They actually had it done that Thursday which was very nice. Picking it up was also very easy. The nice lady at the front gave me a summary of all the work that was done on my vehicle and the same nice man brought my truck up to the front and looked at it with me before I got in and drove off. This was such an easy process once I completed my accident claim with my insurance. I loved that the rental car location was literally next door, right down the sidewalk. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I absolutely loved that they kept me abreast of the status of my repairs through text. If there was a delay, I was immediately alerted. It made it so convenient and I was never wondering how much longer. If there was a delay, they alerted my insurance company so they knew what was going on as well. This place is horrible do not use this location!! They first promised to call me every Tuesday and Thursday to update me on my vehicle, never happened. I had to call them. Then they gave me a date it would be ready, guess what it didn't happen. They then told me it would be ready on a Friday, Again didn't happen. They tell me hey you can pick it up tomorrow (Saturday) guess what!! They are closed on Saturday!! Now i call and the receptionist hangs up on me!!! The manager then tells me that now they are waiting on a tire. So now there is no telling when my truck will be ready... After posting the horrible service I received,at this location, the GM reached out. He did apologize and admitted that his employees where wrong and did what a reputable business does (compensated me for their faults). Caliber as a company is a great company, I just don't think I will be coming back to this particular location. This is the reason why I am changing the 1 star into a 4. I had a slight mishap during a rain storm that broke all the clips fastening the front bumper to the body of my car. I had used very strong tape to adhere it so that no further damage would occur. Unfortunately, with the hot weather the tape was beginning to come undone. I called Caliber Collision to see when and if they could schedule me to get the bumper replaced. They were easy to work with and told me to drop my car off the next day. I went into the shop and was promptly greeted by the front desk. They had me fill out some basic paperwork regarding contact information before an attendant walked outside with me to mark the location of the damage. There were vehicles in the lot with far more severe damage and yet Caliber was able to have my bumper replaced and painted two days after I dropped it off. My car looks brand new and has a lifetime warranty of the bumper work. Prices were extremely fair. Please note that this location does not accept cash as they don't have any way for giving you change! I made the mistake of cashing the insurance check but had to return to the bank to issue a money order instead. I am very satisfied with the timeliness of the repair as well as the service received. read more

They did a wonderful job repairing the damage to my car. They replaced the front left fender and matched the paint perfectly. The car was 13 years old at the time. The car is a silver Chevy Impala. The insurance company only covered a small portion of the front bumper cover, if I wanted to do the whole thing it would have cost me out of pocket. They covered the cost for me and replaced and painted the entire front bumper cover. What a great job they did. I would highly recommend this location. read more

My insurance set up an appointment for me at this location. I showed up and they told me the insurance wouldn't allow them to take in a Toyota at this time due to Toyota being shut down for a while in June. I had previously taken it to another collision repair shop and was told they couldn't take my vehicle in until July. My insurance adjuster called Caliber and was told they could get me in sooner so she made the appointment for me. I immediately called my adjuster and she said that wasn't the case. I understand there are supply chain issues, they should have called and notified me they couldn't take my car at that time and I would have happily rescheduled. I then asked if they could go ahead and order parts and once they come in if I could just drop my car off to begin repairs, they said they would but I would have to pay $200-$250 deposit, I declined and the service advisor got smart and said, "your deductible is $750 anyway." The wreck was still under investigation and no liability decision had been made yet. I was involved in a hit and run and I provided the license plate to the insurance and they found an active policy so are talking to the other driver. I don't think it was fair to try and charge me a portion of my deductible up front when the insurance hadn't even completed their investigation. I am now having to take off work for a third time to go somewhere else. This could have been avoided. There is a huge lack of communication and customer service at this location. I don't often write reviews (as you can see) but I feel almost obligated to write a review for Caliber Collision because of the customer service I received after dropping my car off 3 days ago. As Mario walked out to my car to see the damages to my vehicle, I asked how many days and he looked and said about 3 business days. Well I was going to be out of town on that 3rd business day. He explained that they would leave my car on their lot until I got back. No problem, right? Well...on the day before I was leaving to go out of town, I receive a text message from Mario that he knew I was planning on going out of town and that he would have my car ready that day at 5:30. So as I left work headed to the shop, I got stuck in traffic from an accident and called to tell them I would probably not make it by 6. Their response "No problem, we'll wait" I pulled up a few minutes after 6 and the one guy, whose name I wish I could remember, was so friendly and helpful when he checked me out even though it was past time for them to get off. I don't know if it's because I have been having some terrible customer service experiences recently but it was so refreshing to have such extremely professional customer service. While I hope I don't get into any other car accidents to have to use them again, I would definitely recommend them for your car collision repairs. You will be pleased with their service, from Ms Jessica at the front desk to your assigned service provider. They will alsokeep you up to date on the status of your repairs.
