I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. Our front window was replaced by DCI Autoglass. Months later after getting a rock chip while…read moredriving our window needed replacing. Took the vehicle to Safelight for the repair but they were unable to because side molding and clips were glued in by the previous installer (DCI). The molding and clips will need to be replaced. The insurance company will not cover it because they should not have been glued down. DCI was contacted but they have refused to talk to us about this issue.
