I was very disappointed in the work here, brought in my vehicle to be repaired for an insurance claim and ended up with my vehicle being worse off than when I brought it in. Parts not installed correctly, misaligned and even scratches that were not there when dropped off. The shop claimed the vehicles was previously repaired incorrectly and couldn't reassemble it how it was when I brought it in for repairs. They acknowledged they scratched the vehicle and offered to fix that but would not make the repairs right as they should. Very disappointed and highly recommend you look elsewhere to have your vehicle repaired. read more

Slow, overpriced, with nonexistent customer service. They have had my car for two weeks for a fender bender and have yet to provide a status update or ETA. When we saw the expensive quote, the payors decided to go through insurance and suddenly all terms changed. They were unwilling to tell me if the damage was from the accident or was pre-existing. Still waiting to hear if my car will ever be ready for pickup, I have to call them every day, or else I hear nothing. read more

I received an estimate from this business and the estimator told me that the repair would take approximately 2-2.5 weeks, so I said that I would drop it off on the next Wednesday April 17th as I was going on a business trip and would be gone for a week so as to minimize rental car costs. After returning and going into the 3rd week, I check on the status of my SUV, which I am told it will be ready on the coming Monday. I call back on that Monday and they say it will be ready on Wednesday. I call back on Wednesday, mind you no communication during this 3 rd week from them and they say "there is a dilemma" as they do not have all of the parts to complete the repair. They say that the part will not be ready until June 26th-- approximately 2.5 months after I dropped off my vehicle for rear bumper damage and after sending a text message the first week they had my vehicle stating that they had all of the parts in house for the repair. Meanwhile, I have a roadtrip vacation planned for the following week. I tell them to give my car back and my husband and I have to take off work to go get my vehicle. Next, they call on the Friday of my roadtrip that they have the parts. after I get back from my vacation and call asking to see the parts before dropping off the vehicle the estimator insinuates this is because I don't have the money for the repair not that the whole experience has been unprofessional and he has lied on multiple occasions throughout the process. In the end, the bumper was repaired, but the repair took from April 17 to May 25 and a bunch of wasted energy on the customer's part that should not have been wasted. read more

My experience with this company has been, in a word, superb. Very fast, very skilled, and, boy, did they go the extra mile on a very difficult leak diagnosis. If you've had a leak in a car that just cannot be tracked down, then you will know what I'm talking about. And this was one of those leaks. They spent a lot of man-hours trying to figure out where the leak was, and they simply didn't charge me for all those hours. They should have. They could have. But, they didn't. I would recommend Caliber Collision (Quarry Rd Manassas). I was rear ended late in the afternoon, and I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to get my insurance claim in time to drop my SUV off before they closed. Terrance was EXTREMELY kind to me during the process. He made sure that I was able to get my claim through and that I was able to drop my vehicle off before they closed. He also was very helpful with getting the rental car people to pick me up. He truly went above and beyond. Henery was also very helpful explaining the process of the repairs and the estimated timeframe to complete the work. He called to check-in with me letting me know that some of the parts were in. He also assured me that if the repairs didn't look right since my car was brand new, that they would work to replace the areas instead of repair. Caliber Collision Manassas, 8300 Quarry Rd. Referred to this location by my auto insurrer, USAA. Repair qouted at $768..63. When I dropped my 2018 Tundra last week promised updates and should pricing (additional work be required) a phone call. Never heard anything. When I arrived today cost more than doubled to $1,772.28. To top that off, the vehicle had bird droppings over the hood and cab top. It was washed while I waited, but not the kind of service I intend to recommend to anyone. read more

I am not happy at all with the charges for the repair of a broken side view mirror. First of all it took 6 weeks to get the part. Second I took the car there to replace the mirror and the charges were astronomical. They charged for 2.5 hour labor when it took 10 minutes to remove the broken mirror and replace it with the one they ordered which is not even an original part from Lincoln. I questioned the charges and was told that is what they are avowed to charge. USAA my insurance company agrees with the Caliber Collision. That is why the premiums are so high because the insurance company does not check the charges. They don't care because ultimately the consumer pays for it. The premium will increase and USAA will not lose any money. They say they care for military people but it is all a racket. read more

Unfortunately, my Cadillac was rear ended a month ago. I dropped it at Caliber's site in Manassas, Virginia as recommended by my insurance company. I was called for pick up. Upon arriving at the shop, I examined the work and noted a gouge in the new bumper. In addition, the seams were off from where the bumper met the rear quarter panel. I pointed this out to the shop manager who readily acknowledged the errors. He said they would be fixed. I was called again to pick up the car on and noted that the gouge was repaired, however, the seam between the driver's side rear quarter panel and the bumper grew farther apart as you head towards the rear of the car. Yet another shop manager came out and examined it and suggested that the gap was a result of a previous accident?? The car was never previously in an accident. She suggested I wait until the District Manager come in on Monday to examine it. When I arrived on Monday the District Manager was not there. Time ran out on my rental. I plan to take my car to a dealership and have Caliber's repair fixed. I have also contacted my insurance company and have filed a complaint. On a closing note, it appeared that they attempted to detail my car, except they left mud all over the driver's side mat and a square shaped dirty spot on the top of car where the detailer couldn't reach. I'm shaking still thinking about my experience with Caliber in Manassas. Last year, my wife was hit head on by a drunk driver and our brand new car was nearly totaled. We opted without very much research to have the car get repaired at Caliber (we took it to a local shop & the car got moved to Manassas)-- the vehicle was brought back to us about a month and a half later. When I got into the car, it seemed to creak a bit on turns and I noted it to the repairmen, who told me it wasn't anything to be concerned with. We don't drive the car very often, and it wasn't until this year that the creaking became a problem. The car's brake fluid light came on a few months ago (with a flashing red light) and I immediately took it to a local repairshop that was certified to work on my car. Upon inspection, the repairman first asked if I had any enemies or if someone was trying to harm me. Alarmed, I said "no"; but I did tell him the front of the car was repaired after a collision last year. The repairman and his associate immediately said "That explains it! The brake lines were improperly tightened and were leaking fluid. You could have been killed." They strongly encouraged me to talk to the folks who did my repair to alert them to the issue. They fixed the problem for 120 dollars -- (much better price that what could have happened to me) and noted that the problem was caused by a faulty repair on the invoice. The next day I called Caliber and left a message. They didn't return my phone call for another two days. Upon getting a call back, I explained what had occurred. The manager paused for a second and asked if I was still having problems with my brakes, and I said "No, they have been fixed now." And he then paused again and then asked "Well then why are you even calling me?" At this point, I was close to irate. All evidence pointed to Caliber screwing up tightening the brake lines and all I could think about was how I had driven in this car with my family. I trusted them, they broke that trust, and they were mad that I was even calling them. After I expressed my disgust at the situation (that they didn't even care), the manager said that he would look into the matter. I emailed him the invoice (that detailed that the problem with the brakes was the fault of the Caliber repair) and awaited a reply. A week passed and I heard nothing from Caliber. I emailed the manager and the manager said he thought this issue was closed. He said he talked to his employees and reminded them to be careful in their work. I asked whether he had done anything to look into my repairs and if he talked to the repairman who worked on my car, and he said he could tell me that answer. To recap: Caliber botched their repairs on the car; they were rude when I even called them back; they refused to take ownership for the mistake; and the best I got was vague platitudes about how they would do better in the future. Be warned-- these folks don't care about their work. My family and I were lucky, but they will kill someone someday if they continue to operate how they have. read more

Um... wow. Just wow. Amazing customer service. I've probably told 25 people about this place in the two weeks it's been since they've worked on my car. My baby, who I call Vinnie, had an unfortunate incident with a snow plow during Snowzilla 2016. Mr. Plow decided it would be a good idea to ram his 6 foot plow blade into the side of Vinnie, taking out the passenger front AND back door. My insurance company picked Caliber Collision to do the repair work. It also just happens that they are located directly across the street from my condo, so they were super convenient. They opened at 7am, I filled out the paperwork I needed and I was out the door at 7:15am. I received emails and texts messages every day or so, giving me the update on the progress of my car's repair. The car was done a day earlier than promised, looked perfect, and even better... they did a STELLAR job of cleaning/detailing the interior. They turned a potentially upsetting situation into a very easy and friendly process to deal with and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! read more

I wasn't happy with my experience at this location. While the staff was generally very helpful, I had to stay on top of them to make sure things were done properly. Mistake #1: I received a call that my car was ready for pickup. It was not. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the work looked rushed and shoddy. The bottom of my trunk was not fully sealed from when they re-attached it. I could see through the bottom of it. To make matters worse, they replaced my tail light with one that was scratched up. On top of that...there was visible condensation inside where the lamp is. Big mistake that could've led to even more damage. After pointing this out, the staff member made notes and said it was unacceptable and would have the mechanic replace the parts. I also noticed the bumper stoppers on my tailgate were missing so they agreed to order those and install them as well. Mistake #2: I get a call the next day saying my car was ready for pickup but the bumper stoppers were not in so I would have to come back in a few days to have them replaced. I picked up my vehicle only because Caliber told the insurance company my repairs were complete and I needed to return my rental. At this point I felt they were rushing me out the door because they wanted to clear the insurance check. When you give me an estimate of over $4600, please believe I want to check that everything is done as charged. I also suspect some parts that were quoted as new, were actually used. Mistake #3: 2 and a half weeks went back and I didn't hear anything from Caliber regarding my bumper stoppers (they were paid for and supposedly ordered.) So I call, and of course the stoppers couldn't be found and needed to be reordered. The employee said he would call me personally as soon as they came in. He did. Much appreciated. He even installed them for me the next day. Mistake #4: My tire pressure light was on when I initially picked my car up from them. I didn't think anything of it. I put air in the tires and drove it around a few days...it stayed on. I added a little more air...nothing. So I had them reset the tire pressure sensor when I picked up my stoppers. The light went off! I felt good about it, but they told me if it came back I needed to go to the dealership :/ I guess...my car never had this issue until I left my car at Caliber. read more

Brought in my daughter's car after an accident as this was an estimate place for USAA. I should have gone with my original gut feeling of getting the estimate done and go to Moes for the repairs. BUT my husband was impressed with the reviews so I gave in and took it to Caliber Collision. That was 27 days ago... we went to pick up the car 3 times and left without it. First time there was dirt under the fresh paint job. The second and third times the the new parts were not aligned even close leaving large gaps between the hood & qtr panels, headlight not installed correctly, qtr panels not aligned with the bumper, over paint on the hood and the list goes on. 27 days later we still have no car but when we tell them the issues they say..yeah your right. Hopefully the 4th time will be the charm?!?!??! read more

If you're looking for a half-done fix on your vehicle after your collision, look no further because you found the perfect place!! If I would have known that the service would have been this bad, I would've waited an extra three weeks just so my new car could look like new again. Prepare for a long post- My initial experience with Caliber Collision was fine at the start then rapidly went downhill once my car arrived on their lot. I was told I would get a call letting me know my car made it to their lot, I did not receive that call. I was only notified about the progress of my vehicle through generic text notifications and their website. After receiving my text notification that my vehicle was finished, I called the Manasses office only to get an automated voice message. I called the next day, and a call center representative told me that the Manasses center would call back- I never received a call. I called twice on Monday morning/afternoon and they never answered. I called again right before they closed on Monday and they FINALLY answered! I was told my car was FINISHED. I arrived the next morning to pick up my "finished" vehicle only to find that my bumper was still gapped with brackets showing and my fender flare was not attached to my vehicle. The front office staff did not appreciate my comments about the flaws they left on my vehicle, and I was finally able to talk to Adam the general manager about the situation. He had many excuses as to why my "finished" car looked the way it did. The excuses range from being short staffed to the staff not double checking my vehicle to "this is a factory manufactured piece and we have no idea of knowing how it fits on your vehicle without looking at others like it." I was gaslighted the entire time by Adam and his staff being told that the manufacture was to blame and "a lot of vehicles have gaps in their bumpers." I was told multiple times that the reference pictures they had didn't show whether a Nissan Rogue had gaps in the bumper attachment because so many other vehicles did. Adam also made a point that the pictures they had were black and white and every dealership uses this database. I was told that we could ride over to the Nissan Dealership just so we could see how the bumper attaches on Nissan Rogues. After arguing for 30 minutes that it wasn't supposed to be that way and him saying "I'll go over to Nissan and see that the gapping is correct or not and then ask you tomorrow why we went through this ridiculous situation," I pointed out a vehicle in their parking lot of the same make and model as mine to show that there were NO GAPS SHOWING BRACKETS in the bumper!! Can you believe it?? My car was ORIGINALLY made just fine, Manasses Caliber Collision just had no idea on how to fix a Nissan Rogue bumper! I don't know about you, but if I take my car to a body repair shop, I expect the people repairing my vehicle to know what they are doing and to double check my vehicle for errors they missed. When I picked up my vehicle the next day, Adam made me aware that they used the wrong brackets for my bumper and that caused the sagging of it. I told him I did not appreciate being treated so horribly when this business prides itself on customer service. After I told him I would write and post a completely honest review, he begged me not to post it. This entire experience at Manasses Caliber Collision has been absolutely horrible and completely ridiculous. Unless you want to be ridiculed for being concerned about mistakes they made to your vehicle, I would never recommend this place to anyone needing serious body work or collision repair. read more

I used Calibur last August/September when our car was nailed by a hit and run in the wee morning hours. The driver's side mirror, back quarter panel, and the tire/wheel were all damaged/removed. The repair took longer the insurance estimate, but that isn't Calibur's fault. Calibur also missed the side view mirror on the first go around. Again, not their fault. The tow truck driver failed to relay the proper information when I was unable to tend to the car at Calibur. My insurance (Metromile) also gets 5 stars as the list of repairs seemed to go far beyond the actual damage. Metromile also understood about the misunderstanding with the side view mirror and took care of it promptly. Simply put I had great service all around for an unfortunate accident. read more

Took my truck in for replacement of a dented back bumper, fix the dents on the frame of the truck, plus paint the lower back panel at the bumper. The work they did was perfect. Excellent customer service. Almost everyday I would receive updates about my car either through e-mail or a phone call. I really felt included about everything they did on a day to day basis. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My paint job grill and bumper were finished in 2 days. They did an excellent job and had me back on the road in no time.
