I stopped in on the coldest day last week because I had a flat tire and couldn't get air from the gas station due to freezing temps. I entered the building and was greeted by two sweet ladies who were more than happy to get me some help. A gentleman came up to the front of the store and put air in my tire,he also checked each tire and added air to each one. Thank You! You're the real MVP'S! read more

Communication during repair process was poor. When I went to pick up the vehicle, the repair was not satisfactory. I pointed out the issues and left the vehicle for correction. When I went back the second time, only part of the issues were corrected and they hadn't even bothered to clean their paint marker marks off the vehicle. I decided to go ahead and take the vehicle because I had zero confidence in them correcting the issues. Upon leaving, I realized they hadn't even reconnected the headlights to the wiring harness. read more

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this Caliber location a 3/10. I'll start with the positives before getting into the issues. The front desk ladies deserve credit. Both women were extremely kind, understanding, helpful, and genuinely good at their jobs. They were the only consistent bright spot throughout this experience. The mechanical work from my accident was also done well. I know this because I took my car to a trusted shop afterward to review Caliber's mechanical repairs from the initial insurance claim, and everything checked out. Communication during the insurance claim itself was decent at first, and Jason was friendly initially while handling the claim. However, that changed. During the initial claim, Jason repeatedly pushed me to leave an amazing review, mentioning that I'd receive a discount on a paint job if I did. Well during the initial claim, I requested a paint job on the front half of my car. I was quoted around $1,000 out of pocket. The insurance repairs plus the paint job took about a month. When I got my car back, the paint was not correct. My car is Mazda Soul Red Crystal, and in certain lighting the paint was noticeably orange. On top of that, my passenger-side B-pillars were heavily scratched, likely from aggressive buffing. They admitted fault and offered to replace those parts. As someone who just paid $1,000 for a paint job, I requested the work be redone. This was not only due to the incorrect color, but also because there was buffing compound and scratches left all over the car. Caliber advertises a lifetime warranty, cosmetic and mechanical, so I fully expected the work to be corrected. After some pushback plus back and forth about whether the color was actually wrong, I was told to drop my car off on December 2nd for warranty work. After that, communication completely fell apart. I was told warranty jobs don't receive updates like insurance claims, and that I'd get updates on Wednesdays. I received one update total over the course of more than 30 days. I had to repeatedly call just to get basic information about my own vehicle. The front desk ladies had to physically track down the GM to get updates for me because he wasn't following through on communication. Almost every update after mid-December was "it'll be done next week," which kept getting pushed back. The GM admitted the color was wrong and put me in a free rental, which I appreciated. But after that, I received no meaningful communication. I finally got my car back around January 9th, only to discover new issues. The paint had heavy swirl marks and scratches that absolutely did not reflect a "fresh paint job with buff and polish." My car looked like it had been run through a car wash repeatedly. I am very particular about my car, and I notice things others might dismiss. A fresh paint job should look close to new, not damaged. I also discovered they repainted nearly the entire car without asking me, yet somehow didn't paint the roof, which now does not match. The rear half of my car was originally factory paint, and I wanted to preserve that. No one consulted me. On top of that, my trunk emblems were removed. Worse, my left blind spot sensor was malfunctioning, giving false alerts or failing to alert at all. This could have caused an accident. I brought the car back, and Jason confronted me aggressively about my social media posts, accused me of exaggerating, and spoke to me in a passive-aggressive, intimidating way. I ended up crying in the lobby. The front desk staff apologized for his behavior, and the GM also apologized. I asked to have the sensor fixed elsewhere. Another shop diagnosed it properly: the rear left sensor was broken and needed replacement and recalibration, totaling $1,300. Caliber did pay for it, and since then my car has been functioning perfectly. This is my honest experience. When I say "Caliber," I mean the location overall, not every employee. The front desk staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, due to poor communication, unauthorized decisions, cosmetic issues, and unprofessional behavior from management, I would not recommend this location and will not return. read more

I suggest you ask before you do any work here. We had an insurance claim back in fall 2023 and we are still missing parts!! I've called every 2-3 months asking for an update and they say "oh yeah my manager will call you back TODAY". I've received only 2 calls letting me know it's on back order. I can't imagine after 24 months a part is still on back order when 2 newer models of my car has already come out! And I don't understand how they got paid by insurance and still not fix my car!! And still not call me back. I called yesterday and the agent said "the GM Chris White will call you back today. He will." Maybe I don't understand what "today" is. Because I'm honestly pretty patient for 24 months waiting for my car to get its last part. It honestly missing on my car. Yes it's drivable. But, I pay good money for a car with missing parts. Stay clear or at least ask upfront if parts are available and make sure you don't expect them to ever call you back "today" or get work "today". read more

I had my car taken to them about 2 weeks ago, only to fix repairs that were done by another driver. The other drivers insurance issued a check for the repairs that their driver had done. Before Caliber received the check they deemed my car a total loss which was not the case. Caliber then called us to pick up the vehicle last week. We sent our car to a different body shop because caliber didn't want to repair the vehicle. The day after they called my husband to get the vehicle they received the check and decided to cash it, even tho they no longer had my vehicle and they were not going to repair it. Now my car is sitting in a different body shop waiting so Caliber can reissue the check back to the adjusters and then they would need to reissue another check to the new body shop. How do you cash a check, knowing the vehicle is no longer there and you are not going to repair it even if it was?? I am confused and very annoyed to have to wait for Caliber to respond to the adjusters and reissue/refund them the check...... read more

I cannot say enough great things about Jason. He was extremely communicative on when we were out on the process of my car. My car had to have the back bumper replaced due to being rear ended. Towards the end of the stay my battery ended up dying and no longer working for unknowns reasons. It was nothing that the shop did, but he replaced the battery and took care of me, which was beyond what he was asked to do. read more

Absolute horrible experience had to take my car. Send it out to a different body shop took my car out. The adjusters gave the a check. They never worked on my car. They ended up cashing. The check has been two weeks that they haven't sent the adjusters their money back For me to get repairs to the new body shop. read more

My 4-month old was rear ended at the end of November. It did take me about a month to make an appointment for them to do an estimate. Then I had to wait another 3 to 4 weeks for an appointment to get my car in. I finally dropped off my car on Valentine's Day. I didn't hear from them for a few weeks so I called them. They had told me they didn't order my part yet because something was wrong with their system. I was pretty disappointed that I hadn't heard that from them first. Once it did get ordered, it took a few weeks to come in. I was first told I could pick it up on a Friday. Then I was told Monday. Then I was told Tuesday. And finally I was able to pick it up on a Wednesday. I don't feel the communication from them was fantastic. There were quite a few times that I was told they would give me a call and they didn't so I would have to call them the next day. I'm giving them a four-star because they did do fantastic work. I know the delay in getting the part wasn't their fault (except for not getting it ordered right away). Despite the lack of communication, I would go back to them again because of how great my car looks now. read more

I cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service and amazing quality of work from Caliber Collision! I will definitely be referring everyone I know to get their car repairs with them. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. From the lady at the front desk to the several calls I received to keep me up dated on my vehicle. Also, it didn't take that long for my repair to be completed. I didn't have to worry about calling for a rental, it was all taken care of. OUTSTANDING JOB CALIBER COLLISION!! Thanks again read more

Had my car towed in January 20th after a crash. I was originally supposed to only be out until today and have already spent over 300 not including deposits on a rental and have figured out that my car is pushed back till at least the 15th and my hood still has yet to come in. I am now working with Joe who has been very helpful but this is also the 3rd person I've worked with since bringing my car in that I've felt that way with. Just looking for some remediation as I will be spending as much on a rental as I am on the repair at this point if not more. read more

I love this shop! Specifically this one on shadeland. Some one had smashed my back window and I called around so many places but this shop took me in quickly. Insurance covered a bit so I only had to pay a small amount. I also got to speak to the guy working on my car. Believe his name was Jose, man with glasses. That guy is a real life saver. He worked on my car and I couldn't be more grateful. Such a hard working team, I recommend everyone!! read more

Caliber's pattern appears to be to respond to negative ratings by apologizing and instructing the reviewer to contact the "community manager." I did so following my review on 8/31/21, and Caliber's response on 9/1/21. Still, I heard nothing at all from Caliber--not even after continuing to attempt to contact them by phone. Just got the runaround. No word at all on the door handle Caliber had previously agreed to replace after they had lost the original one upon dismantling the car. As stated on 8/31, after initially being dishonest about our missing inside door panel, Caliber relented , taking responsibility for the part. However, because I let my guard down for a moment, they replaced our perfectly good inside door panel ($1500 for a new one, according to the car dealership) with one that was chipped and dirty. I did not notice until days later that the replacement panel was chipped. If it is our door panel, Caliber is the one who chipped it, since it was not chipped prior to their taking possession of the car. As I see it, companies generate an automated response to Yelp complaints only to appear to take action. Hoping the complainant will just give up and go away. Let me repeat, as far as I can tell, Caliber has no such position/person as a "Community Manager." read more

They did a fantastic job of working with my schedule, they were very kind and they truly cared about helping get my car fixed. When I went to pick up my car, they had detailed the inside and taken it to get a wash. I was not expecting any of that, so they went above and beyond!! read more

The receptionist was very rude to me and at several other customers that was in the office. The guys canceled my appointment a few times and they were not on the same page with my insurance company. When I did turn in my car to be fixed they did a rush job it only did the bare minimum to get by and passed back on to me just not really impressed with the work and the attitudes that I had to go through to get my car fixed and they still didn't fight for me what needed to be fixed they just did a rush job and you can tell read more

My car was taken great care of it looked brand new when we left the building, there was one scratch on the back left door that I wasn't sure if it was there when I got there neither was one of the people working there but they were more than willing to try to fix it it wasn't that big of a deal and they were great about trying to make it right, I would go back again read more

The experience was great from top to bottom. Service advisor Eric Lambert did an excellent job keeping me informed at all times as to the status of my repair, and was happy to answer any questions that I had. The staff was great to work with, very friendly and competent. The repair work was excellent - good as new - and the price was very reasonable. To top it off, they washed my entire car in spectacular fashion. I cannot overstate that. The experience was great, and while I hope never to need another collision repair, if I do, I'll take it to Caliber. read more

Stopped by to get an estimate on a small repair I just needed a 3x5 area painted, no body work required. The lady in the front office acted as if I was inconveniencing her and talked down to me. She asked what year of car and I said 1969. She rudely told me they do not do any bodywork on cars that old. I told her I just needed a spot painted. She said they don't paint entire cars. I again told her it was a 3x5 spot and paint goes on any year car. She said she would get someone to look at it. I told her you have already made up youd mind that you don't want to work on my car so what makes you think I want to touch my car. I just left. read more
