My vehicle was broken into downtown in June of 2022. I took it to this location because I had work done here when it was the previous owner/business - Golden Chassis. I assumed that they retained some of the same staff and/or standards. I was so disappointed with my vehicle repair. I wasn't going to leave this review because I had a lot going on in my life. My marriage was ending. I worked for, basically, satan. I was overwhelmed and I was just trying to have a lot of grace. The repaired vehicle was picked up by my then ex-husband who me, and I him, so he probably didn't put a lot of care into looking it over and refused to return it after I pointed out my concerns. The plastic trim on the outside has some kind of solvent used on it that damaged the finish. It looks like it was on a rag and then pressed against the car like a 90s HGTV faux finish. The same piece of trim was not fastened correctly and was popping out and away from the car. The leather seat had glass ground into from where the kind people stepped into it to get in and out of the car without setting off the alarm. It was left completely untouched, no repair. The real rub was that there was a pile of glass left underneath the seat. No attention to detail at all. Why now? Why leave a negative review a year later? Because yesterday when I was lifting a few things out of my car, I found another huge piece of glass in the seat crevice. These guys are honest, genuine and the customer service is outstanding! The screws on my license plate were rusted in and broke off when the guys tried to remove them. They took their time to try various solutions before writing up a quote and charging for any labor. I ultimately decided not to pay for the service and see if I could get a better price elsewhere. However, Tom still came up with a temporary fix, and said the quote was good if I ever decided to come back. read more

Car problems of any kind are a real inconvenience, and no one enjoys visiting a mechanic or auto body shop. When these situations arise in my life, I seek to address them in the most efficient and expedient way possible. For years, when I had an auto body need, I turned to Church Brothers. I was sad when they were purchased by a national chain, but I am happy to report that Caliber Collision provides the same great service as their predecessor. My most recent experience at Caliber Collision was nothing short of excellent. While the repair had nothing to do with a collision, the shop repaired extensive hail damage to my beloved vehicle. Getting the estimate done was a snap. Due to COVID, the staff allowed me to wait in my car while they surveyed the damage. Everything was done very quickly, and Caliber Collision worked very well with my insurance company. When I dropped my SUV off for service, my rental car was waiting. I was quoted four days for the service to be completed; it was done in two days. When I received my car, it looked brand new. Caliber Collision even detailed its interior, free of charge. My dealings with Caliber Collision's staff have always been positive. I was very impressed with my last representative's diligence, customer service skills, and great attitude. On a previous occasion, when I had been the victim of a hit-and-run, I requested Caliber Collision do everything possible save my wrecked car. Unfortunately, it was a total loss. However, I appreciated the staff member reminding me my vehicle would never be safe to drive (even with their best efforts) and reminding me the insurance payout would be my best financial decision. Do not take your car here unless you have a lot of time to sort out their untruths and questionable business practices. I was told two months ago that I would receive a refund for a rental car expense. Every time I follow up (they have barely kept me updated) I'm told the "check is in the mail." To make matters worse they held my car hostage an extra three weeks after it was complete because they changed their processes for releasing cars and I had to wait until the new process was implemented. I am so disappointed in their arrogance and overall lack of follow up. This is disappointing also because under their previous ownership, Church Brothers, this never would have happened. read more

I had repairs done on my car three months ago and when I picked up my car multiple parts were missing. The first one I noticed was when it started raining and I went to turn on the windshield wipers. When I turned them on nothing happened and I realized that there were no wipers on my car. I had to pull over and the highway and go back for them to find where they had put my wipers. The second piece I noticed was a cover in the door handle. With the piece missing there is now a hole in my door on the inside. I call every couple of weeks about the missing part and they assure me "they are going to order a replacement part" but it has been three months of me calling and they still haven't. read more

Just wanted to get my car repaired but apparently they won't take anyone's insurance. I'm with geico and progressive is covering the damage but apparently that's not good enough for this place and they don't accept either of those. Guess they don't like money. read more

I have had 2 cars repaired there. First time my Lexus was in for over a month and kept being told it would be ready and that would change. Once I picked it up it had no gasoline stereo wasn't working and all the alarms went off when I drove it. As always it wasn't their fault although I was told the subwoofer was wet. Yesterday my wife went to pick up her Hyundai and it had a flat tire and she told the lady who drove it over it doesn't sound right and the lady from caliber said yes it sounds like something is flapping. Well this morning my wife doesn't even drive a mile from house and us a flat tire, ice again she calls and they said well it's not their fault and agreed to send a technician over. I am concerned of taking another vehicle to them as the service is poor and everything e we have sent the cars something happens that doesn't seem safe to drive their quality check are terrible. I'm calling insurance company to let them know the terrible experiences I have had. read more

I had an accident with my vehicle and my insurance company had them as their preferred body shop, i had no problem because i have worked in insurance for the last 40 years and dealt with church brothers many times and that is who they use to be. I had went to another location of theirs to get my estimate because it was closer to my job but then decided to go to another location because it was closer to my home. I called to inform them and they just called the otger location and had my estimate downloaded to them. I called them again to set up my appt, a rental was arranged and all i had to do was drop off my car, get in the rental and leave. I had chosen the text method to keep me informed. I've taken 2 different cars to this location 3 times, all for minor issues. One was insurance (dented bumper), and the other two were so minor I did self-pay. I always found the staff honest, reasonably priced, and easy to work with. Hopefully I won't have reason to come back, but if I do need body work, I know where to go. read more

This place was great! I ended up not having rental coverage so they knew I was without a car for a little and said they would expedite my vehicle repair....and they did! Justin was great in texting me updates throughout the week and I was able to pick up my car a week later. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They even offered me a ride home when I found out I couldn't get a rental. Great place, would highly recommend. read more

If you are self-pay you might want to avoid Caliber formerly Church Brothers. They know how to bill at the highest rates that insurance will pay, but makes a big difference if it is coming out of your own pocket. My car had a bumper that was scraped in a parking accident, so very low speed and essentially scratched plastic. When I joked before receiving the itemized bill, about I would love to get paid twelve hundred dollars for two hours work, he corrected me and said it was probably more like three. Imagine my surprise when I look at the bill and it has 17.3 hours of labor included in the bill. Sad that they will try to juice this much out of self pay customers but oh well what do you do? read more
