To make the long story short, someone hit my car while inside a building, filed a police report, and filed a calm with my insurance. Just a few months after the repair, the hood unexpectedly flew open while I was driving on the highway, creating a highly dangerous situation that nearly resulted in a serious accident. I trusted that the repairs were completed properly and safely, which makes this experience especially concerning. Despite the severity of the incident, I have now been informed that the shop is denying responsibility. As a single father of an eight-year-old child, I take vehicle safety extremely seriously. I also do not have the financial means to cover repairs for an issue that appears directly related to prior work performed by the shop. This situation is both disappointing and distressing. A deer hit my car in September. My insurance (state farm) sent my car to them. They kept my car for over a month. When I got it back I kept taking it back because I told them that my car still wasn't running right. Fast forward to February 22 my cv axle broke. I had my car towed back over there and they told me that them fixing my car or rather not fixing it had nothing to do with the cv axle. My agent for the car was a Mr. Leland. Came in to get an estimate for a scratch on my car. Was expecting to pay hundreds to have it fixed, especially after a previous estimate. The service rep, Uriel, patched it with a little paint for free. Could barely tell that the scratch was there afterwards. Would recommend. read more

My vehicle was not received until one week after the estimated completion date, after numerous calls made by husband and myself. Initially we were told the parts were in and there should not be a delay. My insurance company informed me they left repairs out which had to be requested which caused further delay. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle I was asked to provide my credit card information over the phone in the lobby. I had to ask for privacy! After the payment I was asked to sign a form regarding the "warranty" however, there is a clause regarding arbitration, which no one could explain why I had to agree to arbitration by signing the form. Not even the manager that was contacted by phone could explain why signing that form was necessary to retrieve my vehicle , the only explanation the manger could give was it was a corporate form and I could not receive my vehicle without it. I was agreeable to sign something stating the repairs were completed and I was satisfied at inspection but not regarding any future mishaps. I contacted Fayette police and upon arrival the officers explained it was a civil matter and they can only remain present to ensure the situation did not escalate. So in order to receive the car I was forced to sign the form. I definitely would not recommend this shop unless you are okay with poor and miscommunication along with deceptive forms . read more

Professional Customer Service is a poor disguise for - POOR WORKMANSHIP After being rearended at a stop sign, the at-fault driver's insurance company - Progressive - steered me to Caliber Collision in Fayetteville, GA. Damage to my vehicle appeared relatively simple. The rear lift gate was pushed in slightly from the low impact collision. There was no apparent damage to the gate hinges or range of motion; the gate still opened and closed properly, and I was able to use it without issue. Upon arriving at Caliber, I met Jessica. Although quite busy, she displayed a welcoming, customer friendly attitude throughout the intake process. She was professional and answered all my questions. Kyle acted as my damage estimator and service consultant. He too was customer sensitive and professional. After reviewing the damage to the lift gate and scuffed up rear bumper, the vehicle was left with Kyle to estimate time and cost of the repairs. Unfortunately, the insurance company decided they would rather total the vehicle than pay to repair it, which is a backdoor way of buying the vehicle at a wholesale price. I declined the offer and advised Kyle the car would be picked up in the next two days. When I examined the vehicle, it didn't take long to see that it was in worst condition than when it was left with Caliber. The body was marked up with colored markers to identify current and past body damage. Inside the lift gate opening was filthy with large clumps of dirt and mud in the rear seating area (I can only speculate as to the cause.). More importantly, the lift gate no longer worked properly. It had to be slammed repeatedly just to get it to latch. The gate no longer sealed tight against the body. Even the dent appeared bigger! The plastic license plate carrier no longer adhered to the lift gate like it did when it was brought in. I was told some of the clips and pins that hold that piece tight and secure had been lost. In effect, my vehicle was returned in worst condition and with fewer parts than it had when I entrusted it to Caliber. This is unacceptable! No matter how good Caliber Fayetteville customer service is it cannot make up for Poor Workmanship. If you want your vehicle repaired correctly, don't take it to this shop! read more

In October a deer ran into my vehicle. My insurance referred the vehicle to Caliber for repair. I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in. When I arrived, I was told my technician was in a last minute meeting with GEICO and upper level management after waiting 25 minutes in the lobby. The young lady at the counter took pictures of the vehicle and scheduled the repair.(Fast forward) I arrive to pick up my vehicle and while I'm in the lobby, at the counter, I receive a text message stating that my completion date has been changed. I ask the young lady at the counter why I wasn't contacted before my arrival that my vehicle wasn't ready. She didn't provide a reasonable explanation nor did she care. I arrive to pick up the vehicle AGAIN only to find out my vehicle still isn't ready. This time I'm told that the technician had a family emergency and my pick up date was changed. Long story short this happened 3 times; Not one time did Caliber call me beforehand. Finally I picked my vehicle up today, I'm not satisfied with the paint job that was done on the vehicle AND my panoramic moonroof/sunroof liner was damaged. I brought this to the attention of David at the Fayetteville location. He stated that there was no reason for them to be on the inside of my vehicle. Well someone drive the vehicle from the shop to the front of the building, someone changed the radio stations, so clear someone was inside the vehicle. He offered no explanation or apology. Communication at this location is an issue. I would not use this location in the future. read more

We had our 4runner towed to Caliber Collision after our accident in October 2020 since they were the only preferred vendor for our insurance company near our home. It is now January 2021 and we are still waiting to get our car back from them. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare because of their poor communication skills. We have repeatedly asked when our car will be fixed and are always told a new date of when to expect our car back. We have been told about 8 different dates as a potential pick up day. Today we were finally told that they would personally deliver the car to our home, and I thought Hooray! Finally, a moment of happiness. And then 30 minutes later they demanded that we pay them the deductible before they would even drive the car over to our house. Keep in mind, we have not seen the car, and have no idea as to whether or not the car is actually fixed properly. I've spoken to several people with caliber ( Denny? Maybe Danny in Fayetteville, GA? And someone by the name of Chandler) including the regional manager Seth Tartley and absolutely no one has been helpful. During our numerous conversations, no one ever even mentioned that we would have to pay the deductible before getting the car. I just thought they would bill us later. Even when speaking to the regional manager on the phone, he seemed like he really didn't care about getting us our car back. I proposed something very reasonable, that they let us inspect the car first, and then have someone ready to accept our payment once we've seen with our own eyes that the car has been properly fixed. They acted like that couldn't be done, and they would have to move mountains for this to happen. Keep in mind that this is a huge auto collision repair shop with multiple locations, it's absolutely insane that they don't have an online payment portal and still rely on a physical person running a credit card through a machine. The amount of attitude in their tones, when I told them it was crazy that they demand I pay for something I haven't even seen yet was really concerning. I kept getting the feeling that I was being scammed, and it was just really unsettling. I hope no one else ever gets into an accident and is forced to use them like I had to. And if you are unfortunate enough to be forced to use them, I hope they treat you with a little more respect and actually communicate with you and don't repeatedly lie to you over and over again. 1-11-21: so I have sent an email to the address provided from the owner, and that was a pretty half hearted attempt at fixing the issues I've commented on. All they did was respond by asking what location I had an issue with. There were no specific inquiries as to what the issue might have been, and how they could potentially correct it. He took my information and explained the whole process in detail which relieved all my stress. David provided me with updates regularly between the insurance company and Caliber Collision. The worst customer service and follow up. We were very understanding about back ordered parts. BUT since the part came in on October 8th and they still have our truck it's been one frustration after the other. We had to pay $300 out of our pocket for a rental because they we're not transparent about the completion date. AND that was 8 weeks ago and we still don't have our truck. Final straw yesterday the day before Thanksgiving 3months to the day we turned our truck in David called at 7 am to say the truck was ready to pick up. My husband is a restaurant manager and did everything in his power to get out by 5 pm to pick it up. HE decided to call Caliber to let them know he may run late, but he was on his way. They proceed to tell him he can't pick it up because they need a final email from Geico!!! What has Caliber been doing for the last 3 weeks while our truck was supposedly going to be done the next week...WHY DIDNT THEY CONTACT GEICO TO GET THE FINAL PAPERWORK AHEAD OF IT BEING COMPLETE! WHY DIDNY CALIBER CALL US BETWEEN 7 AND 5 TO LET US KNOW THERE WAS AN ISSUE? OF COURSE TODAY IS THANKSGIVING AND NO ONE IS WORKING SO WERE PROBABLY STUCK ANOTHER 5 DAYS WITH ONE VEHICLE!! Where to even begin, I'm not one to write reviews but I'm doing it to help others steer clear of this business. If I could add screen shots of the LITERAL 20 times they've changed my date of completion I would. Don't expect for them to reach out to you either to see what's going on with your vehicle . They will tell you anything to get off the phone with you, be prepared to hear "it's in paint and it will be finished and ready for pickup tomorrow" and then not hear from them for as much as two weeks until you have to call them again just to hear the same excuse. You would think they have picasso back there painting with the worlds smallest paint brush. But no, sadly not the case after finally getting my vehicle back after 3 trunk lids, the paint was dried dripping and blushed. Service was bad , communication was bad, work done on the vehicle sub par. Someone needs to show these people how to run a business. Do yourself a favor and hit up Brian's paint and body off highway 16 for some good paint and body work! read more
