To the young lady that came out to look over my car and assess the damage. For Felisa had a welcoming demeanor and great customer service skills.. she made my experience amazing. Worst paint job ever! Took my Mercedes there. 2 weeks there and the paint dripped.looks like waves. I went to get couple things out of car and it was in a 100 hot room. The foil plastic on the front bumper cracked and warped. Such heat, no wonder the paint dripped. They don't know what they are doing.stay away. If anyone knows how rough it can be to provide quality service during a transition in ownership, employees and brand... I do. So when I went in to schedule my Jeeps repairs; I was greeted by a friendlier face than I dealt with last year and a lot happier employees. Made an appointment to drop our car off for an appraisal and repair today. I had called a week ago and asked if I could drop off when the business opens and was told not a problem. When I arrived at the opening time, no one was manning the front desk except the parts guy. He looked us up and said we could not drop off the car and would have to come back later when the appraiser was in. I recounted my call from the prior week to the individual citing that I was told I could drop off the car. He told me directly that that conversation wasn't true essentially calling me a liar. He then stated he didn't know when the front desk was coming in and that its been a bit hectic there citing people either recently quit or were fired, implying the business is on the rocks. I left my number and asked him to have the manager call me. I took off time from work to drop off my car, and came out having been offended being called a liar, having wasted my time and losing all confidence in caliber. I used this place before and had a great experience hence why I was coming back. This experience was such a stark difference, it made me ask myself what in the world happened to cause such a change. read more

We were turned away from two other body shops after a collision - too full due to COVID to take our truck. We were warned by our insurance carrier that it could be several weeks to get the truck repaired for the same reason. Thankfully, Caliber Collision told us we could have our truck towed to Dublin from Tracy and they would take care of us. Boy, did they! Our vehicle is critical to the operating of our business and they took that to heart, having our truck in and out in just over one week. I was kept updated each step of the way, from the time they received the truck, through the estimate, to the ordering and receiving of the needed parts and the final completion. I didn't choose this place but my insurance had sent me there. When I brought my car in it had really unique damage to a glass piece on the roof. He had said something along the lines of "I'm supposed to know exactly what to do and how to fix it when you bring it in" blah blah whatever so I was like damn it's probably going to take a minute then. But they had my car fixed in 2 days. The customer service was over the top. The people who work here are so kind, timely, and helpful. Also they have to clean the whole car for covid purposes and it was so clean and looked amazing. I definitely recommend this place. 5 stars from every aspect. read more

Please stay away based on my horrible experience. I waited almost a week for them to give me an estimate, which was promised within a few hours. They are not responsive & dont keep their commitment on timelines or bother notofying their customers. When I complained, they suggested that I find another shop as they dont want to recieve a bad survey after completing the work. Look up other reviews & a few people have had a similar experience. I had a fantastic experience at Caliber Collision in Dublin. My van was fixed quickly and perfectly! The team is SO friendly and professional. Christina was very helpful and personable. She even remembered to ask how my dog was doing when I picked up the car, as I had shared with her when I dropped the van off that my dog had had surgery that day. Matt was the associate who looked at our van and handled our claim. He could not have been nicer or done a better job of guiding us through the process and what would need to be done with the van. My car was totalled by a jacknut who ran a stop sign and t-boned me. My car was supposed to go to the Caliber Collision location nearest me, in Oakland, but ended up being transported to the Dublin location after a bit of a comedy of errors on the tow company's part. Lou from Caliber kept me well informed as to the progress of my car's estimate (leading to being declared a total loss by my insurance company). He also helped package up all my car's contents and had them couriered back to the Oakland location so I didn't have to go all the way to Dublin to pick them up. I worked with Al for my estimate and scheduled my car to be repaired by them. I can say that Al went above and beyond for me as a customer! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Took the vehicle under insurance, thought that appt was to schedule, instead had to wait for an appt for evaluation, then another week gone by still waiting for an appt to schedule to bring into fix. Its been at least 3 weeks dealing with them and no sight for fixing car. Good thing we came to read other reviews, can't imagine if they keep car for over a week after its brought in. Not a bad accident, but did get rear-ended so more of an inconvenience. Went to Caliber and was first helped on the phone with Daniel. Arrived for the estimate, he was on time for my arrival when he did the estimate. We agreed on a day to leave the car and he gave me a reasonable time estimate for completion. During that time, we were kept informed along the way and prior to committed time, the car was completed. I went to pick my vehicle up and was met by the very cheerful Office Manager Christina, who printed the final paperwork and made absolutely sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Just efficient, friendly, and competent people making this minor inconvenience a little bit better. I would give them a look for a fender bender. read more

Everything went very well at first. The office person was very nice, they were very informative and the automated system that provides updates was helpful. However the quality of the work was not good and as soon as I pointed it out, they were dismissive and unhelpful. My wife picked up the keys and paid before she looked at the truck (I know - our mistake). When I went to inspect the rear of the truck (it had been rear ended), it was clear they either put a hole where they were supposed to, ordered the wrong part, or just didn't finish the job. I have a 2"x3" hole in the back of my bumper. It looks like they initially put the hole for the trailer plugs on the wrong side. When I called them they said "oh yeah we noticed that - that's how they come now". Rams now come with a random hole in the bumper? Absolutely ridiculous. If I could give no stars, I would. I took my car in for an estimate and two weeks later I had heard nothing from them. The person to whom my car was assigned said that he "thought he thought he lost the pictures and then found them" when I called for an update two weeks later. When I asked him why he didn't call me when he found them he said he "just forgot". Two days later my insurance company had still not received anything from Jason. I decided to take my business elsewhere at that point. read more

Hello, I would like to say I had one of the best experiences I have ever had at Caliber Collision. I didn't even recognize my Yukon when I got it back it was Rockin let me tell you . First off Christina was awesome to start off with in the front office then I explained to Matt about getting sideswiped by a truck and boat trailer up north he was also very easy to talk to he put me at ease and told me what needed to be done he then wrote up an estimate he called me back and I said lets do it. I dropped it off. Matt and Geo updated a few things for me just to let me know what was going on. And a couple more days went by they called me on the dot when he said it would be done. I drove over and I was greeted by the pros that handled my Yukon. Matt and Geo went over everything they did and they did a lot more than I could imagine my ride looked so damn good I didn't even recognized it at first but it was shining let me tell you. Anyone that comes here they are very professional and know their stuff so don't worry yourself about this outfit they Rock. Christina , Matt and Geo and whoever else that helped me out on my Yukon you guys are all awesome people, I loved working with all of you thank you again A+++ class act and service I would highly recommend Calber Collision to everyone I know family and friends they are the ones. We needed some body repair done after our car was involved in an accident. For starters, they took so long to complete the work that our insurance coverage on our rental car replacement went over the agreed upon date and I had to pay the difference out of pocket. Caliber was working on my vehicle for TWO MONTHS before repairs were completed, which was well over the promised date. That's not even the worst part. Upon completion of work they erroneously double billed me for my deductible. When I realized it (unfortunately after paying...) they promised to reimburse me. That was in February. It is now June 29 and I am still waiting on payment. The shop claims their corporate office is backed up they will eventually get to my reimbursement, but thus far it has been all lies. They originally promised within 90 days max, hopefully within 60 (which was ridiculous enough).....then 90 days came and went. Every phone call I make to ask about it is met with apologies and the same tired excuse. I've now been given a promise date of mid-july. All this for a simple $300 reimbursement. Totally unacceptable. I'm sure all their customers pay on time. But they apparently cannot or will not meet the same standard and don't seem to have any shame in pulling out the lame "It's our corporate office...there's nothing we can do....Sorry" excuse. I will never be giving this place my business again. I'd heartily recommend Crash Champions in Pleasanton as an alternative to anyone looking for body work. For now though.....I'll ask one more time. I meant to write this a lot sooner, but I've just been busy. But they deserve better. They were amazing from the beginning. As soon as I dropped off my-car, they wanted to know if I was okay after my accident. That is something you never get. "Cars can be replaced, you can't." I wanted to cry there because you just get that any were. He was also very detailed. Matt went over every step and process. And he dealt with my insurance directly. And he got me my car faster than I ever thought. Which I really needed my car to do what I had to do. I dropped it off on a Monday and he told me that Wednesday that he can get it to me that Friday. He made my day everyday with great news. "I want to make you day everyday" Matt said. He made the worst experience of my life and tried to make it to a positive. Everybody at the office was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and really worked with us to make sure we could get all the work done, with out spending a ton of money. I was referred by my insurance company to see Caliber Collision after a car accident. It took 3 weeks (which I think is reasonable) from the time they conducted the estimate to get my vehicle back looking brand new. They also found additional damage underneath my vehicle which they addressed as well. There was a miscommunication between my insurance company and Caliber Collision, which required me to intervene on a few occasions. I had my Subaru repaired at this shop (under a different ownership a couple years ago). At the time they did a great job keeping me informed of the progress and dealing with the insurance companies. A couple years later I stopped in because I noticed something was coming loose. Without hesitation they ordered the part and took care of it. They always have friendly and helpful staff in the front office. A couple months ago I hit a high curve in an old shopping center parking area. The whole right side of my bumper got detached from the clips that hold it in place. I walked in and saw the same nice staff but noticed they had new uniforms. They told me it's a new name but the same people. At first they told me that they technically couldn't even touch my car without an appraiser taking a look at it - for liability reasons- which I totally understand. They told me to schedule an appointment etc.... but as I was leaving the lady I spoke with came out with one of the managers. He used the side of his hand to push the bumper back into place and it looks like nothing ever happened. They were so kind! I had an important meeting that day which I would have missed because I couldn't drive my car the way it was. I strongly recommend this body shop. They took great care when I needed major auto body work, stood by their work a couple years later and they got me on the road on a day I really needed my car :) read more

This is a first class operation and they provide some of the best customer service in the industry. I had to have my car fixed after a fender-bender and from the first phone call I was treated with friendly courtesy. First of all, I missed my first appointment for the assessment (my fault) and instead having to reschedule weeks out, the receptionist asked one of the other assessors on staff and he stopped what he was doing and immediately helped me with a great attitude and professionalism. This never happens like.....NEVER. Because of a number of factors, my repairs were delayed for several weeks but Lou, who coordinated the service, stayed in touch regularly to keep me updated. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company and also with the rental car service. Finally, because of an unexpected hiccup in the repairs on their end, they gladly took the initiative to take care of that issue without any charge to me or the insurance company....and as if that wasn't enough, they even paid for some of my financial exposure on the rental car. I can't thank Lou and his team enough for this great experience. Caliber Collision is amazing! Someone backed into my vehicle which left quite a bit of damage to the front end of my car. I went to multiple auto body shops for estimates, and ultimately chose Caliber because of their fair price, and more importantly their wonderful staff. I am so glad I chose them, because I got swept up in a mess with the other person's insurance, and Caliber staff, (the front desk receptionists, and Jason), were so helpful in navigating through the insurance fiasco. In addition my car was repaired and looking like brand new in the time they estimated it would take.
