"Owner Paints Horse Trailer, Sleeps in Trailer to Confirm Quality" The owner of this business insists upon top-quality. It doesn't matter if it's a car, boat, plane, or horse trailer. However, Mark does not like to paint locomotives. Anyway, this horse trailer was destined to become a mobile bar. Yes I know that sounds odd, but that's the gospel truth. Naturally if you want to convert your horse trailer to a bar, it must be impeccable. So when Mark painted this trailer, he had to be positive there were no drips. I mean, just imagine if you were guzzling a beer and paint drops started plopping from the ceiling. That would be no fun! Plus it would add an unknown flavor to your beer. The side of my sedan was scraped and knowing nothing about cars, I was afraid to mess with it and make things worse. Mark took one look at it and saw that it was mostly transfer paint. He wiped it off with a rag and it immediately looked much better..... I was a bit embarrassed but he was really nice and didn't rib me about it. There was a slight dent and two chipped areas left and I told him my main worry was that they'd rust. He told me I could just order matching paint from Toyota and cover them up to prevent that. Mark is a really nice, decent gentleman who is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met here since I moved here last year. I accidentally scraped my car on a pillar during parking near my apartment two days ago. So I was browsing where I can get it repaired on yelp. Luckily, I found Reflection Auto Finishing which is very close to my home too. I asked his estimate for this scratches on yelp, but he suggested me to bring it in first to check the damage in person. So I contacted Mark and scheduled an appointment with him the next day in the morning. Today, I brought my car in and I feel so sorry that I was almost 20 min late. I am so grateful that he is so considerate that he was waiting for me even if it was totally my fault. ISo he checked all those scratches on my car, directly brought out the tools and buffered out majority of the scratches. Afterwards, he taught me a lot on how to DIY touch-up the remaining scrapes which can not be done by buffering. And all of those, he did it for totally FREE! That has saved my a lot of money. Although, it was a only 15 min visit there, I was so happy and excited that my Thursday morning was so fantastic with Mark's help. At the end of the appointment, he even helped and guided me backing up from the parking lot just in case, I may scrape my car again as I am still a kind of new driver. Somebody rear ended my bmw in the parking lot and decided not to leave a note. I took my car to multiple body shops before I saw Mark. He provided a very reasonable quote that was not much higher than my deductible. Therefore I decided to give him a try. He told me to bring the car back the following week when he had time. Mark was efficient. Where other shops were telling me the work work would take a week. Mark fixed my car in a day. I think he probably takes only a few customers at a time so he can get your car in and out. On a side note, when I picked up my car he noticed my brake light bulb was out. I've had my fair share of experience with body shops around the Bay Area and I am so glad I found Mark at Reflection Auto Finishing. I backed off a curb (like an idiot) and caused some damage to the bumper that really wasn't worth making an insurance claim over. I checked around at a few places and all said the same thing: needs a new bumper cover and will need to fully paint it. Mark, however, offered to try to repair the existing one rather than just replacing it. He was able to use a heat treatment to bend out the indentation, matched the paint perfectly and I was on my way in roughly 24 hours. I was blown away and the work was perfect. So glad that he was able to repair it without replacing and it saved me the headache of insurance claims. His rates are extremely reasonable, especially if you are opting to pay out of pocket. I feel like he's one of the last good guys around that truly cares about his customers. You'll notice he's got a bunch of 5-star reviews and they are well-deserved. I never thought I would ever meet a true Craftsman again. I grew up in the 60's and 70's when people really took pride in their work and loyalty to company and visa versa was the norm. I have to tell you that I was so lucky to choose Reflections Auto Body after reviewing a number of local body shops on Yelp. Mark, the owner, leases space for his company from Parkway Auto Body. He is a one man show, however, you would not know it from the rate at which he gets things done. He carries his mobile phone with him at all times so usually he will answer any incoming calls immediately. If you leave a voice mail I can assure you that he will return your call within an hour or as soon as he can drop his task at hand. He also responds very well to text messages. Mark kept me informed at all times on the progress of his work on my car and when a part was not going to be received on time, he notified me right away so that I can make plans around the delay at my convenience and not his. When I received my car and inspected it I was amazed with the quality of workmanship. The paint color was a perfect match, the finish was just like when it came from the factory! I have had many cars in body shops over my 60 years on earth but this was the best job I have ever seen. Mark is a true Craftsman at body work. All i can say is WOW. I am literally shook, as I am writing this as soon as I got back to my office. I scraped my car BAD saturday night on a pole on my brand new BMW. I felt like i was the dumbest guy in the world, as I am extremely OCD about my car and I was not being careful. I was looking at filing an insurance claim, reading tons of articles and watching an endless amount of videos online for buffing out scratches on my paint. Reflection Auto Finishing is by far that best body shop I've ever had in the past 30 years. An SUV backed into my Tesla Model 3 in the parking lot of a grocery store. Even with my dash cam recording the other driver still tried hard to deny his responsibility. The whole thing was just distraught - dealing with the other lying driver and fighting the case with the insurance company and of course having the car fixed. Mark removed the whole stress away from me after I found him and handed my car over. He doesn't have a shiny large sign saying it's "Tesla Certified" or a nice building with fancy office and customer rest area. But he won me over by giving a truthful, honest and very reasonable estimation without any gimmick or sales pitch like other shops did. As the insurance company was only willing to pay 80% of the repair cost even with all the evidence I provided including the dash video, the true cost matters a lot to me. I am a little late getting my review up but it needed to be done because Mark at Reflections Auto is great! First off, his communication is very prompt. His work and pricing was amazing. I had gotten into an accident and would be paying out of pocket for all of the repairs and Mark was very thorough on getting me the best deals at a reasonable price. I had even taken my car in just days before the accident into another shop and they didn't put the cover back on under my car after the oil change. Mark was amazing and put a new one on at no cost. After bringing my car in for an estimate it was back in the shop in a matter of days and only took a week for all of the repairs. Right after getting my car back I had to make a 6 hour road trip and the car ran perfectly. Took a look at my estimate from the insurance and said the amount was reasonable. Very easy going and loves to talk about his work. Our rear passenger door, the rear fender above the wheel, and bumper was totally scratched up by a careless driver pulling out of a parking spot. We couldn't find him so we ate up our deductible to get it done. The door was already replaced previously about 3 years back by B&S Auto in San Ramon. They did a HORRENDOUS job! I wish we knew about Reflection auto then. The door was a used door (other ins wouldn't pay more) and B&S didn't prep and finish the door properly and also used terrible paint. After B&S completed the job, the paint started peeling off 2 weeks into it. Had a big argument with B&S and the kinder manager stepped in and redid the door free of charge. Fast forward to earlier this year, we noticed the paint was cracking. The clear coat was completely gone. Since the damage this time was on the same door, Mark sanded to bare metal and repainted the whole thing for us. Told us if there is any issue, we can go back to him. He took pictures of the step by step to assure us that the prior issue with B&S would not happen. Also, he performed the work very efficiently.
