Caliber Collision was recommended by Nissan of West Covina where I bought my great New Versa. I had some nail polish splashed on my drivers side door and didn't know how to take off the nail polish without harming the cars coating underneath. I arrived at Caliber in the morning and no sooner that I got there when Edwin started removing the splashed paint. Within about 10 minutes he finished the job and there was no damage to the car door. I recommend Caliber for auto body repair 100%. Thanks guys and you made me a satisfied customer!!!!! read more

I meant to write this last month so I apologize for the delay. I was in Hollywood with a friend and found that someone broke my side mirror when I was away. I called Toyota and they game me an estimate of $165 for the part and labor. However I got a recommendation from a friend and she said to call Caliber Collision. I talked to Oswaldo and he helped me out tremendously!!! He said it was a 10 min job and that he'd pop in the mirror for free! Omg! So I got the part, he installed it in 5 mins and I was on my way! Oswaldo, you are my Hero!!! You saved me time and $ and for that if I ever need any service, you have my business for life! Thank you so much! My contact at work is ending and this helped me and my little one so much! Thank you from the both of us! read more

We went in to get my bf car fixed as he had previously gotten fixed at another caliber collision a few months back and the paint began to crack. At our arrival they made a big deal out of the cracked paint. What happened to lifetime warranty? After making a big deal out of the cracked paint and not wanting to provide us with a rental car, they told us that they couldn't help us and that we had to take it back to the original caliber collision we went to. We moved out of the area that was by the original caliber collision and since they had said we could go to any caliber collision in case of any issues we just went to the closer one by our new house. It was a complete waste of time. read more

They did such an amazing job! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much Jeff for everything. I am so happy with the quick & friendly service. They all took care of my car as if it was their own. They went above & beyond! :) I'm so happy I went to them to take care of my car. read more

I have been a customer of Caliber Collision in Covina for over 10 years. I have a Volkswagen. They are recognized and authorized by Volkswagen of America as a premiere shop. I have my car there for a minor cosmetic issue of which I will get new OEM VW parts. No aftermarket stuff. Thank you Edwin for taking great care of me. I recommend Caliber Collision in Covina. read more

Or Toyota Sienna had minor damage to the rear bumper. There was a decent dent in the corner of the bumper and the side panel of the bumper was separating from the frame so we took it in to get it fixed. The staff at the front desk was efficient and Adolfo (service tech) was AMAZING. He was thorough in explaining everything, connective personally, and was 100% real with us. He said the process would probably take about 2 weeks with approvals, service time, parts arriving, etc. We were without a rental so we were hopscotching between our 2nd car and other family vehicles. He genuinely cared about our situation and made NO PROMISES but said he would try and get the work done sooner. When I came back the 2 days later for something I left in my car, he showed me that he was able to get to get the work started! He had already completed the work but was waiting for the new bumper! I was shocked! He also had them take care of a few scratches on the car so it would look better than I bought it (used from Carmax)! It had also been in a very minor collison (apparently the same as ours) and when he took off the bumper he told me there was other damage that had been partially worked on with the frame. He fixed that too! I got it back in almost half the time I was quoted, didn't pay a penny more than we expected and made a great connection with Adolfo. It had been fully cleaned inside and out and looked amazing and I left with my expectations far surpassed. Thank you so much Adolfo! Thanks for being so compassionate and kind, I'll continue telling people how great our experience was should they ever need your services. read more

honestly very disheartening to write this review as I did enjoy the service that I had received when I first picked and dropped off my car. I picked my car up about a week after dropping it off to get my bumper fixed and took it home happy as it looked beautiful. Started driving it the next day and all these different lights came up on the dash board including brake system lights. Called again and they said to bring it back at 8am and so I did and turns out they weren't even open and luckily a man walked out around 8:45 and I got his attention. He said they probably just needed to reset it and it should be ready in an hour. Drove it to the tech and they said they would call me when it's done. Two hours go by and the tech calls me saying it's not done and it'll probably take a few more hours. It's Monday now and I still never heard back from either the tech or Calliber and so I called to get an update and he said that they transferred it to the dealership on Saturday. Just super annoyed that they did not communicate when they said they would and brought my car to a completely different place. Also the man brought my car to my home and only cared that I wouldn't leave a bad review which made me want to leave one even more. Better communication skills please! read more

Would recommend Caliber in Covina to all my friends and family! Edwin saved me $500 after I suffered an accident at my work. He and his team provided excellent, timely service, and saved me the headache that comes with car damage. They even washed my car before I picked it up! If you need assistance with car repairs, call and ask for Edwin! He is a super star! read more

I brought my Highlander to them for a chemical spot on my hood caused by a leaking pipe in a parking structure. Edwin, the caliber employee who helped me, was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He took my car in the back and gave it a quick buff and the spot came out perfectly. He handed me my keys and said no charge. I tried to offer him a tip and he refused it. WOW! Amazing customer service. You guys now have a new customer. Thank you again Edwin. I know a company of this size would recognize your over the top customer service. I sure did! read more

They stole my charging cord. I decided to choose this location for a body repair after an accident because of good reviews. However, my insurance ended up deeming the vehicle a total loss. At this point I needed to pick up my belongings from the car. This was difficult because I do work full time and I waited to align schedules with my dad so that I'd have a ride there and back and so that he could check out the damage. It must've been about a week since being deemed a total loss. Once I got to my car I saw that my charging cord was missing. The ONLY thing missing. I told the manager and he let me know that since it was towed-in they do keep photos of the vehicle on file any time they get a car. He showed me the photos of my car and my cord was there!! On their property. Under their accountability. He saw the cord as well and tried to offer me a beat up Apple cord. My cord was new, expensive, very durable and had a higher charging voltage. Of course I said no to his offer of a used, beat up cord and his response was "well there's people all around the yard." I don't know if he meant his own staff or he lets the public wander in as they please. Obviously he was unsympathetic and decided that his staff/company carried no responsibility. Overall, PISSED. I know it's only a cord but I already had enough of a loss as it is. read more

Rarely do I take the opportunity to write reviews, however I felt it was important for anyone looking for both excellent repairs and exceptional service to know how amazing Caliber Collison is. I was originally scheduled to take my Lexus in for repairs at Longo but changed my mind after they told me it would take them 3 1/2 weeks to get the job done. As a result, I decided to go with Caliber and they were able to get the job done in 6 days!!! I realize it is truly a team effort and I have no words other than thank you and you'll always have my business. Longo has nothing on Caliber because when you set the bar that high all you can do is take notes..... so take notes LONGO! A huge thank you to Oswaldo who managed my vehicle repairs and provided me with updates every two days, the girls working the front desk who exceeded my expectations with their World Class Service and the driver who took me home who was extremely nice and professional. Keep it up guys! read more

This 3 stars is really because of the way how their manager take care of the problem. My car took it in for repair. Good thing was their manager willing to take care of them. read more

They wasted my time and money. I dropped off my car for repair after being rear-ended only to be told that they refuse to work on it because they found repairs from a past accident. But instead of telling me as soon as possible they waited THREE days just to take of the damn bumper to tell me they weren't going to work on it and that they'll let me know when I can come pick up my car. They never called me, I had to call them on Tuesday and they said "oh it's been ready since Friday, my manager didn't call you?" Obviously he didn't. So not only did they not do anything, they wasted my time and they wasted 8 days worth of my insurances rental coverage! Don't waste your time with a company that doesn't care about customer service. read more

If you have a meeting to go to in 30 minutes, do not read this review, as it'll take a while. Bear with me. Caliber Collision was one of Geico's "preferred" bodyshops when my car was keyed by some a-hole in early August. So I brought my car to the La Brea location in LA, as that one was closest to my house, and I was told I'd have my car back by week's end. Yay! I did not know the adventure they had in store for me. A few days later, I received a call from the La Brea location, informing me that my car was "too high tech" for them, and it needed to be towed to the Covina location, which supposedly is a specialty shop for the kind of vehicle I have. So this would delay the return of my car until the next week, but Geico is paying for my rental, so I just accept my fate and move on with my life. After all, that !d!ot tRump is president, so we clearly have bigger problems. The glorious day of the return of my car came the following week, and how happy was I to get it back! Until I tried to open the door, AND THE WHOLE EFFING DOOR HANDLE CAME RIGHT OUT, WIRES DANGLING AND EVERYTHING. So..... I was PISSED. This was also before a weekend, so I had to drive around with a f*cked up door handle all weekend long, which would come out every other time I opened the driver side door, and I had to shove it back in. Super irritating. They came back to tow my car back to Covina to fix the door handle the next week, which, they would later claim, came out because "the pins were worn out." This is of course complete bull, because I have less than 6000 miles on the car, and it's just over a year old. This is a BMW, not a Yugo, so... no. I'm not buying it. But whatever. At this point, Caliber is paying for my rental, so I don't care so much. But I DO want my car back, as my rental is a POS compared to my dope-ass ride, and I much prefer driving my own car. Be that as it may, they had to wait for a new door handle to come in and install it. This took several days, yet again. The car finally comes back, they assured me that all was copacetic, and I'm thrilled that the handle doesn't come right out when I open the door, so I'm pleased. The tow guy takes my rental back to Covina, and I park my car for the day. Upon my return to the car after work, I realize, TO MY ASTONISHMENT, that the driver side door will unlock, BUT NOT OPEN, so I HAVE TO CRAWL INTO THE CAR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE!! Once opened from the inside, it can also be opened from the outside, but once locked and unlocked again via fob, IT WILL NOT OPEN. HOW DID THEY NOT NOTICE THIS!!!??? At this point I'm ENRAGED that these Caliber people apparently do not test or check their work. With my blood pressure peaking at 160 over 135, I call the shop and rip into them for like a good 10 minutes straight. Of course, the guy assures me that he tested the door himself, and it worked fine. Apparently no one thought to MAYBE lock the door and see if they can still open it after it's unlocked again, as that must've been too much to ask. So what happens next? They send the tow guy back (we're like close friends by now) to pick up my car yet again, and leave me with the same sh!tty rental to drive around. This is now the SECOND TIME I had to send the car back there because of their rampant incompetence. The next day, the guy calls me to inform me that they're apparently not equipped to figure out why the door won't open, so they're now sending it TO BMW TO GET LOOKED AT! But hey, there's good news! While there, they'll also do the service that's apparently coming up, so I won't have to spend my time on that! Yay! Aren't I the lucky one!? Days pass, as evidently servicing my car and deciphering the mysteries of the unlocked but not opening door is befuddling to the best of them. Then yesterday I finally, FINALLY, take possession of my car, handle fixed. BUT WAIT! There's more! When they picked up the car again for the second time, I had just recharged it, and it had 85 miles range. But when I got it back, it had 18. EIGHTEEN!! It begs the question: what are these guys doing with my car that whole time? Sitting in it all day, high beams on, AC blasting full tilt, radio cranked to 11? How thrilled would you be if you took your car to the shop, tank almost full, and when you got it back, it's almost empty? I've had it parked while we were on vacation for three weeks before, and the charging level was THE SAME when we got back, so... what the actual F&^%? On the plus side, the car DOES look and feel brand new, so if you're looking to wait for weeks to get your car fixed with various other things in disarray along the way, then this is the spot for you! I, however, WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. read more

I would go back again any time. From the second I walked in the young ladies in the front were energetic and very kind and helpful to and everyone waiting. Where do I start??? I took my 2008 Chrysler 300 SRT8 to caliber Collisions because, well, that's where I was told to take it since my employer has a "business relationship " with them after my car was damaged by another employee. The damage to the vehicle was minimal and should have been an easy fix if you know anything about the costs of automotive body repairs. To make a long story not so long, I get my car back, everything seems to look great. I pull up the golf course to go hit some golf balls and as I am parking the bumper literally "taps" the parking block, not drive over, but taps it and what do you know...? The whole damn bumper falls off!!! At that point, I had some concerns as to why would the bumper would have just fallen off, this is my 2nd 300 like this and never have I had this occur. I drove my car home and then on the way to work the next day all of the undercarriage parts ripped off while I was going 75 mph on the freeway...Needless to say, I was and I am super pissed off because what do you think should have happened? Take ownership that the work that was done is not up to up standards and re do the work to make the customer happy right? No, I get blamed for destroying the car and told that they "want to help me" but they are basically feeding me a bunch of bullshit to show that they making an effort when in reality they know this isnt what I want. At this point i met with Sergio, the area rep, he took the car back to the shop and "buttoned it up temporarily " which last all of one day until the bumper completely ripped off and is now no longer usable...now I'm told that "I" have to buy a new bumper and they will not cover any of it!!! LETS GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING, WOULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED IF THE JOB WAS DONE RIGHT THE 1ST TIME? WOULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED IF THE PROPER PLASTIC MOUNTING TABS WERE INSTALLED AND NOT SOME TABS THAT ARE MADE FOR THE INTERIOR DOOR PANEL? In order for my bumper to be secure, I installed the right parts,, which haven't failed yet until I get my car to Avalon collision Center where I know the job will get done properly. OH AND BY THE WAY, I STILL HAVE TO PAY $500 TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE DEDUCTIBLE...SO, I GET CRASHED IN TO AND I HAVE TO PAY $500...THANKS GUYS and to the guy that asked me to myself in "his" shoes....I WOULD NEVER PUT MY FEET IN YOUR SHOES, BECAUSE THEY'D GET DIRTY JUST LIKE CALIBER COLLISION DID ME!!! YOU SHOULD LEARN WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY LIKE SO YOU KNOW HOW TO HANDLE SITUATIONS LIKE THIS. THANKS AGAIN read more

Then my car died coming home from work. Had to take back again. Then gas float had to be replaced, then they said the gas tank. When they had my car it was always over a week long, i was the one always having to call & get status. As of today my gas tank sensor is still jacked up & called insurance to refer me somewhere else. PLUS, WHEN I GOT MY CAR BACK THERE WAS GREASY CRAP ON MY SEATS LIKE WHEN THEY TEST DROVE, AND BACK SEAT ON MY TOP HANDLE. I HAD TO GET MY SEATS SHAMPOO'D. NEVER EVER AGAIN. read more
