Long review but worth the read. I brought my car here since it was near my home and worked with my insurance. I need quite a bit of work done from the back because of an accident so they had my car about 3 1/2 weeks. Ricardo Salazar was in charge of my claim. When I pulled up To retrieve my car I immediately noticed my hood was scratched. Ricardo said he couldn't confirm or deny it happened there since they worked on the back and don't take pictures of the front, but that he would take care of it for me by "buffing them out". Once I walked around my car the work on the back was fine. Got in my car after saying I would return to fix the scratches they left. (I didn't like that Ricardo said I would receive a survey and when I got to the part about being my car back if I could "not ding him for that since he's gonna fix it to give him 10s across the board") I'm not a liar so no thank you I rather just not do the survey. Once I was got home I saw my display screen was completely trashed and chipped so many scratches. I was shocked, and both my sun visors are wobbly and loose! Then I took another detailed walk around my car to find that the rubber piece on my windshield was lifted and started to come off another piece by the rear had exposed glue and is uneven and also lifting and lastly I can see buffer marks all over the trunk which is the whole thing they replaced. I took photos and emailed them to Ricardo. After talking to him on the phone he said he doesn't know how that happened but I could bring the car in for his management to check out. In the end it took another month of him "waiting for the PARTS (plural) to come in" I took my car in this past Monday and he only replaced ONE part which was the rubber by my windshield and they used a rag "to buff out the screen with wax" they kept telling me the screen looks like it has moisture and they aren't sure what the detailer used. THEN REPLACE THE WHOLE DISPLAY! I don't understand what is so hard about fixing the problem you caused. I asked him what exactly did you do then??? Is this temporary ??? He said "well no BUT if it comes back just bring it back and we will buff it out" NOOOOO I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO KEEP WASTING MY TIME COMING BACK! And they left packed of lens cleaner!? For what to maintain your shoddy work?! So now I'm currently trying to contact corporate and leave this review. I would never let that team near my car again for the fact that it is now devalued and far cry from the condition I kept it in. I'm very dissatisfied with the lack of care to my car and it's current state. Don't bring your car here. read more

My first experience at Caliber Collision was not the best. They did not update me on time and left me calling constantly. I had my car repaired and was missing my license plate, plus my keys were left without buttons to press on. That was my first experience with the old management that needed to go back in 2022. Fast forward to 2024: I went in with a car leak from where the previous management had repaired. The new management heard me out, knew my car had a warranty, and did not question anything. They took my car in and gave me a rental. I did not need to ask for updates because the new management was on top of it, and I had my car back within a week. Rigo was a very good tech and told me everything I needed to know. He even heard me out about my key and fixed it without asking for a penny. I am thrilled to send this message and say this new management is the best. They took very good care of my car and left me a happy customer! I had the worst experience with them . I gave my Mercedes EV for repair , they took 6 wks long to give it back , they were not professional to keep me up to date with the progress of repair , until I complained to GM Finally when I got my car back , it had only 70 miles left to drive , They did not bother to inform me about that either & when I called to complain the manager did not seem to care . They also had increased the repair estimate later. Will not recommend them . read more

I just want to give a huge shoutout to Albert and Christine, who made my car repair process so easy. I had an accident on 7/11 and dropped my car off at the Caliber in Glendale, CA. They mentioned the BMW experts are based out of West Covina and they'd be towing my car there. Albert was assigned to me and called me every Tues and Thurs with an update. If I had any questions, Christine @ the front desk answered promptly and was always friendly + ready to answer my questions. Thank you for your great customer service. Also, my car is a 2018 BMW X2 and some of the parts are not available because the car came out last year. Albert kept me informed that they would need to be ordered from Germany and it may take a little longer to finish my car. Somehow, they finished the same day it was initially promised. I was also able to leave my Enterprise rental car w/ Albert when I picked up my car. He returned it for me and I got a call from Enterprise the same day. Talk about going above and beyond! Worst experience ever!! I was told my car can be picked up in about two weeks. Caliber kept on telling me " your car will be ready to pick up either today or tomorrow." However, it takes more than a month to pick up my car. Caliber blamed on the insurance company did not respond to the documents that they sent , and the estimator who was incharge for my car had left the company. Therefore, it took longer to get my car done. First of all, I confirmed with Caliber that they had sent whatever information was needed to my insurance company before I contacted my insurance company. However, I was told by my insurance company that they did not receive information from Caliber. This kind of situation had happened several times，and each time I had arranged a conference call in between insurance company and Caliber OR kept calling them individually to confirm whatever needs to be done. Second of all, please don't blame on the in-charge estimator who already left your company that caused the delay of getting my car done. Your employee was representing your company, and it is your responsibility to arrange another employee to handle my car in a proper timely manner. Overall experience with Caliber is unpleasant and frustrated. I regret to select this bodyshop. read more

TLDR = brought my Mercedes in after an accident. I was kept updated on my car's status and it even finished earlier than expected. Car looked brand new after they fixed the bumper. Exterior = 3/5 It is a little hard to see the location, at least for me. Parking was a little rough - you either have like a couple spaces literally in the driveway if the location or you have to find street parking. So if you come with someone who will give you a ride, they may have trouble finding parking. I can see when it gets busy how parking may be an issue. Interior = 4/5 As soon as you enter you are in the waiting room with chairs lined around the perimeter of the wall. There are drinks and snacks right in front, and the service desks are to the right. You take your paper work from the service desk, complete it at a perimeter chair, then drop it back off. It is a little tight since some of the chairs are lined right next to the processing desk so you literally sit behind people trying to fill out information and talking with the service individual. Service = 5/5 Everything went pretty smoothly. I would say if it took time, it was because I was asking so many questions to which the front desk lady was patient with. When I was assigned a contact for the repairs, I was paired with Adolfo H. I am so glad I was because he was amazing. From the beginning he was very down to earth and kept things simple for me since I'm not very car savvy. He also was able to build trust with me where I felt my car was in good hands. Throughout the process he would keep me updated on my car's status and was easily accessible via phone when I had any questions. Order = 5/5 My Mercedes had to get a bumper fix. It's good and looks like the accident never happened. Overall = 4/5 My experience was pretty simple and I liked the people that worked with me to get this process completed. Slight ehh points with the location, but not anything that would keep me away. I was worried since I was bringing my Mercedes in and I had heard horror stories of my family bringing their car in for repairs in general and Mercedes specific to other stores and it not going so well. Have no fear, this location is Mercedes certified! My car came out fine and cleaner than when I brought it in. If I ever need repairs for the body again, I would come back here and work with Adolfo. Hint = if you have a specialty car, check to ensure the location can work on your car. Your insurance can help with this or you can just call the location. I recently had my Truck repaired for a front end collision. The repair job was messy, left paint over spray and did not replace numerous bolts that wete holding the bumper. I Had return days after to report that my head light and directional HD light bulbs were missing and were replaced with old and dirty light bulbs. The manager (Mike) was at first understanding, later was upset with me for posting a negative remark on their company web site that they continously emailed me. Mike the manager was so upset with my review and told me that my name was going to be paced on their company data base to refuse any future business with me. I notified AAA and they attempted to assist but were no help. A caliber representative named Steve (District manager) was supposed to contact me and took him almost a week to finally call me and made a lame excuse that the manager was new and shouldn't have told me that any future business with me would be refused. By far the best place to bring your vehicle if you ever find yourself in an unfortunate situation that you need a body shop. The manager Edwin has the shop in tip top shape, and makes sure that anybody that comes through his door leaves happy with his shop. He has experienced painters and technicians that makes sure that their work lives up to their standards. I was very fortunate to have been recommended to this shop after an unfortunate experience at a previous shop, but my AAA insurance said Edwin is the guy to go to. Not disappointed. Have my car worked on back in April I did the work did a good job but had some other issues after I had to call back six times asked for managers and my service advisor and nobody is handling. I took my car in for an estimate with an approved AAA insurance claim. Edwin took photos and told me he will have the estimate in the system and to AAA in a couple of days. One week goes by and the adjuster did not get the estimate. I called the shop and was told that Edwin will call me back. Never got a call. The adjuster and I ended up calling the shop together. We were told to give them a couple of days and the estimate will be uploaded. Another week goes by and still nothing. I am not having to go to another shop. Do not waste your time here. read more
