I'm a repeat customer of this location and want to first say, that the appointment process and the front desk process went perfectly and both deserve five stars. My disappointment came with the price estimate process for the work needing to be done. I went in today for an out-of-pocket repair on one door skin that I considered minor. I felt like the adjuster was trying to oversell me when he started talking about replacing the entire door, and I also felt like he was gaslighting me when he claimed it was because of safety issues. Very poor customer service abrasive personal, basically said they didn't need more work as they were already busy.

This is the absolute WORST PLACE I have ever been to. Aside from a GREAT employee named Brook who worked at the front desk, I had an extremely hard time working with these people here. Below is a chronological list of everything that happened the past couple of months. -Car is wrecked on November 19th -Thursday December 12th, go to pick up car the first time. Notice a taillight was was out. Sent back to fix. -Friday December 13th, go to pick up car again, headlight and front bumper was never replaced. Sent to back to fix it. Involved the manager. Tells us it will be ready by the following Wednesday. -Wednesday December 18th, pick up car, everything looked good. -Sunday December 29th, tail light that they replaced goes out. -Friday January 3rd, taken time Caliber to replace tail light. Get car back the same day, everything looks good. -Saturday January 11th, weather liner on back passenger side window, comes out from rolling down window. Notice passenger side front and back windows act weird(rolling up when told to go down, rolling down when told to roll up). *I start looking very detailed at the car and the statement, they did not fix multiple items on the list that they charged for, for example the first thing on the list was never replaced, marks on my tail light where it looked like they just pried the light out of the socket, overspray on multiple parts of the car, tint didn't line up on the windows, weather liner on back passenger door was not put in correctly- full vertical strip was out of the track in between the big and little window, the weather liner where the window stops at the top was folded in on itself, metal underneath where the weather liner is supposed to go had small dents all over as if they used some tool to hit the door. -Monday January 13th, taken up to caliber, after looking at car they tell me to bring it up on Tuesday for a full day. -Tuesday January 14th, drop off car at 8AM, receive car at 6PM. Look over the windows and notice the top horizontal weather strip was STILL folded in on itself. I pointed it out and the Insurance Advisor started pulling it out with her fingernails and set it on the metal door correctly. ---------- Along with the list above, they failed to keep me updated on my car. I didn't receive any calls the whole time my car was being fixed, and I had to call after weeks of no communication to see when my car would be ready. Then, on the days they told me to come pick my car up, I had to consistently call them every couple of hours (9am telling me it would be ready by 11am, no call, called at 11:30am still not ready but will be ready at 1, no call, called at 1:30, still not ready and tell me it will be ready by 3! NO CALL AGAIN. call again at 3:30 and tell me it will be ready by 5) and this happened multiple times on the days I needed to pick up my car. I don't think enough words will be able to tell y'all how terrible of an experience I had. I also feel like since I am a 19yr old female, they treated me just as that-someone young who won't make a fuss about their work because I'm so young. WRONG. I don't normally get mad about things and I let a lot slide but this is absolutely ridiculous. read more

I filed a claim with Caliber through my insurance and from the moment I walked in the door, I was immediately assisted by the receptionist (Brittany). She was friendly, efficient and confident. Their waiting lobby is comfortable and they offer complimentary coffee and popcorn. Within five minutes, Jacob came to look at my car. He did a thorough inspection and gave me a solid estimate, and he was very attentive. Caliber handled getting my rental set up which included the rental company picking me up, and in the end contacting them to retrieve the rental once my car was finished. In a perfect world, I'd love to say that my car was perfect when I went to get it, but it wasn't. Adam, the manager, was so attentive and professional about my observations - which were minor, but important - and he immediately took responsiblity and resolved to fix them. My car was ready 48 hours later which was still ahead of schedule. Adam, is a great manager. He's fair and has a great sense of humor. More importantly, both he and Jacob and the entire team care and want you to be satisfied with the work they produce. So, I came out to vandalism on my car, and my insurance suggested Caliber to get it fixed. Having to have any unexpected body work done is awful, but add in an anxiety disorder and this past week and a half has been hellish. Caliber made it as easy as possible. They have a deal with the Enterprise down the road, who will pick you up and you can drop the rental off at Caliber and they will come get it. As for the work, my car looks brand new where they worked on it. It's beautiful. I missed my car so much. And I don't know why people were complaining about the time, they were able to finish my car in less than 72 hours. We had talked about finishing it up next week, but they are awesome and got it finished today, even though they looked to be slammed with cars. :) I'm recommending them to everyone. I hope I never have to see them again, but if I'm in that position again, I'd go right back to them. read more

If you care about your car's finish, DO NOT take your damaged vehicle to Caliber Collision. Almost every major insurance company recommends this company. I suspect it's because they have a formal client communication policy and they turn repairs around relatively quickly and inexpensively. In my opinion they either use inexperienced labor or they're so rushed (because they're so busy with all that auto insurance referral work) they can't do a quality job. In two separate minor collisions, I took my cars here. First time was 2004 or 5. The vehicle was delivered to me in a filthy state but it was still easy to see problems with the refinish work. There was apparently NO quality assurance check on the work as my untrained eyes found problems immediately. The car was re-repaired under warranty to my satisfaction but still came back dirty. Second time, another minor collision repair. I wouldn't have gone back to Caliber except it's close to my house and I was about to return the car to the lessor, so I wasn't too concerned if it didn't come out "perfect". Same program: car came back filthy and the finish was obviously flawed. This time the flaw was not a minor problem; it covered much of the refinished area and would have been EASILY detected by a quick Q/A review. If you are a car enthusiast and you take the time to wax/polish your own car or have it professionally detailed, stay away from Caliber Collision. Ask your detailer where to go if you have the unlucky need for collision repair. read more

Was involved in an accident with rear end damage recently. Took it to Caliber Colleyville and what was promised to be repaired in one week was still ongoing 4 weeks later. Fiancee picked up the vehicle and didn't inspect the repairs which turned out to be a big mistake. The workmanship was the worst I have ever seen from a repairer. Internal panels were glued back together with glue residue seeping down from the joint. Repair shop dust all over inside panels in the rear compartment and doors, rear door seal bulging as incorrectly fitted, suspect rear bumper lower one side, tape residue left across back window and rear wiper where they had taped the wiper to the glass for repairs. Car is at end of lease and no time for return for proper repair. Overall this business is a disgrace. Would never go back there. read more

I feel like it wouldn't be an auto repair if one or two things didn't go as planned. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with the manager Doug when bringing my car to caliber. While we had a few obstacles to over come with my vehicle, Doug was a huge help. He truly went above and beyond for me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the repairs done to my vehicle. About 3 months after the accident I was having some tire trouble. I contacted Doug and he insisted I bring it back in to have a second look. Instead of just a second look Doug took my car to Mercedes to get a third opinion from the experts and had my tire fixed so I would have no more issues. Needed to get some bodywork repair to my car that had recently been in an accident. Our insurance company, Ameriprise Insurance, only had 7 preferred options. We chose Caliber based on the ratings here. I called and setup an appointment. While on the way, i got stuck in traffic and called to let them know i will be late. THey were courteous and accomodating. When i got there i met with the appraiser who was friendly and did a good job of evaluating and explaining the damage. He promised to send the estimate to both me and the insurance company which he did the very next morning. So far so good. now comes the bad part. After the insurance company approved the estimate, i called to understand the estimate and setup a time to drop off the car. The lady who picked up the phone was not helpful at all. The appraiser was out that day but she refused to find someone else who could help me understand the estimate. When i asked her help to understand the estimate and the time it would take to fix, she could not answer my questions, was rude and non-commital on the time it would take to fix the car. I asked for a manager or owner as i realized that i would not be able to get what i wanted with her and she refused to call anyone. I hung up called the claim agent who explained everything to me and found me another body shop. I asked the claim agent to not put their customers through what i have gone through by keeping this shop in their recommended list. She said that there is an escalation process that she will send my complaint to at Ameriprise. I give this shop 2 stars for the good service initially but i would not do business with someone who hires a rude unhelpful front desk person who doesnt even try to help when a customer calls or finds someone who can help. read more
