Took it back in on Saturday at 9:30am and got a text 2 hours later saying it was ready. He showed me in the garage with his bright lights and I was blown away - literally couldn't even find where it was. He even took care of another small crease on the rear quarter panel that I hadn't even seen and applied some touch paint to a small chip on my front bumper I had asked if he could help me with. I don't know where to begin! Jose's Auto Body does absolutely amazing work! Let me tell you my…read morestory! I took my 25 year old van that had been in a wreck to him for service. It needed the radiator support bracket, a new hood, a new drivers side front fender and a headlight. Plus a part of the top drivers side frame needed to be straightened. The hood was missing completely and the front fender was beyond repair! Jose searched and searched and found ONE Plymouth Voyager that was a 1999, the same as my vehicle. That was a miracle! The hood needed work, but Jose was so happy to find it, and he said, oh well, if that's what we have to deal with, I'll make it work. So, he restored my van that was otherwise in great shape with only 108,000 original miles. The van had been garaged its whole life. I know if I turned it in on my insurance, they would have totaled it out due to its age and they would have killed an otherwise very good vehicle that still has a lot of useful life in it. Jose also mixes his own paint colors and so he was able to match my color so perfectly that you could never tell that it was ever in an accident. The color was a deep purple. He did an excellent job for me, for an excellent price, and made me very happy that he saved my vehicle!!! I will continue to refer him to other people and he will be my "go to" autobody shop forever! Why would I ever go to anyone else. Trust me, if you use Jose for your autobody work, you will not be disappointed! And, he even went above and beyond because after I paid him for the work, he noticed that the radiator was leaking and he spent another 30 minutes figuring out why. He replaced the radiator cap and noticed that it was leaking around the hose attachment that leads to the overflow tank and he replaced the hose clamp with a smaller one and that stopped the leak! He did that free gratis!!! I'm telling you, he's the man for the job! I am one very happy customer and they deserve an AAA+.

While not structural problems, they were more than a "nuisance" and I toyed with idea of getting the damage professional repaired. I obtained four estimates from reputable shops in north Texas, but all recommended replacing the panels on both sides of the bed, which would be cost prohibitive because of the truck's age and supply chain delays and expenses. While discussing the issue with Martin at Tops Auto Trim (which I've used and trusted for several years), he mentioned an associate that owns a smaller body repair shop in Farmersville, TX: Chico's Collision Repair. I contacted Junior, the owner of Chico's, and obtained very reasonable cost and repair time estimates. I dropped my Z71 off late morning on Monday and picked it up that Friday, as promised: Body work completed and repainted as promised, at the estimated cost! I COULD NOT be happier with the workmanship and attention to detail at Chico's. Junior's team set about preparing the damaged sites and effecting repairs before I left the shop on Monday and completed the jobs on time, and at the stated estimated cost ... which was at least 50% less that the other lowest bid! Chico's has my highest, unqualified recommendation for auto/truck body work. They are clearly a cut above their competition!
