This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Took 21/2 weeks to get an estimate and after 3 - 4 calls with no call back I had to personally show up to get it to then find out 2 weeks later from my insurance company that it was totaled. In that timeframe, I never received another communication from them. I was never told they were understaffed, which is the excuse I got or I would have selected a different location. Now, after $1,500 out of pocket for a rental car, Caliber agreed to pay 1 week of the rental without letting me know anything. After it was all said and done, the only communication I had with the guy was the one time I drove up there after never getting a call back for weeks. read more

Went in on September 23 for an estimate and made repair appointment for November 15. Received a call on October 13 that they were canceling my appt due to not being able to take anymore Allstate claims for the month. How are you over your quota when I was booked a month and a half in advance?They should have known if they were full. I wasted my time and scheduled a day off from work for each appt. When I called back to question I asked to speak to a manager and he was extremely rude. I believe they got a bigger repair job (more money) and cancelled me. I have had repairs done at this shop twice before but I will never do business with them again read more

Had a good experience with these guys after I got in a small accident when someone cut me off on the highway (hello Richmond drivers). They were very up front about things may be delayed as far as parts when I dropped off the car. The minor repairs were fixed within a matter of days. Unfortunately I needed one part that took almost a month to get. The only issue with this is I let my rental car limit for my insurance about a week before my car was finished which isn't their fault but still not fun. Anyway it's back and looks great! read more

we hit a deer in April 2024. They managed to get to my car in June 2024. We got my car back, but there was a piece of trim that they did not fix. They apologized and told me they would order the part, and that they should have it there within a week or two. a week or two later, they apologized and said they had forgotten to order the part and they would get it to us in another week or two and actually made an appointment for us to come in. We brought the car there on the appointment only to find out they had the part, but they hadn't painted it and could not install it at that time either. We have an hour each way to get to this particular location and actually had to take the morning off in order to make that appointment in which they couldn't be bothered to fix their mistake they apologize profusely and told us they would call us back the following week. It is now September 2024 and we cannot get them to return a call despite repeatedly telling us that they will call us back by the end of the day. This is a lousy company with lousy customer service and I will not recommend them. I should not still be fighting to get a stupid piece of trim replaced on my car for months. This is clearly an example of the quality of work and the quality of customer service that you can expect from this company at least at this location. read more

The customer service is flawless. Everyone was really nice, knowledgeable and put my mind at ease when leaving my vehicle in their care. Very professional staff. They took care of my rental before I walked through the door. A quote was provided through a first inspection. Once I dropped off the car, they did a thorough inspection and found more items to fix that was not visible. I do not recommend this business. After getting into an accident, it is already a headache and they do not make the process better. I took my car here to get an estimate and was waiting for a date to drop off for repairs. I waited two weeks and called back and they told me they cannot repair my vehicle. If I didn't call, I would have not been aware of their intent of not repairing my vehicle. The general manager got on the phone and used a rude tone of basically telling me oh well. To avoid the headache and nasty customer service, take your vehicle some where else. This location specifically do not care about customers nor providing great service. read more

I had light body damage due to a deer. These guys were great! They had a rental there waiting for me and gave me regular updates. The repair looks great. Chevy went on strike during the time of my repairs, which caused a small delay in getting my car fixed based on their preliminary estimate. (They had a harder time getting parts.). However, no complaints from me. They were upfront with me and worked hard around the strike to get my car fixed. I'm a happy customer. I recommend them to everyone. read more

I had my vehicle towed there and they had it for 2 months , when I went to pick up my vehicle it looked awful, the front bumper was set more to one side, plastic cover over bumper wasn't secure and floppy, the lower control arm was replaced with a used control arm that had grooves cut in it that appeared to be from a grinder, i was very unhappy and couldn't believe they would do such awful work. They said they would fix it but have to wait for parts to come in and take it back. I asked if they could do return my deductible or anything for all this inconvenience and was just told "NO" shoddy work and horrible customer service. read more

I just picked up my car from Caliber. This is my third experience with them and as always I left with a smile on my face and total confidence that my car issues are resolved. The entire staff are always friendly and willing to answer my questions regarding my car service. On this particular visit, Adrian handled my car service from start to finish. Someone hit my car while I was at lunch one day and did not know who it was as they left no info for me. I was very satisfied with the repairs except the SRS light was on the car when I picked it up and they were not able to fix it as they did not have the right equipment to do so. The car needed inspection as it had expired while they had it so my mechanic fixed it and charged me around $80.00. I called Caliber for them to reimburse me, took a survive and voiced my complaint with no results. Someone from the national Office called to discuss this then someone from the location called but I was never reimbursed, so I am not going to use them ever again. Took my car there after it was rear ended. Took a month to fix it....they lied and used bondo when they said it was all brand new parts. Even billed the insurance company for "new" parts. But they used salvage parts and plaster. Paint didnt match...and after THREE times having it back in their shop, the trunj leaked. They lied said it was finw..I got sick of them and took it to Whitten brothers collision center. They DID you BRAND NEW Lexus parts and it never leaked. BEWARE OF CALLIBER...THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL BROWN NOSERS AND THAT IS ALL THEY ARE GOOD AT. They even made fun of my wife behind her back and we heard them. I confronted them and they denied it. The people here are really nice in person, however over the phone they're very short. Nevertheless, I took my car to this shop because it was the recommended mechanic through Geico. Initially I felt good leaving my car in the hands of the preferred shop, but the experience was truly a living hell. So, after dropping my car off, I put the key in the drop box, and I received my first scare in the form of a phone call telling me no key was found, and my car was not where I parked it. In fact the car was in the shop and someone moved the key but I should have received a call like that. I was very worried thinking my car was stolen. Then all in the same day I received another call from a mechanic explaining to me that my car was a total loss. This was on a Friday just before the shop closed. I called back to only get the voice mail. I had a rental car and decided to go to the shop because my car was expected to be fix in two weeks. I also figured something was not being accurately reported to me about the cost of repairing my car. A two week repair turned into multiple total loss mistakes which ultimately turned into me not paying as much to get my car back but the time wasted left me with a 1900.00 rental car charge. I actually went to the shop and saw my car at the shop when it was supposed to be towed else where to be fixed. That didn't happen. And I just want to tell everyone to be careful, because this shop is not a good one. The worst feeling was getting my car back filthy. After being this to the attention of the claims adjuster--he explained to me that the shop and his relationship isn't the same because of their inability to claim responsibility in this situation. Part of me believe they're all responsible for my stress and monetary disposition. I FELT EXPENDABLE AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. I was brought to Caliber because my bumper was nearly turn off by a reckless driver. When I went to Caliber, my experience was wonderful. Everyone greeted me and took care of me without hesitation. I quickly conducted a walk thru of the work, they let me know how long it would take and before I knew it I was signing the rental car documents and I was off. They kept me updated daily and finished on time, as promised. I returned the rental car the next day. They answered all the questions I had and overall it was a great experience. I was told many conflicting things about my car. I think the biggest issue I had was dealing with the rudest manager I have ever met. My car was fixed but only after speaking to the regional manager. The different stories that was told to me made me not trust these guys at all!!! They gave me one quotebut then found out when my insurance company gave me a couple hundred dollars more they wanted to increase the price. The manager followed me and my husband out to the parking lot to start a fight with us. He was very argumentative! He recorded our phone call on his cell phone which makes me believe he's had a lot of issues in the past. He accused me of insurance fraud. I promise you I am not one to post negative reviews but after the treatment we received by the manager at the store I feel like everyone needs to know what kind of service they provided. They may have done some good things in the past for some other customers but we received the worst service imaginable. I found out that he is the manager only because his father-in-law got him the job. That doesn't make you qualified to take care of customers. I am with Geico Insurance, which they are intertwined with Caliber. I go to get my car repaired after an accident. I leave my belonging in the car. They went thru my trunk and I've come to the conclusion that there were missing items from my trunk, mostly fireworks. When I bring it up to the manager, James, he claims "he knows the person who worked on my car, he could 'assure' me he wouldn't do that." Sorry to say, I observed my car before dropping it off. Not just that, but I had to go back THE DAY BEFORE to grab paperwork and other left items where I still saw my items still in the vehicle. I personally would recommend, if you must go here to CLEAR your car of valuables, before leaving in their possession. read more
