I used to love Caliber until this location. It started before the repair. It clearly says on the top of their entry documents that only the customer can authorize repairs. Well, they started repairs without my approval because my insurance company approved the quote. My insurance company was under the impression I approved it on site. Nope! I never even got to see the estimate or understand what damage was done to my car. After following up like a psycho, I finally got my hands on it and then approved the repair. I should have known this was the beginning. The original timeframe they gave me went and passed without any communication. I had to follow up several times, asking when my car would be done. I guess the parts were late, but no one felt the need to update me. Then the bumper finally did come in and they took their sweet time getting it installed. Turns out it was the wrong bumper for my car. They didn't notice it until I was called to come pick up the car. The only good news from this is that the car was put back together so I could at least drive it around town while waiting for the new bumper. WHICH TOOK OVER 8 WEEKS. Do you think this facility called me and let me know when the new bumper was going to come in? Nope! Just like the rest of their communications, they are non-responsive to email and only call you back at bizarre hours.... After you have to call and harass them for news. We literally waited weeks and had to follow up several times with the manager at this location. When we finally got them to respond, they let us know the bumper had actually been there for a couple weeks and they just never got around to painting it. Another couple days went by and they didn't call me back like they said they would to let me know if the painter got his head out of his butt to paint the parts. When we did finally pick the car up, there was already a scratch on the bumper they replaced, and there are scratches on the metal quarter panels on both sides of my car where you could they pried off my old bumper with little tools. It's a brand new car, so this blows. Obviously, I'm not letting this facility fix their wrongdoings. Hopefully the corporate office will respond and make this right. read more

I had an accident and had to go through the other person's insurance to get my car fixed. I tried talking to the insurance company but they didn't want to cover much and were really hard to deal with so I decided to just bring my car to Caliber Collision. The whole experience was seamless. They made sure my car got all the repairs it actually needed and it was all done in a timely manner. Worst customer service ever!! The manager double talks her way and won't answer questions then becomes very rude and condescending. Went to pick up my car and I could notice within seconds that the hood was raised from the bumper. When I asked questions to the people who work there "does that look right to you" all of them pretended they did not see anything or it looked perfect. Had to call the insurance adjuster to come out and that was the only way for them to fix the issue. Do not waste your time at this location. read more

This is the Caliber Collision that's affiliated with Travelers insurance that's closest to Woodland Hills. They open even before their published time and are gracious if you're early. I love that they work closely with Enterprise Rentals on Sherman Way so that getting in and out of a rental while your car is in the shop in super easy. They also have hot coffee and a clean facility while you wait, which isn't long. Now what they can work on: I opted into their status update notification via email and text. I got an estimated time that was grossly wrong by over a week, which was a HUGE inconvenience, planning my day around to pick up my car before they close, and then having to re-plan again. I had to call each day overdue for another update. And a few times when I called, leaving a message for a call back, I didn't get a call back. One suggestion is to look into Enterprise employee training for Caliber Collision. As much as I love Enterprise customer service pretty consistently, this is the 4th Caliber Collision I've worked with where the staff doesn't look enthused to be there. Oh, and when you answer the phone, it would be helpful to announce your name. read more

I was really upset that I had to get my car fixed after a piece of plywood shattered my windshield and side panel. My insurance Geico got me an appointment the next morning at Caliber Collision. I was happily greeted by Junior (Jr.). He explained how the morning was going to go and I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes! I was shocked how quickly but thorough he was. Someone broke into my car, busted my lock and sliced my car battery as a result of the car alarm going off. My car was towed to Caliber Collision. Thank GOD it was towed there and not some other place. My battery was repaired, my busted locked was fixed, and to my surprised, my car got a cleaning which was a nice little touch to brighten my day, ESPECIALLY since it was already miserable from having the situation take place in the first place. Repairs for a scratch on my door came in a week behind schedule, and when I got my car back, I found that the gas tank door wouldn't open - because they'd left a giant wad of painter's tape on the inside, preventing the cover from being released (I had to pry it off with a screwdriver). And finally, when I dropped the rental car off with the understanding that they'd drive it to Enterprise the next day, they left it parked overnight on the curb in an illegal zone and *I* ended up having to pay both the ticket fine *and* a fee to Enterprise, totaling up to almost $100. Nice people but way too many mistakes and no seeming attempt to try and make it right, after weeks of hounding them and Enterprise with phone calls. And guys: a complimentary car wash is not going to make it up to me. I regret that I won't be using these guys again in the future. read more

So I come back to my parked car only to find that both the front and rear doors have been hit really hard, obviously by idiots opening their car doors! Like most of us, I was just going to live with it for a while. The passenger door however was smacked so hard it went right down to the metal so I knew I was going to have to deal with this immediately So I called my insurance carrier Geico and made the arrangements to take the car in on Monday morning. They arranged a rental with Enterprise and would drive me over there. 9AM Monday morning I drive in and immediately I'm approached with the enthusiasm of a long lost relative. A Geico claims adjuster is there on the premises and both her and an employee of the shop start going over the car and marking it up. Here's my favorite part. I received text messages giving me an update on the car. I also received voice mail as well. The car was ready Wednesday afternoon. Yes, you heard right. 2 days later my car is looking brand new with a lifetime guarantee as long as I own the car. I was able to leave the rental with them. so no 2 stop process. I would have given a 5 star rating but the light upholstery in my car has some spots on the front passenger side. I'm very happy with the work and great customers service and although I loved working with them, I hope I never have to see them again! read more
