At…read morefirst I took it to Roberts Toyota and they only addressed the rear fender in their estimate and did not work on the underlying problem. I then took it to Cool Springs Collision and they identified everything that could need addressing in an estimate to where I could see the worst case scenario. They then completed the repair to where it could open and close properly as well as not leak. They were able to seal the hinges and repainted where Roberts had attempted the repair using glue. They were able to complete the repair and the rear spoiler was actually cheaper than what Roberts Toyota was charging. They even vacuumed out where the kids car seats were! I highly recommend using them and Christian Lopez as the estimator.

The paint job matched perfectly but there were over 15 tiny holes through the paint where you could see through to the white primer. Additionally when I got my car I opened the trunk and it was functional but not as smooth as before. One day later the trunk would not open by key so I took it back to the shop in Franklin where he said he couldn't fix it and I would have to take it to the other shop in Nashville. Fortunately the guy in Nashville was able to make my trunk functional again and when he looked at the paint job he agreed it was subpar. When trying to remediate the paint job, Mike (the owner) was not willing to fix the imperfections on the car. He told me "cut me a break, we did our best, and I will give you a good deal on your roofs paint job". With this being my first accident and first time dealing with a mechanic on my own, they sure lived up to all the bad stereotypes that go around about mechanics. Quick to take your money to do a subpar job and not willing to correct their mistakes.

So, now I have two VERY different quotes now for how long my car will be in the shop for. I told them that I'm not giving my car to them until they can figure out what the actual repair time was, and to call me back when they can figure that out, but they never called me back. I call again this time on my drop off date, asking the same thing: please confirm repair time. Never called me back. I called again, 2 days after my scheduled drop off date, asking the same thing. They never called me back. I had to drive my ass into their office to get any answers since nobody there knows how to return a call, and it turns out the mechanic lied for some reason. It wasn't a week, it was 2-3 weeks the whole time. Absolute HUGE waste of time, and this is why anyone who gets car work done needs to do their due diligence themselves, because this company will not do it for you.
