My 17 ram 3500 actuator threw a fault code. I took it to bergstrom ram oshkosh because they should…read moreknow their product. The service advisor showed my how far down in the engine bay the actuator is and how many parts had to be removed to access it. I had a service agreement so the service advisor was going to interface with them to save me a lot of money. They replaced my actuator at a total cost of $4000 but my part was only $1000 because of all his hard work on the phone. I decided to try to bulletproof my 6.7 if one little part cost 4 grand. I replaced the turbo and my 4 thousand dollar actuator. My third/newer actuator was ordered with the 64mm turbo. My new mechanic removed the passenger side wheel liner, removed four screws. Installed the $700 new actuator in 20 minutes. My cost for the actuator was $700 and I suppose that bergstroms price would have been much less than that. My point is that markup on labor and parts at bergstrom is beyond what any reputable dealer would charge. Beware of the sharks swimming around in that dealership because 400% markups are not ethical in any industry. I wouldn't do business at this oshkosh ram dealer on a dare. Take your truck to any other shop in the area until they flush the rats out of this dealership. They certainly cant fix the dealership with bergstrom personel. If you look at all the yelp ratings for every bergstrom dealership you see why using yelp is a HUGE MONEY SAVER as it exposes the crooks in the automotive business.

I think he was more excited about the order package than i was. At delivery i noticed what i thought was a dent on the rear ds of the cab. Well there was another on the passenger side too so we thought nothing of it. four months later I noticed a discoloration on the ds spot and noticed the paint was cracked. Called back to the store we both figured it was due to shipping. They covered the repairs and had it back to me in a short amount of time.

I brought my wife's relatively new Hyundai Palisade to Dan, with a moderate dent on the side panel. I believe I paid out of pocket for that and Dan was very reasonable compared to other shops that I had received quotes from and I was more than satisfied with the end product. Recently, I had the misfortune of damaging the rear body quarter panel on a brand new 2021 Chevy Silverado. Initially my insurance company wanted to just mud it and paint over it and Dan fought on my behalf and told them that it is a brand new truck and that would just flat out look crappy. The insurance company changed their mind and Dan ended up doing the work and I picked the truck up today and it still looks brand new! So here is the last thing I will say to show you all what sets Dan and Gracy's auto body apart from everyone else. In the week that it took for Dan to order the new part for my truck, I scraped against something else causing what looked like significant damage to the other side of the truck. I brought the truck right away to show Dan and he said that he didn't think it was dented and he felt he could buff out all the rest. He did this for me and didn't charge me an extra penny! That is who Dan is and that is what sets Gracy's auto body apart from the competition! Thanks again Dan! II appreciate you!!

I would not recommend Gerber Collision & Glass based on my experience. The communication throughout…read morethe repair process was extremely disappointing. I was told I would receive updates twice a week, but they never reached out as promised. I had to contact them myself multiple times just to find out what was happening with my vehicle. When I was initially told my vehicle was ready for pickup, I discovered that only one of the two repairs had actually been completed. They were quick to take responsibility and cover the additional rental car expenses, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, when I went back the second time, I noticed that part of the bedside was still visibly bent, although it had been repainted. I was initially told that the area was simply part of the vehicle's normal body shape. I had to point out the significant difference between the two sides, show them the bent support piece underneath, and provide photos showing what the vehicle looked like before the accident. There were also issues with the decal that had been installed. It was placed incorrectly and was very noticeably crooked. They eventually corrected everything, but the entire repair process took approximately three times longer than I was originally told it would, largely because the work had to be corrected after the initial repairs. My insurance company referred me to this shop, but based on my experience with the communication, attention to detail, and quality of the initial repairs, I would not personally recommend Gerber to others.
