He was kind and patiently waited for other family members traveling in the vehicle to be picked up and our belongings removed from the vehicle. He jumped our vehicle so we could close our windows after waiting with them open on a hot day. I was informed by our roadside assistance company that another quote was $250 higher than the Goss price to tow from Appleton to Green Bay. I brought my wife's relatively new Hyundai Palisade to Dan, with a moderate dent on the side panel. I believe I paid out of pocket for that and Dan was very reasonable compared to other shops that I had received quotes from and I was more than satisfied with the end product. Recently, I had the misfortune of damaging the rear body quarter panel on a brand new 2021 Chevy Silverado. Initially my insurance company wanted to just mud it and paint over it and Dan fought on my behalf and told them that it is a brand new truck and that would just flat out look crappy. The insurance company changed their mind and Dan ended up doing the work and I picked the truck up today and it still looks brand new! So here is the last thing I will say to show you all what sets Dan and Gracy's auto body apart from everyone else. In the week that it took for Dan to order the new part for my truck, I scraped against something else causing what looked like significant damage to the other side of the truck. I brought the truck right away to show Dan and he said that he didn't think it was dented and he felt he could buff out all the rest. He did this for me and didn't charge me an extra penny! Not a good experience. I took in a rear bumper fascia here to be painted. The part was clean and…read morestraight and all that had to be done was to final solvent clean the part and spray the adhesion promoter, the color and the clear coats. The work was poorly done. Dry spray and orange peel over most of the piece and paint sags in a couple of others. When I asked about the bad finish the paint guy Rick told me I could buff it out. I responded that I do not like buffing paint. Well I put the part on my car and did color sand much of the orange peel out but not the big paint sags. When I took it back to them noting their poor work, I was told that the paint guy was away and would call me in a week. After leaving my number and waiting three weeks there has been no call and so now I write this review. I paid over $450 for their sub standard work and then had to try and fix it myself. Don't have this place paint anything of yours... if you want it to look good.
