He also explained the price difference as opposed to sticker shock when I went to pay. The next day I took my wife's car in for an oil change and squeaky brakes. There was an issue with the rear brakes. They didn't try to sell me new brakes on all four wheels, which they really could have and I wouldn't have known the difference. And the price was decent. When I showed up to pay, I was blindsided with an additional $215 charge for a part that supposedly broke during the repair, no phone call, no heads-up, just a surprise at the register.
