I was told by the Chevrolet dealership when bringing in my truck for an alignment that I had some form of frame damage on my truck. My truck had been pulling to the left and continued to do so after my alignment from the dealership. I brought the truck to Caliber and Ernie did a visual inspection and had some initial advice doubting frame damage. They fully inspected the vehicle and turns out there was no frame damage, there was tire separation and the vehicle was still out of alignment. The only thing I needed was four new tires and a realignment. The truck is fixed and runs great. The automotive service industry can be deceitful and take advantage of people. It is a breath of fresh air to work with people that are honest and really looking out for the customer. I already have plans to get some other things done and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Horrible customer service, they told me many lies and wasted my time. They gave me two dates to take my car in, called in advance to see everything was good to go and they totally flipped the deal on me and said they couldn't take my care because my warranty company wasn't paying enough and they don't work with my company when I told my warranty company they told me a way different story and said that's one of the body shops they have been working with forever. This place is awesome. My sister ended up rear ending someone (my poor car!!) so we took it here. Thought it was totaled. They had to replace the bumper, hood, two side panels, the AC, headlights, fog lights and the radiator. Said it would take 10 days and finished in 7. They called every two days with updates and pictures too. Jose is an honest man and you can tell he was on our side. I got skirts put on the car when I got it, and pay extra each month in insurance so they're covered. Without even reminding Jose that those would have to be fixed and/or replaced they had them on the car when I went to pick it up. Car looks and drives great. My mom just got a new (used) car and it's having a problem with the driver's door window going down. Definitely taking it to Jose and his team. read more

Bad customer service by Lisa. I cannot begin to express how disappointed I was by the lack of professionalism received by her. I made an appoitment Monday to get an estimate on my vehicle. Upon arrival the front desk was very welcoming, but once I was handed off to Lisa service declined. She didn't introduce herself or greeted me simply said I can look at your car, she took some pictures and said that all I need. In past experiences I'm giving a copy of the estimate that will be sent to my insurance. This was not the case- I felt I had to be asking all the question of what to expect Instead of Lisa providing me with an overviews of what would happen next. Monday afternoon my insurance notify me they receive the estimate and they approved. I wait to hear back from Lisa Tuesday but hear nothing so I follow up. I called the front desk who reaches out to Lisa, her reply " waiting on the estimate". I decide to wait give it a day to see if they receive what they need from my insurance (even thought my insurance confirm they approved the claim+estimate). It's now Thursday and I haven't not heard back from Lisa or anyone from Caliber. I reach out directly to my insurance to triple confirm that they've sent everything over to Caliber and they say yes you should be able to reach out and make arrangement to drop off my car and get it fixed. I called Caliber again ask for an update and get told that Lisa is still waiting for an approval. Once Lisa finally takes my call she proceeds to tell me I'm still waiting for the approval. I inform her that my insurance approved the exact dollar amount estimate she sent over so I'm not sure where the disconnect is ...& she proceeds to say then I'll transfer you back to the receptionist to arrange drop off !! I kindly ask why would I take my car if you initially stated you don't have an approval and can't won't on my car, but now you're saying take drop off my car. I told her I don't want my car to sit there without an approval you state you don't have? Lisa then reply "we'll you can pay your $500 deductible and we can begin ordering parts! At this point I'm extremely confuse and frustrated by the lack of customer service on her behalf. She's really not trying to help me in any way &'I'm not sure why I'm begging her to take my business. Needless to say I would not reccomend this place or maybe won't reccomend getting assigned to Lisa who is to busy to provide any type of service or help. I've called my insurance to assist me selecting another repair place that does want my business and will treat me with some professionalism. read more

I was comfortable enough to frankly communicate about my vehicle repair requirements and time schedule to restore the rythem of my life. Mr. Jason was pertinent of the job requirements and upon my request made sure that my vehicle finishes before New Year and is handed over to me in an amicable manner. It would be inappropriate at this stage to not to mention and admire the person at the reception (I could not recall her name. Sorry!). She was always willing to adjust to differences in information and to obtain an agreement. Deposited insurance check before giving complete inspection, requesting an additional $1300.00 from me out of pocket (apparent previous work on quarter panel) .. refused .. picked up car two day's later to take to Carmona's in Fullerton to find out the check I gave them from GEICO, was deposited. Was told by girl at the counter they'd requested a refund of the amount to GEICO. I receive an inquiry about that side of the payment from Carmona's, ask the GEICO adjuster, and apparently Caliber hadn't requested a refund, so my car is stuck at the shop until that payment gets cleared up .. did I mention this being three weeks ago?? After dealing with a vehicle window break and a door lock not locking properly and jammed I was recommended this place for fixing the door lock issue. And Arturo and his team did a great job! I like how clean they did the work. I'm one to take good care of my vehicle and prior to taking it elsewhere for the window repair they scratched up the interior door and the inside door panel was opening a little from one side. These guys however fixed the issue easily and placed it back together like it wasn't touched, back to its place- a clean job.
