I was a bit skeptical when I got to the shop because it didn't look organized at all. Their office is small and looked cluttered. But as my parents used to say, don't judge a book by it's cover. The gentleman looked over my car and identified what repairs they will be doing. He told me that it will be done at a certain date stating that as long as they can get all the parts needed. Thought I'd give Collision 2000 a chance and was totally disappointed. I have a 92 Chevy 1500CK truck that I need my windshield replaced. Reached out to Safelight but they could not due it due to rust around the area of the windshield. They said a body shop would need to perform the work. So I called Collision 2000 and talked to the receptionist on the phone and explained my situation and she said yes they could replace my windshield so just bring it down and they would provide an estimate. So I drive to Collision 2000 and when I get there the gentleman working the office wouldn't even look at it. Told me that rust would need metal replacement and that the job was too small. He also said the owner would not allow them to do the job. Not sure how he came to that conclusion without talking to the owner but he did. I came by unannounced and George helped me out and told me that my rear bumper on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee may take week and that's because they didn't know if I had any underbody damage. I know they guarantee their work for life and that's because it takes them that many times to get it right. I took my luxury vehicle in to get repaired and painted on the recommendation of a buddy. The work seemed rushed and most likely not their best guys on it. I ended up with over spray under the hood and drip marks below eye level. I paid to have some extra work done the first time and when I got my car back I find out the work I paid for did not include a spot that obviously stood out and when I asked he said I figured you could not afford it so I did not call you to ask if you wanted it done. A year later and I'm married to these guys for life, I'm going to ask for my part of the money back and cut my losses with a below average paint job and see if I can find someone who can actually paint a vehicle.
