Unfortunately the previous owner had passed away and left no instructions, so I had absolutely no idea where to start. I've never had a pond before and knew nothing about how to maintain one. I remember having a great experience with Aqua lab back in 2016 so I called them back up and Kent was incredibly helpful from the start. He took the time to walk me through everything and explain how the system works without ever making me feel dumb for asking very basic questions. We decided to do a one-time deep cleaning to restore the pond. Before the scheduled cleaning, Kent stopped by to check out the system and figure out what actually needed to be done. He ended up fixing a broken part, doing a full deep clean of the pond and the filter/skimmer, and adding beneficial water additives. Since I live about 3 hours away, he kept me updated throughout the process with photos and messages, which I really appreciated. He even left me some pond tools to use and offered to come back another time, at no extra charge, when I'm at the house so he can walk me through the system in person and show me how to do the regular monthly maintenance myself (or help with that if I decide I'd rather have him handle it). His pricing was very fair and actually came in lower than other local shops I contacted. Overall just a really great experience. I've attached before and after photos of the pond. You're paying quality stuff. I been in fish hobby for 10+ years with African Cichlids, Rare Turtles, and koi ponds, but never tried high tech planted aquarium. High tech Aquarium was quite of challenge for me and aqua lab aquaria guided me to finally built my ideal setup. I no longer have room in my aquarium for plants but this is my favorite store for planted stuff. Another bonus is that they are only store to sell co2.

Not only that, when I asked her about hens and illnesses she was SO patient with me and made several recommendations. She wasn't annoyed and was so attentive it took me off guard. Staff like Morgan are a dying breed. She clearly has a knowledge and love of farming. Ive always loved this place but have always had a hard time with advice until Morgan! She is a gem, people! It gets busy in there so you cannot be demanding or in a rush and definitely not entitled. I cannot thank her enough because now I think one of my girls are on the mend and am treating the others. I count believe that by describing the symptoms she knew exactly what I was talking about and new the names of the ailments they could have. She even taught me how to check for an egg bound egg. I have never heard any one of the hotel staff ever complain about her when I pick her up. I've dropped her there several times, even around some busy Holidays they did their best to accommodate Brenda. I really appreciate the effort they've taken in scheduling, it's been quick and efficient. The prices are also fair here. It won't cost you an arm and leg to board your cat. They also take time and engage with you cat so they don't get to lonely or homesick. I don't have any dogs, but love seeing their Doggy Daycare which is closely attached to the Pets hotel where I go. The dogs seem to be having a party!

His hair was long, and we specifically like to keep him fluffy. I showed the groomer a photo of the exact style we wanted -- a fluffy "teddy bear" cut -- and clearly stated that if they could not achieve that look, to please keep his hair long. I dropped Benny off at 9:30 a.m. and was told to return in one hour, which is typical for his usual groomer. When I called an hour later (after realizing I had missed my other dog Teddy's appointment and apologizing to the groomer scheduled for both dogs), they weren't even finished with Benny. I assumed the delay meant extra care was being taken. Benny was not ready until 1:45 p.m. -- over four hours later. When my husband picked him up, he looked like a completely different dog. His hair was completely cut off. It looked nothing like the photo I provided and was nowhere near the fluffy teddy bear cut I requested. It was extremely disappointing. What concerns me even more is Benny's behavior afterward. He is almost one year old and has been groomed regularly since he was a puppy. He is normally energetic, confident, and affectionate. When my husband picked him up, he was shaking and visibly nervous. Even two days later, he seems timid and withdrawn -- which is very unlike him. It makes me question how he was treated during those four hours. I understand that grooming salons get busy. However, communication and following clear instructions are basic expectations. I left my dog there trusting he would be cared for properly. This cut cost $110 -- more than the $85 I typically pay at a private boutique groomer who consistently does an excellent job. The quality did not reflect the price. I will not be returning. I only booked here because our regular groomer did not have availability that day. That was a mistake I will not repeat. Very disappointed.

It's been worth the money for us, as we can tell how healthy and happy our dog is with the quality treats and food he gets. Also, our dog is training to be a service animal, so there are certain items we need that can be very hard to find. Pet Food Express is the place to go.
