Cali Coffee is not your classic coffee house where you can set up your laptop and work a spell or hang out. Instead it is for people on the go with a walkup window and drive through. They have now expanded to six locations including Stuart and Miramar and they will be opening 12 more soon all over the state. I first tried Cali Coffee in Cooper City and really enjoyed it. In addition to coffee they also have on their menu fruity drinks, energy drinks iced tea, soda and shakes. They also have a kids menu with a featured shake flavor and a few pastries. We were headed home and my friend suggested stopping by to try their new iced coffee. We had been sitting outside in the heat for a few hours and an iced coffee sounded perfect. Like all of their coffee drinks the iced coffee is highly customizable with many favors to chose from, toppings like sprinkles, syrup drizzles, cookie crumbs, and cold foam for an additional charge. My friend was able to order our drinks on the app so we only had a short wait when we arrived. I chose a Irish cream frozen coffee with cinnamon sprinkles and a caramel drizzle. I like that you can even customize the percentage of sweetness. In this heat, a frozen coffee from Cali is the perfect way to caffeinate this summer.

It's quite refreshing from the typical fast pace drive thru starbucks or dunkin. Every location has been a hit but this North Lauderdale one has been my go-to lately, I cannot wait for the location in West Tamarac to open in March. The staff at this location are always friendly, and provide recommendations when you are feeling indecisive. My favorites: Iced cookies and cream coffee, with all the fixin's (chocolate drizzle, cold foam, cookie dust). It's definitely a chocolate lovers dream but the coffee balances it so well. Iced Rose Water, either as a soda or with green tea. This is a hit every time, what's not to love about strawberry and watermelon flavors? Add some glitter for an extra cute drink! I hope Cali Coffee brings back the funky monkey coffee!! They also leave cute messages on your lids!

Better cake pops than Starbucks. Total for two Nirvana's and a cake pop a little over $17. Another pricey coffee. Was nice to try but I prefer my coffee hot. For high tea they have The Royal Madison which offers you choice of tea, pastries, homemade scones with lemon curd and clotted cream, assorted finger sandwiches and fresh fruit. For $10 more you can get Megan's High Tea which also includes a slice of quiche, a cup of soup and champagne, a mimosa or fruit juice. We opted for the Megan's High Tea and I'm so glad we did. The spinach/feta quiche and the carrot ginger soup were both very good. My mimosa was perfect and was the perfect accompaniment for the finger sandwiches. The scones were warm right out of the oven and were so delicious that I'm still thinking about them a day later. I really enjoyed all the finger sandwiches with their different fillings, it's hard to pick a favorite. The tea was perfect the hardest part was picking one from the vast array of choices. They also have a cute little gift shop area that's worth checking out. Among the things they sell are a nice selection of assorted teas. I can't recommend this place enough and like I said, Brian will do whatever it takes to make sure you have a memorable experience.

The cafe is only two months old in the Cypress Creek Station shooping plaza, but heard the chatter on social media and had to drive a slight distance to also be part of the experience. A temporary simplistic Drip Coffee sign is affixed to the exterior of the business. Upon entering, the buzz of this cafe was accurate. The establishment spewed an ultra industrial modern intimate vibe with gray polished stone flooring with an open ceiling exposing the metal rafters and a/c tubing, accented by dark green ferns on the walls and tables. The laughter from five girls at a back table echoed throughout the cafe, which was a good start. The barista was chatty and all smiles while she took my order quickly with no hiccups. The Guatemalan dark roast espresso beans are sourced from PumpHouse Coffee in WPB. It was presented in a mini cup with the Drip Coffee logo imprint - this is such a simple inexpensive marketing tool that most cafes do not take advantage of. This is another cafe with a cashless tranaction process. Understandably, tipping is digital, but at the least there should be a tip jar as an option for cash. Found sanctuary at a table with a semi comfortable low stool. The Guatemalan coffee was strong and cut it with a shot of heavy cream. Usually I consume medium roast coffee, although this mimicked a few strong Austrian blends and was sublime and appreciated. The gender neutral bathroom screamed "WoW Impressive"! Instantly I pondered, the owners took their artistic vision to another level. Spotless, spotless, spotless, more greenery with thin wooden slats covering the ceiling and the low lit led hollow rough rock mirror hovered above the gray square deep sink. Washing my hands were more of a delight than a necessity. "Clean Bathroom = Clean Kitchen". No doubt that I will return to this eatery. Great coffee and a wonderful experience.

There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing.
