Tl;dr: Their return policy is deceptive and only explained on the receipt, and they refuse to take care of their customers. I bought a $20 electric heater for my kid's beta that was recommended to me by them, and even on the lowest setting, it was too hot for the fish and almost killed it. I came on day 10 of the 14 day return policy to get my money back, and they told me that they can't return electronics. I asked about the 14 day policy, and they said it doesn't apply to electronics. When I told them that I was never informed of the policy before buying it, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it in the first place, they didn't care and said it's on the receipt. ...You know, the ONLY place where this policy is posted to customers. The one you can only know about AFTER you buy something. It's aparently too "redundant" to state the policy that you can't return the product you're about to buy prior to buying the product. That policy. I asked if I could get store credit or replace it with one that works, and they refused. I was told I can contact the manufacturer to get a replacement heater. Everyone knows that the obvious choice a business should make when dealing with returns is to say "Nope. Not my problem." It's best business practice. Duh. On Monday (today), I went to to talk to the owner about the situation. He stood by his associates and said it's the responsibility of the customer to ask about the return policy, and did not understand why the policy would be unclear if the first time the return policy was explained was after it was purchased. He also seemed to not understand the difference between a warranty and a return policy, and was comfortable keeping the communication about their return policy solely on the receipt. He also didn't think he should go about and explain the warrant on any product you buy with him. When I told him I wouldn't be returning, he still didn't seem to grasp the problem of what happened. I want to support small, local businesses, but this place isn't worth it. They're happy to take your money, but then refuse to actually do any proper customer service when issues arise.

They had another parrot that was making a constant noise while rocking back and forth. Also looked so unhealthy. Small birds on the lose. Something is spreading through there....and someone needs to be investigated to make sure these animals are properly taken care of.

Due to her curly coat, more often than not I am told "she is matted and will need to be shaved down". I know this is not always the case because I do brush her regularly. She allegedly groomed them both within 1 hour her first visit with them. Their site states minimum 1.5 hour per pet for grooming. The second visit with Kaela ,Last week I picked up the girls and if deshedding was done ( which was paid for) it didn't work- hair coming off of the one pet and she was still wet after being there 3 hours. I heard low responses and "you're not doing this and you're not doing that, you're on your phone, youre holding the dogs,etc...." I stopped and looked directly at the woman yelling--who had black hair tied back, thick framed clear glasses and wearing an apron. The girl she was yelling at had her back to me. But once I met eye contact with the woman she immediately lowered her voice and positioned herself to the side so i couldnt look at her. So I moved and kept staring at her. They were not behind any blocked area or closed room--they were out in the opening doorway of the stock area. Out on plain sight of customers and walkway. Unreal. So abusive and disrespectful to the employee and customer experience. No manager or coworker should be talking to employees like that and so unprofessional to display that drama in front of customers. Get some retraining and learn professional etiquette. Sounds to me like the manager needs to be yelled at also, Petsmart upper management! This better stop or I will intervene next time. No one should allow abuse to happen like that.
