5/5 Stars - Saved the Day with Next-Level Speed and Service! I ran into an issue after a fresh tire install at America's Tire when I noticed a slow leak. I initially thought it was a faulty valve stem, but the team dunked the whole wheel in soapy water and discovered my rim was actually bent. My tech, Denon, gave me a couple of options: replace the rim or take it over to Cal Wheel Technology. I opted to get it repaired and called Cal Wheel at 3:30 PM. Corey was super accommodating on the phone and told me to head over ASAP so they could try to squeeze me in before closing. I pulled in around 4:20 PM, and they immediately went to work--had the wheel off within minutes! Right off the bat, based on a video clip I showed them, they were confident they could fix it (and promised to call if they ran into any unexpected issues). The pricing was very reasonable. I was back out the door in less than an hour with the repaired wheel reinstalled on the car. I waited 48 hours to write this review just to verify with a PSI gauge every morning, and I'm happy to report the slow leak is completely gone. After many years of teasing my wife about the curb rash on her wheels it finally happened to me and "the curb hit my wheels." I didn't have high hopes that this could be repaired and even considered upgrading my wheels before my friends noticed this rookie move. I took it to Cory and his shop did an amazing job. I was going to take an "after" picture cropped in on the repair but I honestly couldn't find the spot even in the bright sun. The service was friendly and the work was done while I waited. My Tesla Y could wheel rims had curb rash. Cal wheel had great review on Yelp and checked them out - this review is tad late, this was back in 2021..and is probably time to visit for new curb rash ‍. Did a thorough job of buffing, repainting to look like new- couple were deep rash, which I think I wouldn't have been to fix using any self fix choices. Brought my car in at 9am to get 3 wheels repaired and my car was ready to be picked up by 11am. I even came back when I replaced one of the wheels after running over a long nail which punctured the sidewall. This review is long overdue. Unfortunately, my experience with Cal Wheel was disappointing. It took a very long time to get my rim repaired, and I was told there was an issue with my tire but that it should be fine to drive. While crossing the San Mateo Bridge, the tire blew, and the rim had to be repaired again. I do appreciate that they fixed it a second time for free, but I also noticed black paint on my red calipers after they repainted the rims. This whole experience ended up being a drain on my time and resources--it cost me significantly more than originally quoted due to all the issues. Overall, I wouldn't return, and I've since found other mobile shops that offer faster, higher-quality service. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but the service at CWT was outstanding. My Tesla rims were chewed up, one with a deep indentation. Cory gave me a quote over the phone and stuck to it even when it appeared the rim with the indentation would require significantly more work. The only day I could bring it in was that day and Cory went out of his way to arrange for Jose to do the repair that afternoon. Jose was very friendly and did an outstanding job. He obviously takes great pride in his craftsmanship and he made the rims look like new. I will go back to CWT after I inevitably accumulate more road rash on my Tesla rims. read more

Not a fan of their work here. I brought in 2 wheels to be repaired: one from my car and one from my wife's car. The one on my car had slight curb rash in one area. After they repaired it, you can see the area where the curb rash was so it appears that the shop cut it and refinished the one area only instead of the entire face of the rim. The one on my wife's car had fairly significant damage from curb rash as well. I sent a photo asking if they can fix it, they said they could. Granted the finished product looks a lot better than it did, however, you can totally see where the damage was. If this were the case, I would have preferred if they just told me they can make it look better but it will not be the same in which case I wouldn't have repaired it and would have opted to go replace the rim instead. Previous shops I have been to get curb rash fixed, you cannot tell it was ever damaged before. With Cal Wheel Technology, the 2 rims I brought in you can tell for both. I am now replacing both rims so the time, effort, and money spent to get the rims repaired was a waste. read more
