Two gentleman came out and seemed to be more interested in my lot size and what they could add on to the roof replace and gutter install. We actually discussed the roof little compared to skylights and solar. It was definitely weird to say the least but then they said they had to order drawings for the roof so they could quote and never looked in attic or walked on roof. They said the quote would be emailed in a couple days 2-3. The days came and went and I emailed the contact hoping to get the quote maybe my email wasn't correct. I'm then told oh yea they are on vacation they should be back next week or the following week after. Seriously ? I asked if I could just get the quote so I can finalize aware that products would have to be ordered anyways. There is no quote? And they will let them know when they return. I've yet to hear a response which to me is bad business. I did go with a competitor I'm sure they seemed to know the upsell agenda and little roof discussion. Thanks for wasting my time in the future if you don't want the job just say it.

Eric came out to inspect my existing roof to determine whether it actually needed to be replaced, took detailed measurements, and provided a very competitive estimate. As someone who has worked in sales for many years, I appreciated his honest, no-pressure approach. I felt confident that he was recommending what was truly needed rather than trying to make a sale. The installation crew was always on time, courteous, and professional. Throughout the project, Eric regularly checked on the progress and even sent me photos to keep me updated. Gonzalez Roofing also handled all of the permits and paperwork with the city, making the entire process hassle-free. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. If you're looking for a roofing company that is honest, professional, and delivers quality workmanship, I highly recommend Gonzalez Roofing.

The roofing work itself was done well, but unfortunately, the follow-through has been extremely…read moredisappointing. There were finishing touches around the gutters that were never completed, specifically the caulking. I'll take some responsibility for paying the final bill because I assumed they would come back and finish the job. However, considering how much money we paid, I absolutely expected the company to make sure the job was completely finished before considering it paid in full. We have contacted them MULTIPLE times about the unfinished work. We have been told they would come back and take care of it, only for them to never show up. Other times, we've reached out and received no response at all. On top of that, we were never provided with a paid invoice, despite having paid for the work. We shouldn't have to repeatedly chase down a company for both unfinished work and basic documentation after paying them a significant amount of money. At this point, it's incredibly frustrating. The actual roofing work may have been good, but a job isn't truly finished when there are unfinished details, the company repeatedly says they'll come back and doesn't, messages go unanswered, and we still don't have a paid invoice. This could have been a very positive experience, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has really changed my opinion. If you hire them, I strongly recommend making sure every single detail is completed, inspected, and documented before making your final payment.

I do ALOT of research before I do certain things, and even more so on this big of a project affecting our home. .. ok, ok, I do research pretty much anything and everything, food, entertainment, travel, etc... lol Anyways, so I did my research on "Davis Roofing", and met with 5 other roofing companies, so ya not only did i pick well rated roofing companies 4 and up, i called them, and got quotes from 5 companies. The first guy gave us a great $ Price $ quote, sadly he was not insured (um, huge red flag to me, anything to happen we would be at fault, or a grey area, and I dont need to deal with a grey area , someone getting hurt, and or lawsuits if it came to it. The other guys $ price $ ranged was close , just a few thousand dollars apart ish. But a few thousand is a few thousand, We are a budget family, only have one provider, my wife, I am on full Disability, so I try to help her with any thing I can, sometimes it hard due to my chronic pain, really takes it out of it, but she is Amazing.. ANYWAYS, back to this ROOF. lol "Davis Roofing", It came down to what ive researched , I narrowed it to 2 companies, "Davis Roofing" . I am very grateful that they took those massive boards/beams out, since they were really warp, so they replaced them, looks great like nothing happened or wasnt repaired. No charge , it was in our quote , so Im guessing they do that for all there customers, and part of there bussiness model , which is awsome and doesnt throw a wrench into the operation of the roof, and extra fees that is already expsive enough, lol... They really want to earn your business. And trust me they go the extra Mile for you. I could go on about there company and met with the owner, nice guy.. If this review or any have helped you, tell them YELP sent you... they will really appreciate it.. The pic with the gap in the boards , was the boards that were warped really bad, there is another pic in there thats an after photo... with painted siding...

If you are in the market for a new roof, I can say with 100% confidence: LOOK NO FURTHER…read more BACKGROUND: When my spouse and I bought our house, we knew we would eventually need to get our roof replaced. We saved for a while and, like most people, shopped around for quotes. We got quotes from 6 different roofers. We have a roughly 1600 sq ft home and were quoted upwards of $23K for a roof replacement by some companies. This was not including any potential dry rot replacement or gutters, of which we figured there may have been some dry rot. We were getting really stressed out not only because of the prices we were quoted, but the lack of connection as well. This was a huge investment on our part and, while perfectly cordial, most interactions felt surface-level. That was until we had the opportunity to meet Josue. You won't find anyone else who will work harder or care more about making sure you feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process while also offering the most affordable prices. COST: More than reasonable. After we shopped around for quotes, he not only had the best price, but also the best value. Hands down the best "bang for your buck" if this is your top priority. While very conscientious of making sure no materials were wasted and walked us through every step of the process. COMMUNICATION: Josue is not only extremely communicative, he is also a pleasure to speak to. He will get back to you within 24 hours and will answer every question you may have and address any concern as well. He is kind, professional, comprehensive, and speedily gets back to you. WORK CREW/QUALITY OF WORK: Josue's team worked expeditiously and was very mindful to make sure that any "mess" left behind was picked up at the end of each work day so we wouldn't find ourselves inconvenienced by any mess. They were sure to blow any debris away and had a large trailer to dump everything. Whenever I spoke to anyone on the crew they were each kind and communicative as well. A direct reflection/extension of what you would experience in your interactions with Josue. He really has a wonderful team. As far as the quality of work goes, the roof looks truly amazing. We are incredibly happy with the work and thankful we found Josue. Initially, we weren't sure which shingle color we would use and without hesitating, Josue offered to drop off several samples for us to use and compare so we could confidently select what we felt was best for us. The roof looks clean and is marvelously crafted. UNFORESEEN OBSTACLE: We did have a permit issue with the city regarding an overhang attachment to our home, but again, Josue went up to bat for us. I was very stressed out to hear we would not be able to move forward with this area of the house (not Josue's fault), and he calmly and patiently walked me through the process and told me not to worry that his crew could come back and knock out the area quickly at a later time. PERSONAL NOTE: Nowadays it feels rare to have such an exceptional experience with a company of any sort. It's a really big purchase and everything can admittedly seem stressful and you're worried about making such a large investment, but I'm happy to say that was not our experience with Josue and his team. They went above and beyond the call to make sure we felt comfortable, informed, taken care of, and heard. Josue even lent us his dumpster so we could get rid of a lot of personal waste we had in our backyard (of which there was a ton). He did not have to do that, but he did because that's the kind of person he is and the kind of service you will receive if you give them your business. GIVE STONERIDGE ROOFING YOUR BUSINESS! You will not be disappointed. :)
