I was so stressed out about it. I went on Yelp and found AES. I had three different companies come out and give me a quote. AES was not the cheapest, but I went with Jeff because he went above and beyond and took a copy of the notice from the inspector and called the inspector himself just to clarify exactly what he (inspector) wanted. Honestly, that to me is excellent customer service. I didn't have to ask him to do that, he took it upon himself to do that to make sure the job gets done to perfection and we pass inspection. Jeff is very professional he made sure to let us know what he needs to do before he does it, cleaned up after himself. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional. Highly recommended AES. Wanted to add another review for Jeff and his partner (sorry forgot his name) I hired Jeff to add 2 outlets one on my living room Tv and Bedroom. I wanted the wires hidden on the back of my TV. Once again Jeff did not disappoint. He and his partner came in and handled the job professional, and clean. Jeff is a nice humble, honest man. Nowadays that's rare. Called to see why it was happening and see if we could get it fixed. Gentleman came to the house and had us "repeat the problem" several times. We plugged in several things at once and over and over the circuit blew and they could not fix it without rewiring the entire home. Okay, bummer- its a rental and we can't afford that. No biggie. But, now I am being charged TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS for someone to come and blow my circuit about 10 times, and say there's nothing to be done. Come on Jeff, that is highway robbery. Make sure you state "I want an estimate , rather than come and see what the problem is" or else you will get charged a proposterous amount. Will never, ever use this man again. As a family with three small children, this amount of money is crippling. I'm so very disappointed.

I…read moreprobably would not have called given some of these cruddy reviews, but I came on here as soon as they left to write about how amazing they were to me today. My house was broken into while my family was away the last couple of days and when we arrived home this morning, everything was a wreck. It was absolutely horrible (as you can imagine). We don't have a regular handyman because my husband usually does those types of things, but we were so disheveled today that I just grabbed the phonebook and called the first # I found, which was another company. They told me they could send someone out in 2-3 DAYS! there was NO WAY I was going to wait that long, so I called the next #, which was Jeeves. Mark answered the phone and as I was explaining to him what happened I completely broke down- but he was so relaxed and assured me that he would send someone out within a half hour to have our locks changed, our door frame fixed (where they tried to break it down in the back door) and replace the windows that were shattered. I could not believe how helpful he was. He has someone else in the office move their entire schedule around so that they could help me and my family, which in itself is amazing, but the technician they sent out was incredibly sympathetic and wonderful. He was able to take care of everything for us in a few hours and, even though I feel completely violated, I know that my home and my family are secure. I am so thankful to the entire staff at Los Angeles Handyman for understanding how urgent my situation was and doing everything they could to help us. If I ever need anything again (hopefully it won;t be another situation like this) I will call them right away and I suggest to everyone else they do the same.
