Greg was wonderful. We had some concerns about mold and he came that very same day. We really appreciate his thoroughness and he went through how to read the results, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend Greg!! He also has devices to help check for moisture that I noticed other companies didn't have. read more

I contacted Greg a couple years ago for a mold inspection at my home. I was happy with his service so I contacted him again when my parents needed a general home inspection. Greg arrives on time and is friendly and professional throughout the process. For the mold inspection, Greg explained what he was doing as he took samples and answered my questions. He later emailed me the mold report when he received the results. For the home inspection, Greg inspected inside and outside the home and pointed out concerns as he found them. He let me know which would need immediate attention and others to watch out for, and what kind of service contractors to call. Again, he answered all my questions and later emailed me the inspection report. Will call him again for other jobs in the future. read more

Found Cal Certified Inspections on Yelp as we are purchasing a home. Realtor recommended a couple of home inspectors but I have been burned in the past going that direction. Not that I do not trust my current realtor, but prefer to find my own. Greg was on-time, very thorough, explained and showed me any concerns, worked well with the realtor (in fact she plans on using him for any future sales), and very entertaining to talk to. Such an amazing experience!!!! Waste no more of your time researching - hire this man!!!!!! read more

i found greg after anxiously googling for a general inspector who I needed to come to the house at short notice. He was very responsive and was able to meet me the very next day on day 0 of escrow. What made things even better was that greg was able to do mold sampling for me as well. He made the process super easy, checked everything in the house with detail, was able to give us a lot of good advice on the house, and most importantly, told us to speak to a structural engineer about the foundation of the home... which lead us to find out about some very serious and costly repairs. He tells you which things are most concerning and others that are good to note but dont need immediate attention, which helps put a first time home buyer at ease. He was super personable and friendly, and definitely caught more things than the inspector that the seller had used to inspect the home. Highly recommend! read more

I cannot recommend Greg enough. He was responsive when we contacted him. On the morning of our home inspection in Santa Clarita, he timed it so he would arrive early enough to meet with our realtor, perform a thorough inspection, then have us arrive towards the end of the inspection. He then took the time to explain his findings and recommendations to us. He was patient and answered all of our questions. Not only was Greg great at the inspection, but he also wrote a prompt, detailed report, sent to our realtor and us as well. Greg charges fair prices and is worth every penny. I reached out to Greg through email, and he was very responsive! After the inspection he either picked up or if he was busy he would return my calls quickly. Act fast if you need help now since in the LA pandemic house buying season it appears all inspectors with a good reputation are pretty backed up. Greg was our mold inspector. In my particular situation, I didn't have a reason to believe mold was present - I just had a small contingency window, a baby coming, and needed the peace of mind. In his mold inspection, he checks living spaces but doesn't check behind the walls. He ended up not finding anything mold-related to worry about. We had a home inspection by someone else who pointed out a possible asbestos situation but was not qualified to advise on it, which Greg was able to confirm and advise on. We asked him to rush the mold air sample results and he was able to do it with a small fee per sample before our crazy tight contingency ended. Results came next day at the optimal time for us. Afterwards, we called him to walk us through his inspection. Having inspected many many homes for many many years, his breadth of experience was the asset that really helped us see and compare our situation to others' and obtain the peace of mind we needed as we are buying a home built in the 60s, and it's our first home purchase. Greg explains things clearly and is pleasant to talk to - so I was able to ask a lot of questions and get a clear answer. If I do end up opening our walls up, I would call Greg again to confirm if there is mold. read more

Greg went above and beyond to get us a mold inspection when we needed it most. We were at the 11th hour, waiting to see if we could move into a place and needed a mold test ASAP. I would strongly recommend Greg for your home inspections. Never did I think that I would need to reach out to any inspectors after the inspections were done and the report was turned in, but I found that I needed to reach back out and get some additional clarification. Greg was just as polite and helpful as he was when I initially inquired about his services. His after service is just excellent!!!! Often times you don't know what you're getting until it's too late, but you can rest assured that Greg will be with you not only for the inspection but even afterwards. Greg is quick, professional, honest and knowledgeable. He's also a very personable guy. What I really liked is that when he ran through his report at the end, he pointed out a wide variety of things that we should be aware of, but he also tempered that with straightforward explanation of each item. That allowed us to understand that some of the items that we thought were small were actually important and the items that we thought would be a big deal were actually not as urgent as we thought. If you hire Greg, you can be confident that you'll get a very accurate inspection report from an honest inspector. I highly recommend him! read more
