After my local pool store could no longer come out and service our pool or spa they recommended Cal Blue. I have been using them ever since for the last 4 years, and they have installed a new filter, salt water, fix a bunch of valves and given ongoing advice. These guys really know their trade and always arrive on time and are respectful and friendly on the property. Today they fixed a broken Jandy valve which kept draining my spa - first they tried to fix it without changing it to make it cheaper for me, then after a while they said to keep an eye and see if it worked. What I like is they didn't just go straight to charge me for a new valve because they could have done that, so they like to do the right thing and not just get the most out of the customer. After it didn't work out (not their fault) they were back and gone within 1 hour and now everything is working great again. My 5 star experience began when I called on the phone. The lady who answered was professional and confident in the company's ability to get my job done. Martin, the owner, came to see my problem very quickly and came up with solutions to my problems right away; I could tell that this time I was finally going to get my filter going properly. I normally don't write reviews, however in the case of Cal Blue Pool and Spa, I need to! I just recently had a new pool installed. When looking for a pool company that could do the startup and the weekly maintenance, I found one that did not show up. I then found Cal Blue pool and spa. I called and let them know what my situation was and they had understood my dilemma and showed up the next morning to do the startup. After the startup it was only natural for me to have them as my pool company. I'm sure I must have annoyed them with my constant questions (never had a pool before) about maintenance, etc. They answered all my questions with no problem. most recently we had some major wind storms. 65 mph gusts. Needless to say my yard and pool where a disaster! I cleaned as much as I could but my filter got clogged with the debris ( I know now to just turn it off) and stopped working. I called Cal Blue on a Sunday, their day off and they immediately responded. They came out on Monday morning (not my normal service day) and took everything apart and fixed the issue. Then like clockwork they came out on my service day as usual! Their service techs are 2nd to none. The owners are amazing and their pricing is great! The owner is available via email, phone, and text. They also notified me when I was eligible for a rebate if I upgraded my equipment, with little cost.
