10th time visiting this place ! They should be busy all the time , this food and this price

Okay. The rice was a little dry.

Needed a spot to eat at after the SNU football game. Food was good. Location great and options were nice. The rice was a little dry, but the fish was seasoned well.

    Loaded shrimp fries.

If you're haven't tried their loaded shrimp fries, you need to rethink your priorities.

Food came out fast and tasted good. Everything was seasoned nicely. Finished every last bite of my burger and fries. Paid I think $12 before tip so not bad for portion size.

Great blackened catfish, dirty rice and green salads. Cozy interior with TVs and exceptional service where they also bring the food out to you. Recommended!

Bread pudding. A little different than I'm used to but still very tasty.

The food was delicious, hot, and ready very quickly. The portions were large and a great value for the money. The service was excellent! They brought our food out to our table instead of calling our name to come get it and cleaned off our table as we were sitting at the table visiting. I will definitely be back.

Cute little restaurant that o have driven by lots of times and we finally stopped in. The food was good and the portions were huge. It was clean and nice inside but it was really cold inside. I think they turned the heater on when we were about to leave. I had the shrimp basket. It was good but had a unique coating on it. I prefer the normal batter coating over this one. It wasn't bad, just not my preferred coating. The fries were great and they gave us a ton of them. The prices were extremely reasonable. We will go back but I'll try something else.

    Seafood platter, traditional with fries.

You have to order at the counter prior to sitting down. The tartar sauce was an odd color green and I wasn't a fan. The cocktail sauce was stiff and jelly like, very weird. Ranch was, okay but over priced. I got the chicken fry seafood platter with Cajun rice, just tasted like regular rice. The other person I went with got traditional seafood platter with fries and he said it was super mediocre. Overall, I wouldn't go back. Seems overpriced and mid at best.

Good food with no frills and disposable serving pieces. Somewhere between fast food and a sit down joint.

Food quality is consistently good. Hush puppies and bread puddings keep me coming back. I can eat here twice a week and not complain.

Too spicy hot! I like hot but this was too much. All three menu items were too spicy to be enjoyed.

Try their Phat Tuesday specials. They have good po boys and gumbo. Wish they had the same drink selections as NW 23rd.

The staff was friendly They have a range of Cajun-based food options and had alcoholic drinks as well! We tried the blackened fish, the shrimp fettuccine pasta, a salad, and the gumbo, whew our socks were blown off. Everything was really tasty and the meat was fresh and seasoned super well. This may be one of my favorite pastas in OKC! The servings are a lot of bang for your buck -- we walked out stuffed, with lunch for tomorrow. New fave on my list, great for every night eats.

Unfortunately, the entrée didn't work for me. I believe it was a cream-sauce étouffée with shrimp and blackened catfish?, and the portion was huge. While the price point seemed inexpensive for the amount of food you receive, the flavors just didn't come together. It was extremely salty, had an overpowering spice that lingered on the back of my tongue, and overall just felt like there was too much going on. I ended up leaving most of it because it was genuinely difficult for me to eat. As someone born and raised in southeastern Louisiana, I know my perspective may be different from someone/OKC residents who isn't familiar with Cajun food. There's a GREAT misconception that Cajun food is supposed to be extremely spicy, when in reality, Louisiana food is about layers of flavor and seasoning, not simply heat, if any. For me, this dish was missing that balance. I will say the bartender was very sweet, attentive, and personable, and I really enjoyed our conversation. The customer service was definitely a positive!! Unfortunately, though, I wouldn't recommend the food based on my experience, and it's not somewhere I would return if I'm back in OKC. The portions were generous, but more food doesn't make up for a lack of balance and flavor.

Staff is still on point and ready to make sure your meal is hot when it arrives. We did try the Shrimp Yaya this time around and that was fantastic! Just the right amount of sweet and heat. Recommended if you like that type of thing. For me it was the crawfish étouffée because, I haven't had it in what seems like forever. Probably way too long. The food was "fair quality" at best with the fish, fries and hush puppies all tasting like there was one pan of grease used for everything.
