They charge 5.95 for sashimi. This was yellowtail. It's was not so fresh.

If you're in the area and craving sushi, this spot might be worth trying, but manage your expectations. My husband and I came here on a Tuesday night for AYCE sushi, and while the food was okay, it didn't leave much of an impression. Most of the sushi tasted pretty similar, and nothing really stood out. The tempura rolls didn't have much filling, but they were still quite heavy. Just a heads-up, they do have a policy about charging for excessive waste, which is noted on their menu. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, which we appreciated. However, I would recommend skipping the Pacific rolls. They had mango slices and were covered in a sweet mango sauce, with even more sauce on top. The flavors didn't work well together--it was overly sweet and just didn't feel like it belonged on sushi. That said, the mango sauce itself was decent and might pair better with something else. The service could use some improvement. It took a while for them to check on us and take our orders, even though the restaurant wasn't busy--there were only about four small families dining when we visited. The fried oysters were okay, but the spicy mayo tasted a bit off. On the bright side, the miso soup was fine, so that was a nice touch. Overall, while the experience wasn't what we were hoping for, the clean atmosphere and decent soup were positives. It might work for others depending on their preferences, but for us, it fell a bit short.

All you can eat was really great! Rolls came quickly and all tasted fresh. Prices are great! We will come back when we are in the area again

This place is just a wonderful Ma and Pa restaurant. The service was excellent. The waitresses were always on top of our order and needing refills on our drinks. So me and my wife Sokny did the AYCE sushi, and the food was delicious. Me and Sokny had about 10 different rolls along with fried fish and calamari, as well as some Cajun clam chowder, and house salad. The sushi we ate range from salmon, shrimp, tempura, black dragon rolls, and many others. The noise level was quiet with a seating capacity of 50 people. Me and my wife Sokny had to order off the lunch menu, but if you go for the dinner, it's after 3:30 pm. Pricewise I spent about $60. I seriously recommend this place. There is not many AYCE sushi restaurants, so take advantage

One of sac's best sushi spots hands down. The bradshaw and antelope rolls were soooo good. The cajun clam chowder is chef's kiss. Super clean establishment and the servers are very helpful and sweet. All at a decent price point.

For the price we paid, it was a great value. Service was also prompt, and they constantly checked in on us, to make sure we were satisfied. We did the AYCE option at lunch, and it was tremendous value. I was super hungry, and it was a great way to make my stomach happy. I enjoyed everything I tried and ordered, and really can't complain about the AYCE experience. At other places, it can be soured by waiting too long to be acknowledged by the staff, but food and drink was constantly being replenished. The food was solid. Because the staff kept coming back and back to our table, we had the privilege of eating the dishes as they immediately came out of the kitchen, adding to the experience. We didn't have to order a ton, and then some of the dishes sat on the table until we got to them. I really had a good time here and got my money's worth. If you're looking for a good value for the price you paid, I'd recommend this place. For that reason (value for money), it gets a 5, especially at the lower lunch time price point.

First time visitor and sweeeet gawwwd! Did AYCE-- Was referred to this place and no disappointment. Came in with an appetizers and left in a food coma. Don't feast too much in the appetizers, make room for sushi, trust me... Had about 4 rolls, also suggest asking what's chefs favorite. They set us up with a few surprises and all the rolls were just amazing. I have some pictured. Service was so quick and friendly. Happy with all staff members. The vibe inside is cool for birthdays and catching up with your buds etc. They don't serve alcohol, not dinging them off because everything else was great!. Definitely going back.

My mom had mentioned this place, and we decided to try it out. I made reservations on Yelp for yesterday at 7pm. Walked in, and it was pretty empty, so no crowd! We were seated right away, and our server was great. They are all very attentive and helpful. The place is cute on the inside, about average noise levels. We wanted the AYCE sushi $30 pp at dinner. There's so much to choose from. We ate quite a few rolls, some tempura shrimp, some unagi, and I had to try the mussels off the regular menu. Everything was good and we'll be back!

We really enjoyed our experience here for a Friday lunch!…read more The restaurant is spacious, contemporary, & bright with a wall of windows that have effective shades. There are tables with chairs & bench seating. All the seating is cushioned. Art is on the wall, as well as a TV that had sports on. Mellow pop music plays in the background. We were greeted & seated as soon as we arrived. We received nice hospitality throughout our meal. Our friendly server was attentive, invited questions, checked in on us, cleared plates quickly, kept our water filled, & chatted with us. Lunch is within the timeframe for happy hour pricing for some items. Our eats-- BBQ Albacore--presented as slices versus chunks, flavorful with a nice sauce Salmon Teriyaki Bento--a lot of tasty food, every component was yummy, the salmon was a nice, thick piece that was cooked well Hot Snow White Roll--the mister really enjoyed this & said it was so close to being a perfect roll for him, but the fried jalapeños felt like they sat around & weren't freshly crisp Volcano Roll--a massive roll that was hearty & spicy, a little over sauced on some pieces, you have to finesse eating this one & negotiate it's big pieces, (personally wouldn't get again) Double Toro Roll--SO deliciously unctuous, ranks highly in my top rolls because I loves me some fatty fish, the freshness of the greens & pickled wasabi added brightness A couple of things really stood out. The dishware was beautiful & made the meal feel more special. The workers kept the place clean, tidying & organizing when they had opportunity. I would HAPPILY come back here to eat!

Some of the best food I have ever had came from little hole in the walls. The place is clean, the people are friendly, and they even have a drive-through. Tonight, I had just gotten back from out of town, so I decided to do a DoorDash from them. As always, I was very happy. The menu is very large I ordered three items. The hibachi triad. steak, chicken, and shrimp with veggies. You can choose white rice or fried rice, I chose the fried rice. I also ordered the SPAM noodle soup, and 8 of the ninja gyoza. The hibachi triad also came with a small side salad, the lettuce was good texture, and the dressing was good. The food comes, and the bag is *HEAVY!*. These people have never skimped on portions. The Gyoza we're very decent sized, and they were very generous with the filling. They were delicious. They came with both a dipping sauce as well as a sweet-and-sour sauce. I tried each on some of the Gyoza, and the sauces were great. The SPAM noodle soup was amazing... the SPAM, the noodles, and the cabbage were in one bowl, and the broth was in another. I love SPAM. I had just gotten back from Hawaii, where you can get SPAM just about anywhere. It is so popular back there, it is also known as "Hawaiian steak." they were generous with the SPAM, the noodles were very good, and the cabbage was just the right amount. The broth was not too thick, and it was rich. The triad was amazing. The fried rice didn't have any veggies or egg in it, it was just rice, but that's OK. The flavor was very good, and the rice was just the right texture. They were very generous with the proteins, and they were all cooked just right. The veggies were just the right Texture. Not too tough, not too mushy. For all the food I got, the price was very reasonable. I haven't ordered in the restaurant for a while, they used to do a military/veterans discount, I don't know if they still do or not, but you can ask. I had enough food for two extremely generous meals, half of the gyoza, half of the soup, and half of the triad for each meal. I was stuffed and satisfied after both. The second meal reheated perfectly in the microwave. I will continue to come here. thank you

Uh still my fav, if anything I have grown to love this place even more…read more If you like authentic real Japanese food aka you have been to Japan more than a handful of times and do not care for tourist traps, you will LOVE it here. If you enjoy mikuni and the likes and enjoy your rolls, this might not be the place for ya. You want it at fast food speed, yeah unlikely. Nothing wrong with that but stick to mikuni and other random "sushi" spots and skip writing that bad review due to your personal expectations and experiences, or lack thereof. I love food. I travel for food. I use the Michelin stars as a guide and will never call myself a foodie. If I had to explain it, I'm a food connoisseur. I know when I'm here I want the sushi bar so there's no lag time for the nigiri (many steps to eating nigiri but I'll spare ya and timing is crucial) to touch my tongue. The special dishes are always amazing. I have never tried a roll lol. I travel for food and we all know sushi rolls is an American made concept of fast food "sushi". Very mom and pop and possibly understaffed at times but customer flow can also be extremely inconsistent. Let's all have a bit of compassion and be slightly understanding and come for the best real Japanese food in North America (yes I would know I'm a star chaser without a budget) and an authentic experience akin to Japan. It's incredibly reasonably priced and I would easily pay 3x. But at 3x I might need mood lighting haha.
