Today I saw that this place was open at the Malama market in Alamoana mall upon arrival they had around four or five people working and a lot of people standing around waiting for their orders. The menus were clear and had a lot of options. There wasn't a line to order which was good. They gave us our order number and I walked around for around five minutes and returned back. I probably had to wait another 15 minutes on top of that. It was a long way to receive the drinks, which was unfortunate and you would think it would be a little faster service with all the staff members that they have. Now for the actual drinks, both of them were delicious. My husband really liked the Hojicha drink. When I tried it, it tasted rich and strong in flavor. My banana cream Matcha was also very well balanced, and not too sweet which I appreciate some places have Matcha that is way too sweet for my liking. I could tell the quality of the powder was high as well. I think I would go back, but I do hope to see that they can improve the wait time for service.

The saying goes ... if there is a line .. it must be good !…read more Well ... I must admit it was really good and refreshing on this hot day ... BUT did not expect to wait almost 25 mins for my drink ..( the reason for the 4 stars) This was at the Ala Moana kiosk on a Saturday. While I was there .. it was a mess ..! People everywhere and no specified line .. you had to ask if that was the line to order ... After 15 mins of waiting for my drink .. then someone started to redo the lines since they were blocking the way for people walking through.. we didn't know where to stand so they decided to place the people waiting for their drinks in the back but you couldn't hear them calling your name if your drink was ready .. but I decided to move up because I couldn't hear any names called . I'm surprised they didn't have a system by now because I heard they're always busy .. anyways my first time here so I decided to go with the signature drink .... which did not disappoint. It was really good ! I don't mind trying the others but i hope they have a better system.

Lesson: go when they open at 8am My friend ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte and I got the Haupia Matcha Latte. Both were delicious and creamy, and not too sweet! Service was super attentive, patient, cheerful, and helpful... even though it was a humid, sunny September day... and the seats were full at the community dining area... LOL! I want to get the Ube Matcha Latte next... this flavor rotates with the haupia one. I'll have to try the Cinnamon Toast and the Strawberry ones, too! Everything made at "Devotionals" is created with aloha! It's quality, beauty, kindness, and all things good!

The wait to finally order was 1.5 hours another 5 minutes just to finish making our order. The were maybe about only 30 other people ahead of us, it doesn't have to take THAT LONG to get our drinks. They need to reassess their workflow to make it more efficient. Ambiance: 2/5* It was a special event outdoor popup in East Kapolei so it was blazing hot even though most of it was under shade. There was absolutely no trade wind breeze. Overall: 3/5* After this experience I would never go to their popup at the Kakaako Market if their workflow is no different there. Expect to wait forever unless you're the very first 10 or less customers in line when they first open.

The line was quite insane though I was already invested and was excited to give them a try as I've already had an insider who recommended the Cookie Butter though sadly it was already sold out :( and so was a bunch of other items though thankfully they still had matcha and ordered their Brown Sugar Matcha Latte. It is all layered which I didn't want to disturb as I wanted to take pics first lol but did really enjoy it even as I did get it sweetened which I normally don't do it was just right and the brown sugar was on the bottom which I didn't stir in well enough was a very nice light touch that wasn't too sweet. The staff did look overwhelmed as there was just one girl who was doing all the whisking (cray cray) but she was the master and the drink was not just stunning but delicious. I'm hoping to give the Cookie Butter a try the next time as night market like this is just so cool and amazing. Thank you!

We were at H-Mart this past weekend and were having family dinner here…read more After grabbing dinner, we decided to stay and pick up some desserts. Fortunately, Gold Miss was nearby and we had previously grabbed dessert from them. Aunty was nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the Milk Tea I ordered was less than desirable. The tea itself was fine, but the boba was not chewable. Extremely disappointing since we took our order to-go. The location itself is okay. There is plenty of seating at H Mart however, H Mart itself has grown incredibly well traveled. The bathrooms are dirty. The walls are damaged. It's just not like how it was in the beginning.

Unfortunately they do not support sugar adjustments so drinks are on the sweeter side. House Milk Tea w/ Boba - Boba was very slightly undercooked resulting in a chew on the firmer side. Their customer experience feels overconfident until something goes wrong -- at which point they…read moredeflect rather than own it. Staff knowledge and communication are consistently poor. What's especially frustrating is the performative feedback loop: they solicit input on the BOPIS experience but show no genuine interest in understanding how their customer base actually interacts with their last standing U.S. location at Ala Moana. If you're going to ask for feedback, do something with it. And if your online inventory doesn't reflect what's actually in store, why offer BOPIS at all? The tool exists precisely to bridge that gap -- using it poorly is worse than not using it. At a deeper level, this might be a mismatch between high-trust brand culture and a low-trust customer environment -- made worse by the fact that their own tools are clearly designed for low-trust interactions. That contradiction needs to be reconciled, not ignored.

One time, I requested "condensed milk walls" on my pandan coffee and it was delicious! I hope they make this a permanent menu option just in case you want an extra dose of sugar. I've also tried their banana lumpia/turon that they sometimes serve with black sesame paste. Though not a typical combination, it is such a delectable treat. It is a little pricey at $3 a piece, but they handmake their sesame paste and after trying to do that myself, I realize how much effort it takes. I ordered 2 dozen pieces of this for a get-together and it was a hit! Even the Filipino ladies loved it, and they are typically really critical about Filipino food. They also sell homemade butter. The pandan flavor is my favorite. I've tried their trio: mais con queso, ube, and pandan. I have yet to try the black sesame but I'm sure it is great too. Another menu item is toast--topped with their homemade butter or palaman. It looks delicious but I'm more drawn to their coffees. Definitely try their delicious treats next time you see them!
