Amazing local sausages! And such a great variety of flavors and meats. Buy local and you'll be glad you did.

Great fresh sausage and smoked meats! Of course I get them from Antonelli's at CalMart but I would drive to Petaluma for bulk anytime.

If you get the chance to meet him, you'll understand why people talk about him like he's an icon. And the food... wow. The jerky is absolutely to die for. He even told us to stop back by before we headed home because he was making homemade focaccia. We came back, and he wasn't there, but he had the focaccia waiting for us anyway. That small gesture says everything about the kind of person he is. We left with jerky, his amazing garlic horseradish mustard, and summer sausage, and we already can't wait to come back. Next stop will definitely be his deli. Angelo is the real deal, kind, thoughtful, and unforgettable.

The jerky was truly the highlight. The employee let us try all of the jerky samples (generous portions) we wanted, and talked about what kinds of flavors and textures would be best for our tastes. My favorites were the teriyaki turkey jerky and garlic beef jerky. Both varieties have a sweet, tender chew. No dried out jerky here. Make sure to check out the grab and go refrigerators opposite of the cash register. I made sure to grab a bag of smoked bacon ends/chunks which made an absolutely divine addition to my cherry tomato and Marin French Cheese angel hair pasta a few nights later.

My friend Paul and I had the supreme pleasure of speaking with Charlie Hertz at a Yelp Elite event…read morein Seattle, Washington earlier this month. After sampling some of the best meats we had ever had, I happily pledged that I would write an exceedingly favourable review for their meats. And if Zoe's Meats wasn't listed, then I would create an entry! Now, there is no physical storefront for their items but they can be purchased online and at local markets. If you go to their website, you can see where to find them in San Francisco + Seattle. Their company has been around for nearly three years and is eponymously named for the daughter one of the founders. When they sign up any new customers regardless of any size, type or location, they ask for a local school or community programme to receive 1% of their future purchases. Zoe's then works with the schools to use the funds towards developing educational like school gardens and education about good nutrition. They have pledged to deliver their meats to schools at no profit because they wish to eliminate manufacturer marketing and distributor profits. They also want to upgrade the quality of the foods our children are eating. How cool is that! Nitrates are limited in their products. They also try to use only naturally-occurring preservatives whenever they can like celery extract and sea salt, both naturally occurring nitrites. I could continue to extol the virtues of their meats but the proof is in their taste. So check them out or ask your local market if they carry them. It's worth your while. So thanks Charlie for the conversation and the delicious meats! I'm not a rabid carnivore but with easy access to your products, I could easily see that becoming a reality : )

You've seen this spot as you're driving down the boulevard. The one with picnic tables on the lawn…read moreand the BBQ's in the background... yep! Do yourself a favor and stop. Quite literally the best deli around. From delicious prepacked salads and desserts to fresh bbq meats there is no shortage of good eats. We love the sandwiches too, they are really big, one is probably big enough to share if you grab a salad too. Great beverage selection, snacks and deviled eggs, too! We've ordered the tri-tip dinner many times and it never disappoints.

Unfortunately, our experience fell well below expectations, particularly considering the amount we…read morespent and the quality of service and food we received.we ordered two Lil Mamas Tri-Tip sandwiches, one salmon sandwich, and one hamburger. From the time we placed our order until all the food was ready, approximately 30 minutes had passed. We were accompanied by two hungry young children, and our family was sharing a hamburger while waiting for the remainder of our order. While I understand that food preparation takes time, the wait felt excessive, especially given the overall experience. During our wait, I witnessed an interaction between another customer and a male employee wearing all black, who was bald and wore reading glasses. The customer approached him to ask whether his sandwich was ready, and the employee responded abruptly that he had been calling for the customer for 12 minutes, grabbed his food from a shelf and put on counter. The customer took his food bag and shook his head in apparent disbelief. As a first-time visitor, witnessing this interaction raised concerns about the level of customer service being provided. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. By the time our order was ready, both Tri-Tip sandwiches were cold, and the barbecue sauce had left the bread soggy and mushy. The sandwiches contained very little meat, making them feel more like bread with a small amount of cold Tri-Tip than a satisfying sandwich. Overall, they were mediocre and did not meet our expectations. The hamburger was fine, and the salmon sandwich was acceptable. The cheesecake, however, was very good and was the highlight of our meal. I also noticed that the seating area could have been cleaner. Additionally, when I picked up our food, I asked for a side of barbecue sauce and was told by the same employee that it would cost an additional dollar. I understand that restaurants may charge extra for certain items, but this was another disappointing aspect of the experience, particularly when the sandwiches themselves were already heavily dependent on the barbecue sauce. After spending $97.02 on our first visit, I left feeling that the overall value, food quality, cleanliness, and customer service did not justify the expense. Regrettably, this experience has left me with little interest in returning or recommending the restaurant to others. I strongly encourage management to review its food preparation and order-handling processes, reinforce cleanliness standards, and, most importantly, provide customer service training for employees. In particular, the employee described above would benefit from coaching on professional communication, patience, and respectful customer interactions. Employees represent the restaurant, and even one negative interaction can significantly influence a customer's perception of the entire business. A restaurant may be busy and doing well at present, but long-term success depends on consistently delivering quality food, maintaining a clean environment, and treating every customer with courtesy and respect. First impressions matter, and customers who feel disappointed or disrespected are unlikely to return. I hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended. I am sharing it because these are areas where improvements could make a meaningful difference to the customer experience and the restaurant's long-term reputation.
