    Horchata Latte
    Katrina C.

I love that this coffee shop is Latin owned. I came by to study one evening and it was quiet and empty. I ordered an horchata frappe and a sandwich. The frappe was bomb, reminiscent of Tierra Mia's. The sandwich was lackluster, a little basic. Another thing I didn't care for was that their restroom was out of service. After reading a while, and eating my meal, I had to rush home. If I'm in the area and craving a frappe I might stop by and take off.

Upon walking in, we were not greeted. There were a few patrons eating, and there was no cold water to drink. The food was served on paper plates, and napkins were not at our disposal. I got the Abuelita Latte, a large size; it was very sweet, but with cold water, you'll be fine. I got a chimichurri sandwich, rated 4/5, and I had bell peppers on the side. The honey got a croissant sandwich along with the vanilla latte, I believe. The experience was good; they were playing some nice Spanish music, though they changed it in the middle of the set. The place was very clean, but the parking lot was a little tight.

I ordered for pickup using DoorDash because I had to run to a meeting and this was on the way. Upon walking in, it was a little dark but the person at the counter came to greet me and I let her know I was picking up. The decor inside is interesting and they do have tables and chairs in case you want to study or hangout. It was very quiet on a Wednesday afternoon. I asked if they had other chips as I had ordered a sandwich but they only had a few options left. I ordered the cafe de olla with some oat milk and the Pavo Rostisado Y Lomo Embuchado Sandwich. Everything was ready once I got there and I was so hungry I had to take a bite in the car. The sandwich was delicious and I love the bread they used, it was toasted perfectly and the cheese was nice and melted. The coffee was delicious. I'll definitely be back!

I love going to this coffee shop every time I get the chance ! It's a really nice little spot with great options, I don't think I've ever got something I didn't like. Usually when I've gone it's only been one barista, which can slow things down a little bit, but if you're patient I would recommend waiting because it's worth it.

Stepping into this cafe is like a whole other level of tranquility. The girl taking my order is gentle and patient with me while I decided my drink. The menu has delicious Latin options : my favorite is the mazapan and ducle de leche. You can't forget the pan dulce (:

Nice cafe with a good variety of options to choose from. I enjoyed their horchata frappe which was so yummy and wasn't too sweet. Their frescas con crema frappe was also really good and I love how finely blended the drinks are. Service was nice and our drinks came quick. There is some seating available inside the shop. The ambiance itself was ok, it doesn't seem like a place where people stay and hang out with their friends or study. There is a good amount of parking available.

While running Aaron, I still went to this cute spot close to the freeway just before getting on lol. By looking at the reviews, it looked all right so we decided to stop by. Blueberry hibiscus tea mmmm yummy regular. Chocolate abuelita hot also yummy. Also a jamón sandwich and a regular flan. Everything was yummy... I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The old Asian man sucks and has a pissy attitude! But the other 2 female employees are great and very nice! It sucks they have to work under a person like that though smh

Closed mid-day and prompted customers to leave for supply acquisition.

So the main critique for my review today is the customer service. A wonderful young lady had initially taken my order at the register - full of energy, kind, warm, and welcoming. She was accommodating towards customizing and modifying my drink orders and allowing me to change the direction of the tables (Note: the table setup I was at and chose has it where my laptop would get the glare of the sun through the window). I had asked her if I could just change the direction of the chair/couch and she was more than accommodating to allow me to do so. The older Asian gentleman who seemed to be the owner appeared to be displeased with the accommodation whereby the young lady had to relay that he wanted it back the way it was to which I reverted it. I had one other person with me and was able to use the restroom despite having a closed signage on it. Later on, it appears that the older Asian man/owner was the only one in the store and I had requested to use the restroom, however, he stated that there was no paper and he had to go out and purchase some. As a result, he closed the store temporarily, kicking us out and placing a signage out the store indicating he will be back in 15 minutes. It was to my surprise the company I was with had revealed that there was plenty of paper at the time of use. It was quite appalling that his demeanor did not seem fit for a customer-oriented setting nor was there adequate logistical preparation if you have to go out mid-day and close your store due to lack of basic hygiene supplies. The pictures here on this Yelp are nice but there wasn't as many rear tables available as I had initially perceived. I do not envision myself revisiting this place as the drinks were okay, the furniture wasn't as comfortable for long periods of sitting, and ultimately disappointed in the customer service from a particular staff or possibly owner. It seems there are other reviews also mentioning the same individual. I wish this establishment better workflows as the staff and its patrons deserve better.

While searching for coffee, hubby and I stumbled across cafecafe. Cafecafe is located in Wilmington, you can't miss it. They offer a decent coffee menu with some Mexican flare. The ambiance was bland. It wasn't very cozy and it wasn't giving me anything. The service was basic with a body just there taking orders. The drinks were regular, nothing unique about it. I got an iced vanilla latte and it wasn't bad but wasn't great either. Ionno, I just wasn't very into this place. They offer indoor seating and parking which is always convenient. I probably won't go back but I'm always looking to try new places. So even though I didn't have a five-star experience, it was a new experience I don't regret.

The cortado was smooth and very spot on. I'd recommend it to anyone. Pastries were very delicious, muffins were full of nuts not just on top but in every bite and they come from an amazing nonprofit organization. That Bánh mì sandwich had a bread that tasted so fresh, good-quality, soft inside with the perfect crunch on the outside. Spanish latte was just okay for me; I wasn't a huge fan of the syrup they used, and it didn't have any cinnamon (not sure if I needed to ask for it). Customer service: It did take a little while to get served and get my order down but totally worth the wait. Most busy places would notice you and say, we will be with you in a minute, but here I had two girl in the back notice me and kept working on drinks and other kept cleaning, Shoutout to Ethan who was an awesome barista who saw me and had great customer service. Overall though, this place checks so many boxes we'll definitely be back.

Let's start with the coffee I kept it basic and "healthy" with a sugar-free vanilla latte with oat milk, and WOW... you can truly taste the quality. So smooth, so good. Now the vibe, this place is everything. From the moment you walk up and see the big coffee sign, you already know it's going to be cute. They also carry merch from a local artist and I ended up getting the cutest beaded bracelet keychain (couldn't resist). Service was amazing, such a sweet girl took my order, and the guy working was super friendly, chatty, and gave great info about the coffee (and yes, I was influenced to follow them on IG).
