Cafe Zupas has new additions to its menu. Most notably are the protein bowls. The Nourish bowl alone has 28g of protein. If interested in a sandwich, the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich is also nourishing. Staff was super helpful and friendly with prompt service. The modern, industrial kitchen look is refreshing, especially the use of seasonings to decorate the walls. It did not disappoint! Thank you!!

Disgusting! Long hair in the salad mix of the protein bowls. Manager started claiming they do not have anyone with long hair instead of correcting the issue.

I stopped by for a lunch: ordered combo of soup and half of pesto sandwich. Portions were generous, food tasted great, was offered a dinner roll and a chocolate covered strawberry. I was greeted with a smile in the beginning, got my food pronto (sandwich should be prepared and grilled), and cashier was accommodating and cheerful. The store is cute, plenty of sitting options, including outside. Drive through ordering is also available. Great place for a meal alone or with friends and family.

The Megrulian Khachapuri is traditional Georgian flat bread, made from a yeast dough and baked with a savory cheese filling, and a second layer of cheese baked on top. It was served right from the oven cut into wedge shaped slices and was delicious. Our shared lamb Kebab was a very generous portion of large chunks of grilled lamb. Served in a bowl with its natural juices topped with thin sliced onions, it was perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to a perfect medium rare as we had requested. A side of the Georgian version of ketchup was an excellent accompaniment, tart, tasting of garlic and herbs with just a bit of heat. Service was very good, prices are reasonable, and the dining room spacious and attractively decorated. I recommend Kitchen House Cafe, and we look forward to coming back to try more of the Georgian dishes listed on their menu.

I still think about it and it's a must-order if you're dining here. We also tried the borsch, which was beautifully presented and very tasty. We rounded out our meal with draniki and Georgian Ostri, both of which were quite good. The staff was friendly, though the service was a bit slow. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again.

Since there was a total of 11 and the seating is first come first serve, we decided to call to see if they had reservations. They did take our name and reserved a table. When we arrived we noticed a table was reserved and we were informed that it was our table. We sat and looked over the menus. When we were ready my 2 boys and I went up to place our order. My one son has major allergies so we spoke to the chef and he came back out to recommend the dishes he can have. It was great that he did so and gave us confidence that my son would be able to eat without worrying too much about the ingredients. I ordered the Shrimp Kalamakia with a side of the Greek Rice. My son with the allergies ordered the Pork Kalamakia with Greek Rice and no pita, my other son ordered the Traditional Pork Gyro with Greek Rice. The sides we ordered: Saganaki Fritters and Spanakopitakia. My son that ordered the Pork Kalamakia devoured it. He said it was tender and juicy and probably could have eaten 4 skewers. My Shrimp Kalamakia was nicely charred and seasoned, I squeezed some lemon and it provided a nice tang over the seasoning. The Lemon rice pilaf was soft and cook just right and was nicely balanced. I had one Saganaki Ball and it was delicious. My son had the Pork Gyros said it was really good and the Tzatziki sauce was creamy and rich with flavors. My in-laws bought the table desserts and I got the Baklava and my wife got Loukoumades (Greek Donuts with Nutella) and both did not disappoint. I really loved the citrus honey syrup in the Baklava. The Loukoumades had a crispy shell and nice a fluffy on the inside and the Nutella amount was perfect. This place is very good and well worth the price in my opinion. I loved the fact that they took the time to make sure my son with allergies was safe.

This casual yet elevated bar offers delicious drinks and food. I did not have any alcohol but from what I was told the drinks were strong and tasty. The food hit the spot for me. We were provided with a TON of food, to the point where to go boxes were put out since there was plenty to bring home. My favorites were the Buffalo Mac n cheese, cheese curds, and chicken tenders. Not sure how I feel about Chicago Ramen in Wheeling after my most recent experience…read more.. Since my kids had a lot of afternoon activities again and I didn't feel like cooking I decided to get carry out from Chicago Ramen. I placed an order for two Chicken Ramen with an egg. I showed up about 10 minutes later and they were already packing my order. I've always been impressed with how quickly they get the orders ready, but I guess everything is already premade which makes it easier. I ended up adding a wonton soap for one of my daughters since she just burnt her fish sticks at home and needed a back up. As I was waiting for my food I glanced at the chef and noticed that while he was packing our ramen he was NOT wearing any gloves and added the eggs with his bare hands!! I found it shocking and disturbing... Everything was packed well, and as I got home and got our ramen and wonton soup ready for dinner, I realized that instead of the wonton soup, they ended up giving me shrimp broth without any dumplings. I gave them a call and they apologized and offered a refund. I guess it wasn't meant for my daughter to have dinner that night... My husband and I did enjoy our chicken ramen...but I skipped my egg. We both woke up this morning super swollen and realized there was a ton of salt in the food. I'm not sure I will be back and might need to explore some other ramen places in the area. * Easy street parking right out front. * 2 Chicken ramen with an egg $37

However, it has been our go-to place for ramen takeout for some time now, this review is focused on their takeout ramen. After about two years' time, we have narrowed our preferences to the Red Miso Ramen with Egg and the White Miso Ramen with Egg. Both ramen comes with a big piece of Cha-Shu (pork), bamboo shoot, and green onion. The Cha-Shu is very tender and flavorful, and the egg cooked just right. The ramen noodles are bouncy with the right texture. When it comes to broth, the White Miso Ramen is definitely a winner over the Red Miso. I found the broth of the Red Miso a little too thick and there is a taste that makes it less pleasant than the other. There is ground pork in the broth of the White Miso, which adds flavor and complexity to the texture. Portions used to be very big, and I used to have leftovers. However, recently portions have shrunk and I could finish the entire bowl of White Miso Ramen with Egg in one meal with no problems. It would not be enough to feed someone with a bigger appetite than me. They had made a couple of mistakes in our takeout orders a year ago. Since then, they have been accurate with the orders and timing has also improved. I am pleased to have Chicago Ramen in our neighbor town, and a bowl of tasty ramen is so close by. I just saw that they have added Shrimp Wonton Ramen (and two other items) to their menu recently. Next time I might give that a try.

The only thing I feel could have made it better is if the pastrami itself was a bit hotter (our friend got his to-go and his sandwich had steam coming out of it, that alone made it look so much tastier than ours). Broccoli was cooked perfectly retaining its taste and crunch. Staff are very friendly and encouraged us to come get a free refill on our soda before we go which I thought was kind. We stopped in for a late lunch after working out, and I split their New Yorker with a side of broccoli. The food came out pretty quickly, and the portion size was solid. I also appreciated the free drink refills. I was especially curious to try the New Yorker to see how it compared to the pastrami sandwich at Katz's Deli in New York, but it didn't come close (as expected). It's a nice, quick option for an easy lunch, though not something I'd necessarily crave. The sandwich would have been better if it had come out hotter. Our sandwich was warm, but our friend who got it to go had his sandwich coming out steaming. It just made it look much more appetizing. Overall, it's not the best sandwich I've had, but it's still a good deli option. They also offer a "Choose 2" deal, where you can pick any two items from half sandwich, half salad, half soup, or half spud, for $10.99, which I think is a great value. I'd go back to try one of those combinations.
