THE BEST DATE-NIGHT ROMANTIC SPOT IN MIAMI…read more Pane y Vino is one of those rare restaurants that gets everything right: charming, delicious, romantic, and completely unique. The décor has so much personality, and the entire experience feels wonderfully old-school--from the attentive service to the little details that make you feel genuinely taken care of. The owner is lively, charismatic, and absolutely charming, faithfully tending to her guests and making the whole room feel warm and personal. And then there's the food. The carpaccio was exceptional: paper-thin slices of fresh beef topped with delicately sliced mushrooms and a unique lemon crème that made the whole dish sing. The mussels were enormous, served in a spicy tomato broth so delicious you'll want to finish it with a spoon. Just when you think it can't get any better, dessert arrives. Homemade, gourmet, and prepared right at your table--and somehow it doesn't feel gimmicky at all. It's genuinely spectacular. The surprise hint of Nutella hidden beneath the delicate finger cookies takes it completely over the top. And if you love eggplant parmigiana, theirs is top of the line. The portions are hearty, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and experience, and the atmosphere is made for a romantic night out. One warning: make your reservation in advance. Pane y Vino gets packed, and once you experience it, you'll understand why.

What a complete turnaround from the one-star review I left a couple of years ago! I'm very happy to…read moresay that Macchialina has really stepped up its game. The pasta was excellent, the vegetarian dishes were fresh and flavorful, the salad was delicious, and even the bread was great. Most importantly, the service was friendly, attentive, and professional. It's great to see a restaurant make such a positive change. This visit was a completely different experience from a few years ago, and I'm happy to give Macchialina five stars this time. Highly recommended!

First impressions matter, especially in a restaurant, and this was not a professional welcome. Once seated, our waiter seemed to have very little knowledge of the menu. He could not answer basic questions about the ham or provide information about the food. We had to call him three times, and eventually another server came over, but communication was difficult because they spoke very little English. The food was equally disappointing. The prosciutto was sliced incredibly thick--more like a steak than traditional prosciutto. Anyone familiar with Italian cuisine knows that prosciutto should be cut paper-thin. It was clear that the staff did not know how to prepare or serve it properly. Overall, poor service, lack of product knowledge, and improperly prepared food made this a disaster of a dining experience. I would not return.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The bar isn't very large, but it comfortably accommodates a good number of guests. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and perfect for a leisurely meal or cocktail. On my first day at the hotel, I stopped in for a late lunch. Tania, my waitress, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my visit. In fact, every member of the staff I encountered while coming and going from the hotel was pleasant, welcoming, and courteous. I ordered the bruschetta, the shrimp and calamari salad, and an Espresso Martini. The bruschetta was fresh, with flavorful tomatoes and perfectly toasted bread. The shrimp and calamari salad was outstanding fresh, generously portioned, and beautifully prepared. The appetizers were so filling that I can only imagine how generous the entrée portions must be. At nearly $300 plus for a family of 4, I'd suggest you go elsewhere. Cheers to better eats Yelpers xx

My husband surprised me with a dinner reservation at Casa Tua South Beach to celebrate our 10th…read morewedding anniversary, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The ambiance is beautiful--elegant, intimate, and welcoming. After a short wait in the bar area, we were escorted to our table, where we found it beautifully decorated with roses and rose petals in honor of our anniversary. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture. In fact, the couples dining around us were joking with my husband that he was making them look bad because their tables didn't have the same romantic setup. It made us feel incredibly special. What impressed me most was how genuine the hospitality felt. I've dined at many of Miami's most exclusive and expensive restaurants, and sometimes they make you feel like you should be grateful just to be there. Casa Tua is the complete opposite. The team genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for every guest. They aren't pretentious--they're warm, thoughtful, and focused on hospitality. Those little details make all the difference. The food was absolutely phenomenal. While the menu isn't extensive, everything we ordered was exceptional. I had just returned from a trip to Italy, and I can honestly say the truffle pasta at Casa Tua was every bit as good as the best pasta I had there. It was outstanding. The Branzino deserves its own paragraph. I've ordered Branzino at some of the finest restaurants around the world, and this was, without question, the best Branzino I've ever eaten. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely unforgettable. To top off an already incredible evening, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert beautifully decorated with "Happy Anniversary." It was another thoughtful touch that made our celebration feel even more personal and memorable. Dessert was incredible, the wine selection was excellent, and every single course exceeded our expectations. Another pleasant surprise was the value. Considering the quality of the food, the level of service, the beautiful setting, and the location in South Beach, I expected to spend far more. I've paid nearly twice as much at other Miami restaurants and left far less impressed. Finding this combination of exceptional food, genuine hospitality, beautiful ambiance, and reasonable pricing is incredibly rare. I also have to recognize our server. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, which is a shame because he deserves a special mention. He was a young gentleman from Venezuela who provided some of the best service I've received in a very long time. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. Every recommendation he made was excellent, and throughout the evening, we never felt rushed. Instead, we felt cared for and welcomed, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. In today's world, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find restaurants that excel in every category: outstanding service, exceptional food, beautiful ambiance, and fair pricing. Casa Tua delivered on all of them. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there on Thursday, July 2, and it was an evening we'll never forget. From the beautifully decorated table with roses and petals to the complimentary anniversary dessert, every detail made us feel celebrated. I sincerely hope this level of hospitality is what they consistently deliver because if it is, they have earned lifelong customers. I cannot wait to return, and I will be enthusiastically recommending Casa Tua to all of my friends and family. It was, without question, one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had.

I usually avoid ordering pasta, it's just not my thing but their spicey 3 cheese fusili is killer! We love the pepperoni pie with onion. What's really neat is that this a NY based restaurant that people usually wait in line to try and get it but here on the beach we've never waiting more then 10-15min to be seated. Service overall is timed well. We never wait to be attended to and food always come out hot. Atmosphere is relaxed and not pretentious at all. So my very high level of anticipation may certainly be partially to blame for my average-ish experience. I was pleasantly surprised to get a table with no wait at ~6:30 on a Wednesday evening. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices were high, as expected, but at least the pizzas are of reasonable size. The $32 pasta portion probably could've been a bit more generous. But anyway, on to why we're all here - The Pizza: The crust had a great crunch but I felt lacked nuance beyond that, no chew and a touch on the dry side. Cheese and sauce were fine but also unremarkable. The heaps of basil provided some bright freshness that was definitely appreciated. I feel even more compelled now to try the NYC location for comparison! This wasn't a bad pizza by any stretch but not something I would ever pick over my favorite NYC standouts.
