    Sandwich packaging.

I have been wanting to try this place as I kept seeing it around. Finally tried it today with a friend and it didn't disappoint. It's a gem in the neighborhood. It's a small Cafe. It was still early and quiet when we went and we were greeted by the guy who works there I am assuming he is the owner as he is a one man show. The smashed avocado butter croissant was a perfect combination with cream cheese. The Muscle Flex sandwich was pretty good. It comes in neat packaging and good enough for lunch. The matcha drink and the pistachio mocha was good too just need a lot of stirring to blend ingredients. Nice Ambience, good customer service and good food. Worth to try.

It's been less than a year and what was once a tiny coffee shop sharing a space with a convenience store has blossomed into a full fledged cafe/event space. I hosted a small, intimate event here and had them cater. Justin and Sophia were an absolute pleasure to work with. They gave us different options and worked within our group's budget. We were allowed to move the furniture to accommodate our guests. We asked for the lights to be dimmed, we decorated the tables with candles and asked for the faux fireplace to be turned on; it was a very cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service superb. I appreciated that they treated our guests as warmly as they treat their regular customers: like old friends. Everyone in our party had an excellent time. We would not hesitate doing another event here. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for events showcasing local artists and musicians.

    Delicious croissant!

Cute cafe with some tables and couches. Unique mix of sandwiches, soups and espressos and teas. Got tea (Tea square brand) and my friend and I shared an Italian croissant and brie and cranberry croissant. Good flavours and so fresh and flaky. I never had a croissant quite like these ones, it's not soft and chewy like the ones in the store, it's more crunchy and crispy. Excellent service! Very friendly and great hospitality!

So we decided to get some take out lunch, well that's our only choice during this pandemic. So we stopped off at Caffeine and got the meatless meatball sandwich on focaccia, it was absolutely delicious the perfect amount of heat, and great fresh toppings. This isn't a small one either it's rather filling. We also got the Greek salad which we will need to eat for dinner cause we are just too full at the moment. The coffee was solid also. The owners are great and super friendly service. Looking forward to trying more stuff of this menu!

    Stuffed beef patty--so delicious!

I absolutely love everything about this hole in a wall coffee shop. I came here for a meeting but if I lived in the area, this place would definitely be my "second home" for where I'll do my work. The ambience of this coffee shop is super chills and laid back. I love how there's a variety of couches and tables where you can come meet with friends or take your laptop out to do some work--they have free wifi! Prices for the food and drinks are reasonably cheap; I could totally see myself camping out here all day. The staff are super friendly and checked to make sure that my friends and I are having an enjoyable experience. I got a bagel with cream cheese and my friend got a stuffed beef patty, which is a beef patty with lettuce, tomato, and cheese--what a way to dress up such a common snack!! If you're in this area, you've gotta come here!! You won't regret it!

Cozy little coffee shop at Victoria Park Terrance, Caffeine is perfect name for one, surprised that it hasnt been taken sooner. The shop has been there for a few years now according to the owner (Justin) but they been part of a convenience store for most of that. They only recently expanded to it current look. (4 weeks ago) Despite not being a big location, it looks roomy and the various sitting like from relaxing chairs near the front to couchs and even tables if you want sit down and eat. I didnt actually eat, I just had an americano coffee (double shot) because I needed the kick to wake me and it was really good coffee. A place I would be a regular if I was closer to area. Props to Justin and his service too, friendly guy, able to talk to people and well its the little things that make the experience better. It could be best coffee in world but if people making it are meserable, you may not visit as often but this definetly wasnt the case. You get both here, good coffee and good service, Got to try the food someday

Friendly owner. The inferior isn't great, a bit too cluttered. Too much like a community rec room or basement. Latte was not good at all.

Ordered 2 coffee, and two breakfast croissant sandwich for me and bf. The croissant was very tasty but the size is tiny....so it's quite expensive for the size. I would like to return but I probably will need to order two just for myself and it would be too expensive for breakfast :(

Ariete E Toro - Piece of hair found in our sandwich :S

Ariete E Toro located near Yonge St. near Keewatin Ave in Mid-town Toronto serves up high-end…read moreItalian sandwiches. Opened in Feb 2025, the sandwich shop is set to expand opening a second location near Dundas and Ossington sometime this year. They are open daily from 11am to 5pm where you can pre-order off Ambassador for pick up or opt for delivery with Ubereats. When Ariete E Toro first opened last year, I recall seeing the long lines as it became super popular. Fast forward to a year later, I finally tried Ariete E Toro recently. The storefront is on a side street off of Yonge St. where it is take out only. They do have a bench near the window/entrance of the store but usually it's utilized by people waiting for their sandwiches. In the summer though, they have a small patio in front of the shop with some tables and chairs. Menu wise, Ariete E Toro has a variety of sandwiches with ingredients that work well together. You are also able to build your own sandwich if you'd like. They also have beverages like soda and water as well. The store boasts that all their ingredients are high quality. An average price of a sandwich is around $17. I decided to pre-order 2 sandwiches for pick up. These are the two sandwiches I got: - Enzo (mortadella di bologna, pistachio pesto, stracciatella cheese, chopped pistachio, lemon and basil oil). - Rogo Rogo (prosciutto cotto, 'nduja cream, smoked provolone, caramelized onion, arugula, and brown butter vinaigrette) Entering the store to pick up my order, staff were amidst completing my sandwiches. There was already a regular there chatting with staff. Service was quick. My sandwiches were packed and I had half of each at home. The size of the sandwich was pretty big! I could only finish 3/4th of the sandwich. Both the Enzo and the Rogo Rogo were tasty but the Enzo stole the show. The moist bread with the mortadella where the pistachio pesto and hint of stracciatella cheese along with a slight crunch from the chopped pistachio made for a perfect sandwich (I do prefer the bread a bit harder and crunchier though but the texture of this one was still good). I was sharing the sandwiches with my partner and as he opened the packaging he noticed a piece of hair in the sandwich. I would have given a higher rating on Yelp but finding someone else's hair in your food is off-putting. I do hope that if I return next time (either to this location or to their new location near Ossington/Dundas) that we won't find any surprises in our food. Overall, delicious sandwiches in Midtown Toronto, however, we did find a piece of hair in our sandwiches which.... kind of makes me hesitant to return. **Update** - I wrote a review on Google where the owner personally asked me to email them to rectify the situation with the piece of hair found in my sandwich. The owner apologized and stated that he was actually the one who personally made my sandwich that day (sliced the deli meat, etc.). He also made sure that he would speak with the bread manufacturer to make sure that they were aware of the situation as it may have come from the bread as well. He also gave me a refund for one sandwich as well as a $25 credit for if I wanted to give the sandwich spot another chance (the sandwich is too good to not go back!). That is what I call great customer service - making sure that an apology was given and that customers are happy. Would happily return again for their tasty sandwiches!!

Food: I got the Enzo - I'm a big fan of mortadella and pistachio pesto, and it's one of their OGs. I wasn't as big a fan of the sotto bosco, but overall the quality and portion sizes are solid. Presentation: Each sandwich comes in a snazzy box perfect for keeping the sandwich intact Space: Clean shop, more of a take out spot, with just one bench by the windows for seating Service: Quick and efficient - no line when I went right at opening on a Sunday. I came here hoping to satisfy my craving for a proper Italian mortadella sandwich after Eataly left me underwhelmed. Thankfully, this one hit the spot.

Wowowow I'm so impressed…read more Lambo's Deli does sandwiches right. The moment I got my sandwich, I knew. From of the nostalgic paper bag. A sandwich that's packed TIGHT is packed right. No mess, no stress. That is serious business. The best part is, the ingredients taste so FRESH. As we were waiting, the friendly staff offered everyone free ice cream samples. It was 25°C sunny so it was much needed. No one refused! They're testing out flavours, so I think we will expect to see soft-serve ice cream on their menu in the near future! I got the Caprese sandwich and the fresh mozzarella was so refreshing! Geniusly, there was a layer of breadcrumbs added to my sandwich, which I found very humorous... b/c really? A bread byproduct inside of a sandwich? That was a first for me. But y'know what, the crunch element over the mozzarella was a really good pairing and it works! Also, the pesto was so fresh and good.. that I had pesto on my mind the next day and I just had to find something pesto for lunch again, the influence! Honestly, we did not have the intention of visiting Lambo's that day. We had walked past it on the way to another restaurant, but I remember this corner store with bold modern-80's decor caught my eye. After our original plans fell through, we stumbled back to this street corner which turned out to be a fantastic accident because we wound up loving Lambo's so much, we swore to come back to try the rest of their sandwiches!
