This was a solid sandwich place within the St. Lawrence Market. We ended up going twice - once to pick up lunch for a picnic on Toronto Island, and the next to grab a sando for our flight the following day. Their sandwiches pack and travel well. BB

Reallly good brisket ! I highly suggest this ! Soft and smoky meat. Comes with cole slaw too.

I would eat here everyday if the price was reasonable. Tried their Reuben sandwich and is one of the best I've ever tried in Toronto. But for 20 bucks a sandwich (with the inclusion of a tiny container of coleslaw and 1 pickle spear) IMO seems on the higher side especially if the sandwich/meat portion is not even big. Their Beef Brisket Texan Style sandwich is the opposite though - just meh and no flavour at all. It comes with a side potato salad that tasted like Costco's red potato salad so I'm positive that this is not made by the store. I don't mind spending money if the quality and quantity are good. But when it comes with a pretty hefty price tag, makes you think twice of coming back.

I happened to explore the St Lawrence Market and was really impressed with the epic sandwich I got here. I was reading another Yelp review and I have to agree the Roast beef mushroom melt hoagie is just amazing. It also came with a little potato salad as well. After I order I realize they have another sandwich special called what I recall as the "Anthony Bourdain sandwich" on a printed sign. I think it included his fav ingredients like mortadella and cheese. Kinda wish I got that but I don't regret this sandwich. I know it's a bit hefty in price but it's THICK and I was already full from eating half of it.

Got Roast Beef Mushroom Melt Hoagie, LOVED this! Came here in the middle of lunch time, there were many people around the store. I expected a long wait but no. The work was super efficient and I got my sandwich in less than 5 mins. $16 seemed expensive at first, but was worth it. Looking at the juicy, thin sliced beef piled up between the buns was exciting. The hoagie buns were soft and chewy, holding lots of toppings. Cheese, roast-y flavorful sautéed onions and mushrooms - delicious. It came with a small cup of potato salad as a side - chunky potatoes coated tangy, sweet, creamy dressings - it had pieces of deli meat, which gave it a slightly smoky flavor. Loved this. Simple but solid. Fast service. Perfect lunch option on a busy weekday!

Had the Muffaletta and it's so delicious. Almost left without getting one because my elderly mom was in a mobile scooter and the people were so rude and disrespectful. But this sandwich literally cheered her up after such a bad experience in the market. Hope everyone gets kinder towards our elderly. I definitely recommend this sandwich and will try the smoked meats next time.

With my friend visiting from Vancouver, we ventured down to St Lawrence Market where it's always a pleasure to browse, do a little shopping, and have some delicious food. After wandering through the market, our first dining stop was Stack'd Deli Kitchen, specializing in deli meat sandwiches and salads. We had their Reuben, stacked high with a generous portion of smoked meat, sauerkraut, and shaved cheese, on freshly made bread. It came with coleslaw and a pickle. This was a freaking good sandwich! The meat was thinly sliced to order and not overly salted. Perfect! The rest of the market features great vendors, whether it's prepared foods, cheeses, meats, fresh produce, spices, coffee, and so much more! This could be your one-stop shopping and dining place. Check it out!

Stack'd Deli is located in located in St Lawrence Market and honestly was the best food we had on our trip to Toronto. So good we even came here twice during our trip. We arrived during the lunch rush and spent about 30 minutes going through all the shopping to figure out what to get. We ending up going to Stack'd Deli since we have rarely been let down by a deli in any of the markets we have travel too. Ashley quickly ordered the Reuben Sandwich but I needed a little more time since so many options sounded amazing and still do. I ended up going with the Muffaletta Hoagie. Now the Reuben is made fresh with them cutting the deli meat right in front of you and the Muffaletta Hoagie is alright premade which had me worried at first but after my first bite you would have never known. They clearly are making the Muffaletta Hoagies before open since it's a sandwich that takes time to be made since it has so many meats on it and it's one of the most popular. I will say it was great and probably the best Muffaletta I had ever had. Ashley's Reuben was also amazing. Loaded with Montreal Smoked Meat on buttered and perfectly toasted. We both agree it was one of the best we have ever had and we get them almost every time we find ourselves at a deli. When we came back for a second time we had decided to spilt a sandwich since they were huge last time so we ended up getting the Roast Beef Mushroom Melt Hoagie. This sandwich was also great! The Roast Beef really had everything you would want on it and it comes on the same amazing hoagie roll as the Muffaletta. Honestly after going to Stack'd we guess you can't really go wrong with any of the sandwiches they have and there were so many we still wanted to try. If you have to twist my arm though and make me pick a favorite of the 3 I would have to say the Reuben. It was just that good. So if you like a Reuben getting one from Stack'd Deli is a must.

Ordered a Montreal smoked meat sandwich and was so impressed with the quantity and flavor of the meat that I couldn't help ordering 2 more Montreal smoked meat sandwiches, 2 Reubens and 2 Stack'd up sandwiches for a friends' get together. They all tasted great a few hours later, even after reheating! Can't wait to come back again!

Now that's what we call a Stack Sammich for lunch! Recently went to Stack Deli Kitchen and I swear to get the Cubano, but my mind says Reuben. I still made a great choice from that delicious Montreal Smoke Meat that they didn't hold back at all topped with some delicious Sauerkraut. All I can say is that I can't wait to head back and try their hoagie rolls. The place is located inside St. Lawrence Market and this spot is good place for some quick meals on a busy day and need to get out of the office.

Delicious sandwich with brisket on top and sliced Montreal smoked meat on the bottom.

I got the sandwich with brisket and Montreal smoked meat and cheese. I forgot the name but it was absolutely delicious. Sandwich was hot and fresh, sliced to order. I was worried the brisket would be dry or not good, but it was smoky and juicy and perfect, as was the Montreal meat (essentially corned beef or pastrami). Let me say that I normally don't like sandwiches, but this sandwich was delicious. It was also very large, half could be enough for a light lunch, and a full sandwich would be a hearty dinner. It truly is stack'd with layers and layers of stack'd meat. Great flavor and juicy and delicious. Was able to find a table nearby to stand at and eat my sandwich in the chaos of the market. It's hard to pay attention to your surroundings and all the people passing by while enjoying such a good sandwich, but luckily no one pickpocketed me as I as enjoying my sandwich. Service was fine, they took my order and it was prepared in a reasonable amount of time.

Inside the St Lawrence market, really great deli spot for sandwiches. Guy that works the corner spot slicing is awesome. Delicious

I got 3 sandwiches for me and my family (4 people including me). What we ordered: Mona Lisa: 8/10 For both of the sandwiches the bread was very fresh and delicious! They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.

This small little bake shop had a menu hanging up, but I completely ignored it thanks to the baked goods right behind the counter that I was too busy staring at. I knew right away that I was going to order a Chocolate Croissant because, well, I always order a Chocolate Croissant if one is available. After making my first choice, this strange little baked good caught my eye, and it turned out to be something called a Cruffin.......a Cruffin you say? What is a cruffin? WELL, let me tell you. The cruffin is basically like a muffin, but like, with cheese and pepperoni on it so obviously I hate to order that sexy little bad boy right away. This thing wasn't big, but it was very dense and basically tasted like pizza crust which was absolutely delicious. After eating the cruffin, the Chocolate Croissant seemed way less cool but I ate it anyway. It tasted good and the chocolate was actually spread across the whole thing so they get an even bigger thumbs up for doing it right. Overall, COBS Bread was the spot! I had no idea this was a chain, but who cares, this place was great. I really liked the Cruffin I got and the croissant was really good as well. I will absolutely be revisiting COBS Bread when I come back to Canada and devouring a few more cruffins while I'm at it!

As soon as I entered I got a whiff of fresh bread and was suddenly overwhelmed by the amount of breads and baked goods on display. I've had their cheese pullapart loafs as well as danishes previously before, however, this time I was at the store for a free cinnamon bun as it was a free birthday reward for being a member of their Cobs Club. The cashier was friendly and asked if I wanted either a cinnamon bun with icing or plain. I opted for a cinnamon bun with icing and she put it in a box for me before handing it over. During my time at the store the place had a steady flow of customers, coming in to buy baked goods. My cinnamon bun was big and tasted great! I heated it up a bit when I got home. Overall, a convenient location in the Annex for freshly baked bread and goods!

I agree that the price for a sandwich plus side salad is quite pricey ($13 including tax) but I like the fact that everything tastes fresh and light, and you have alot of options to customize your sandwich in a healthy way. I ordered the rosemary focaccia with chicken breast, arugula, avocado and chipotle spread plus their usual sprinkle of salt, pepper and squeeze of lime. It's like a gourmet sandwich - the bread was thick, soft with hints of rosemary and yummy. The salad was mostly arugula with carrots- this was very lightly seasoned but at least I won't be hit with itis going back to work! I'm going to continue with my overtime take out review series with Sandwich Box. You would think making a sandwich is probably not the most complicated task out there, but this place seems to get it all wrong. My order consisted of an egg salad sandwich on whole grain bread with a side salad. When I received it, I only got the sandwich and the restaurant failed to tell me the salad was no longer included in the combo (yet the price remained the same). That's great that the online menu was not updated to include items no longer available, a simple update would address all these problems knowmsayin? Now on to the actual sandwich, the bread was thick. I mean so thick it looked like there was about a half an inch of eggs inside of two encyclopedias worth of bread. The eggs themselves, totally flavorless and bland. Kinda hard to mess up an egg salad sandwich right? Even Tim Horton's can get that right! To make things short and sweet, I'll be looking over this option the next time I'm working late or considering a sandwich in the downtown area.
