Howdy my yelp peeps! After a morning run with a couple friends we saddled up and ended at Cowboy coffee. One of our fellow athlete's favorite so we wanted to see what the fussed was about and let me tell you it's the best Matcha I have tasted. I ordered obviously the same as hers VANILLA MATCHA WITH STRAWBERRY COLD FOAM AND ALMOND MILK was so yummy with rich flavor not too sweet but just the perfect sweetness, definitely does not disappoint the palate. Customer Service was amazing and the cashier even took the time to tell how much syrup is in the drinks as you know we have watch our waistline LOL. Ambiance is casual. Cowboy Coffee is definitely on my favorite 5 list. Would give ten stars but can only give it 5. A must try coffee spot fellow Yelpers:)

Cute, local, and cozy little coffee shop in Santa Rosa! I stopped in for an afternoon pick-me-up and ordered an iced caramel latte. It was delicious and not too sweet! The cafe is small but very charming, especially with the festive Christmas decor and wrapping paper lining the walls. I'd definitely come back to try items from their Christmas menu!

Santa Rosa I did not know you had such a gem!! I used to live in Santa Rosa and I wish this place was open when I was here. I personally have never been to a matcha spot that lets you customize the flavors of your drink! We got a matcha with vanilla syrup and strawberry foam, and another with macadamia nut syrup and toasted marshmallow foam. Both were sooo good. Super flavorful, sweet but not overly sweet, and you can actually taste the quality of the matcha. The strawberry foam added a nice fruity layer without tasting too artificial. The toasted marshmallow one so unique to me, it tasted like I was really eating marshmallows! The drinks were perfectly balanced, smooth, and aesthetic enough to make you want to take a picture before every sip. The shop itself is super clean, cozy, and well decorated. You can tell they really care about the presentation and overall experience. The staff was also super friendly and patient while we decided on our flavor combos. They actually recommended both drinks since I was having a hard time choosing from their huge selection. Definitely my new go to whenever I'm back in Santa Rosa. If you're a matcha lover or just looking for something refreshing and unique, this place is 100% worth checking out.

Enjoyed my matcha and they regularly change up some options from what I see with other reviews. Friendly staff and a nice outdoor seating area. Would come back to try the other flavors next time!

Forget Starbucks -- Cowboy Coffee is a great local alternative. The drinks are high quality, and the iced caramel macchiato had the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. The atmosphere feels welcoming and community-oriented. The matcha latte wasn't my favorite -- it tasted more like a pre-sweetened or culinary-grade blend rather than ceremonial grade. If you're particular about matcha quality, it may not be the standout item here. Coffee seems to be their specialty. An upgrade to a higher-grade matcha would make a big difference and take their matcha lattes to the next level.

I was really excited about trying this place, in fact as a new mom of a baby I sent this listing to my husband in the middle of the night. Planning your upcoming day time coffee run at one or two am is peak new baby life. We went once they opened and had a bit of a disappointment with the uncertainty around the menu. I understand they have typical drinks and seasonal specialties but it was unclear how to order some of the things seen online vs in the store. The place was packed and the poor girl behind the counter was making every drink and cashiering all by herself and seemed super frazzled. The space itself is tiny and since the weather was bad, nobody could sit outside and enjoy their orders. I ordered the tiramisu latte and he ordered a simple black drip coffee. My latte tasted nothing like tiramisu and in fact tasted like an unsweetened flat white with overly roasted and slightly sour espresso. His coffee was similarly unremarkable. Parking is limited on site, location is the best part- easy to across from srjc, and prices seem high for not much to show for it. Maybe we just didn't order the right things, but our experience was very mediocre from start to finish.

What a charming little coffee spot tucked away in Santa Rosa! The whole place gives off those trendy, cool-girl vibes with its cute decor and fun wallpaper. The atmosphere is super laid-back and casual, making it a great place to relax. The menu had a few drinks that immediately caught my attention--I was torn between the Dubai Chocolate Matcha and the Banana Matcha, but I ended up choosing the Banana Matcha and have zero regrets. It had the perfect touch of sweetness, and the banana didn't overpower the matcha at all. I also grabbed a chocolate croissant, which was just okay, so I'd say the real stars here are the drinks. Service was quick, and the cashier was really friendly and helpful while I decided what to get. If I find myself back in the area, I'm definitely coming back to try that Dubai Chocolate drink or their Strawberry Matcha--they both sound so delicious!

This coffee shop is the epitome of girl power! But the guys will love it too! Located in the corner of the building, this is such a cute set up. Has a nice open window in the front and out door seating and some indoor seating. This place was started just a year ago and it is a female owned business! The baristas were just so nice and welcoming! There are a bunch of syrups to choose from, and they make fun Red Bull flavors as well as coffee. I got a cold brew with Sugar free English toffee cold foam. I just love how they had cold brew along with cold foam. You can really make any flavor cold foam, they have so many options! I also got a chocolate chip cookie and a lemon berry scone. I think they get these from a local bakery & they were incredible. The cookie is something I think of often, it was so good!!!!! Overall, this is a must stop for coffee while in Santa Rosa!! So many varieties of syrup for coffee or Red Bull, and such a sweet group of baristas! I just love how it's a local business with people who love coffee!

Such a cute coffee shop and really stuck with the theme of its name. The barista was really sweet and the drinks were delicious! The cold foam on my drinks were both so creamy and really added more flavor to the base. We stopped by for our caffeine fix before heading onto the road back home and it def kept us awake for the ride. The menu is extensive which made it hard for me to just leave with just one drink. They do use Torani syrup but I can overlook that with their broad menu. They are around the corner from a chain coffee hub that uses torani as well but you should invest in the community and always support small local businesses and I'm glad we did. We will have to come back when we visit family in town.

Nice hiding gem in the city of Santa Rosa. Walked in friendly staff, the coffee is good. I had a large non fat latte and my husband had small almond mocha. We pair it with a plain croissant and a cranberry scone. Their pastries are excellent and fresh. The place itself is super cute, they have merchandise for sale too. Plenty of sitting inside and outside.

I love coming here to get my matcha fix after getting out of class. They have the best matcha! Staff is always nice and friendly and always made me feel welcome. I love how they have a roll up door that opens to the patio and makes the place so airy and bright!!

I came to this spot to find a peaceful place for me and my pup. I was a bit worried as my pup is a rescue and is scared of everyone. However the staff here were friendly and accommodating. The girl mentioned she also had a rescue dog and understood the anxiety of my pup. I opted to sit outside. I didn't get to try their food but the coffee was one of the best I've had. I would come back here again. The service was awesome not just for me but also for my pup. Will definitely be back. Also prices are reasonable and they give you a lot for the price! Check them out! ‍

I could have settled for a regular matcha too! Love that they give mugs for any "for here" drinks too. Drink was cozy and very good! Lavender was there but didn't overpower the matcha. Good microfoam in the drink and no clumps at the bottom of my mug when the drink was gone! All good signs of a well made matcha drink. Noise level is good so anyone looking for a study spot or a place to catch up with a friend will appreciate that! My only gripe is that I think their matcha latte isn't that great. Not sure what they use and how they prepare it but by the end of my drink, I could see clumps meaning maybe they didn't sift the powder and whisk it enough to avoid that grittiness. I can't attest to their espresso drinks but maybe I'll give them another shot if I feel like a seasonal drink!
