I went with the beef and reef. It was a "400 g" scotch fillet. It was topped with half a Moreton Bay bug tail, some calamari and some prawns, served on top of seasonal vegetables with a creamy lemon garlic sauce. I asked for medium rare, but it was rare. Not a problem because I like rare, but when I'm out, I usually ask for medium rare for expectation management. The steak was tender and tasted great. The seafood was cooked the way I like it. My only gripe was that the steak knife was blunt, and the table wobbled, so cutting the steak created a shaking table. I stood on the table leg flanges for stability, but the experience would have been many times better if I had had a sharp knife. Sorry not to give this a perfect review, but please serve guests with a fair dinkum steak knife.

A carpark is available and just as well as most on road parks in the side road were taken due to the number of businesses in the street. They didn't have a sign on the doors and other friends that arrived had to walk around to the front entrance as we didn't see them to let them know. The store has lots of produce from cheeses, hams, pizza, salads, hot delicacies, gelati and cakes. The salad choice is amazing and all looked scrumptious although I thought the pricing is a bit steep. Then again, there was freshly roasted pork with crackling that was a bargain, so the prices are a real mix. My coffee came with a lovely St Pat's shamrock pattern and the $3 coffee was decent too. I purchased a triangular savoury (more suited to lunch than breakfast). Even though it doesn't come with Napolitana sauce the lady offered a bit on the side to try. My savoury was delivered warm and the sauce (a little runny but tasty) in a little jug so I could pour myself. The savoury triangle was a mix of spaghetti in a creamy sauce and covered in crumbs. It was big and a bargain at $3.50. My only disappointment was that they don't do breakfast (yet). Staff were very pleasant. I'll be back once the breakfast menu is up and running.

There is always a very good, warm feel when dining in, with locals and community friends all being regulars. The food is of a pretty good standard, and probably more than you would expect from a local Italian eatery. I particularly like the Tortellini smothered with Parmo Cheese, the way all pasta dishes should be eaten!
