Caffe Monza is a newly opened cafe in Partick - terrific location as it is just on Dumbarton Road on the corner before the Morrison supermarket. From the outside it is really catchy, the blue colour of the building was definitely a good choice.
Lovely interior, wooden tables, really clean and neat but with an "artisan" look. Staff are really friendly and always smiling.
I only been there for coffee (they use Azzurro coffee - not the best but good enough), once sitting in and today just for a quick cappuccino to take away. Service has been always fast even if the place was full (especially today - lunch break and no seats available when i got in) - i noticed they don't serve you at the table, so when you order you will need to go and pick it up from the counter. Hot drinks are particularly cheap - only 1.50 for a single espresso to sit in, i think that is the cheapest price i have ever seen here in Glasgow!
The selection of panini, sandwich and cakes is really good - they have a bit of everything. The bread and focaccia look really nice and fresh, so I think i will try one soon.
You can sign up to have a loyalty card, and i think it's a free coffee after 9 - if i am not mistaken.
Overall, 4 stars just because i have not tried food yet - will come back and review my review LOL. read more
