Breakfast wrap

Super cute little cafe with an outdoor patio. Dropped by with my girls and grabbed coffee and sandwiches. I got the breakfast wrap with chorizo and the chocolate oaxaqueno coffee and they were immensely satisfying! Service was also quick and friendly. Def recommend!

Guava danish

Unsuspecting charm. It's a beautiful place with a nice little patio and lobby. The coffee and Danish are serious here, with small plate entrees and hand helds make for a great size menu. Service is adiquite with 4 employees and nary the frenzy of a national coffee brand down the road. On that note there is no drive through but its worth the stop especially if you can sit and linger a while.

I had this place on my to do list for a while now and I finally decided to stop in with a friend for coffee and lunch. It's not a big place but it was busy! The line went by quickly and I saw so many people eating food that looked really good. It was hard to make a choice but I decided on the vintage turkey panini with tomato soup, while my friend ordered the avocado toast. It was a nice day so we sat outside on one of the few tables. It feels cozy sitting outside. They brought our food to our table and checked up on us a few times. The food was really good and my friend liked her coffee as well (she is a purist and got black coffee. Overall great experience and will be back.

Great little morning place to start the day or meet someone. Some indoor and outdoor seating. Nice staff.

Pumpkin Chai Latte

I've been telling my best friend, who just moved to the area, that we HAD to try this place. I was especially excited for the pumpkin chai latte, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. It was extremely sweet--to the point that I couldn't drink it. The employee helping us also didn't seem very familiar with the menu. I'm not sure if he was new, but he had trouble finding several items in the system to ring us up and wasn't able to answer some of the questions we had about the menu. We also let him know that the pumpkin chai was way too sweet and asked if it could be adjusted or remade. We were told that we would have to purchase another drink if we wanted any changes. That was probably the most disappointing part, especially considering the original drink was essentially undrinkable. I really wanted to love this place and was excited to introduce my friend to it, but between the drink and how our concern was handled, the overall experience was disappointing. Hopefully this was just an off day because I had really been hyping this place up to her!

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Caffe Mercato!! it's cozy, charming, and has a nice vibe that makes it a great spot to grab a bite. The food is delicious; I had the turkey panini and it was flavorful and perfectly toasted. Definitely a solid choice if you're in the mood for a good sandwich or cafe meal. One thing to keep in mind is that indoor seating is pretty limited, so it can feel a little cramped when it's busy. If you want to sit and enjoy your meal inside, you might need to come early or be prepared to wait. Parking can be a little tricky too. There's some parking right in front, but it fills up quickly. The lot next to Ross is the best bet if you're driving. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Cafe Mercato for the food and atmosphere, just plan ahead for seating and parking!

You know the food is good when you didn't stop to take a photo of it for a Yelp review. This spot had some of the best, unique selections for brunch. You want 'breakfast' food? Done. You want pasta for brunch?? Done. We ordered the strawberry toast which was sooo perfect - The bread was warm and perfectly baked and the strawberries were fresh. I'm not a big sweet tooth, so I got the vodka penne pasta which was delicious and served with warm, fresh sourdough. The service was super friendly and quick!! It's a smaller restaurant but they have limited outdoor seating as well. Honestly sad I'm never in Menifee because this spot would quickly become a regular for me!

Always love to stop at a coffee shop out of town. Friendly staff welcomes you in. Ordered what caught my attention. The one that had an outside sign that says toasted marshmallows latte! It was pretty chilly. . Had to get a pastry that looked different... it didn't pair well with my hot latte. Love lemon pastries but this was a little too much lemony taste.

Great place to grab breakfast and sit on the patio. Get a coffee too! The patio accepts dogs.

Guava cheese danish & iced horchata latte

This is such a cute hidden gem coffee shop! So glad this is a great addition to the city of Menifee! Sooo much better than going to a chain coffee shop especially the one on every corner with a green mermaid!!! I had their horchata for iced latte and their guava cheese danish and they were both delicious! They have a cute little set up outside surrounded with pretty flowers and plants. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee on a date with my hubby and also looking forward to coming back with my daughters and friends! The young man that took our order was very friendly and pleasant! Great service! Just wish they stayed open later, other than that loved it!

Located in the 'Menifee Town Center' right off the 215 FWY, on Antelope and Newport Roads near Ralph's with plenty of parking. Besides specialty coffee and tea, they serve lemonade, freshly baked pastries, salads, panini sandwiches, and breakfast all day. First visit and I'm obsessed! I tried "La Chata" over ice, which is coffee with milk, horchata, and matcha. My cousin recommended this drink and I'm glad she did. It tasted perfect! I also tried their "Tres Leches" and "Blueberry Poppy Seed Slice", both so delicious. Prices are reasonable. Service was amazing. Shout out to 'Fabian', he was welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful with the menu. The Café is clean and organized with a cozy atmosphere and patio seating. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely return to try other treats.

Mazapán

After a year of visiting Cafe Mercato, I'm so happy to see how popular it's become. I've now tried most of the well-known cafés in the area, and this one is still in my top favorites. I've even featured them on my TikTok because their coffee is often perfectly brewed. It's one of my go-to spots when friends visit--I always bring them here for coffee and food because it's such a cozy and delicious place to relax. My personal favorites are the Mazapán Frappé, the horchata, and the iced chocolate Oaxaqueño. They're all so good and feel unique compared to typical café drinks. I'll be honest--occasionally the coffee frappés can be a little inconsistent (sometimes more ice means a slightly watered-down flavor), but this doesn't happen often, and I definitely have my favorite barista who always gets it just right. As for the food, I've tried quite a few items and the Bella Panini with the tomato soup is AMAZING. Seriously--the tomato soup is fire. I used to be someone who didn't like tomato soup at all, but theirs completely changed my mind. It's not overly creamy and it's seasoned in a way that makes it less acidic and really flavorful. (Edit : Tomato soup had no flavor today April 20th hopefully just a hiccup ) Their pastries are also very good! The danishes are buttery and soft and always taste fresh. Honestly, if you're still going to Starbucks or Coffee Bean instead of trying Cafe Mercato, you're missing out. The only thing I'd love to see added is a rewards system and possibly an online drive-up ordering option--I think they'd benefit a lot from both.

Mommy + Son Date
Sarah A.

How did I NOT know this place existed?! I've been on a mission to avoid the "coffee with a side of drive-thru chaos" from big chain spots, and somehow this hidden gem was right here the whole time. (I'm new in the area) Had a little mom + son coffee date at Cafe Mercato and honestly... 10/10 experience. I got a coffee so big it looked like it came with a gym membership, and my son was living his best life with the perfect hot chocolate. Everybody won. The vibe in this place is SO cute and unique, so cozy, artsy, and full of personality. Every table and decoration felt like it had a story. It's the kind of spot where you walk in planning to stay 15 minutes and suddenly it's been an hour and you're emotionally attached to the coffee mug. Absolutely love this little spot and will definitely be a regular. Must try!

The seating is a little basic with just a couple tables, a couple bar seats and a bench but it's not a large place. It was quite busy when we showed up with all of the indoor and outdoor seating taken, plus a line (good sign). We opted to take our items to go due to not having anywhere to sit. (By the time our stuff was ready we were able to score a table outside, woohoo!) I was a little bummed that I'd already had coffee that morning and ended up ordering some avocado toast. Thankfully my friend wanted to share a latte because it came out so cute! My avocado toast was delicious and they enjoyed their breakfast sandwich. The latte tasted great as well. My sweet tooth is strong so I also decided to take home a slice of carrot cake. The cake was moist and spiced with yummy cream cheese frosting, all of the things I love. I'd love to see more comfy seating but then no one would leave. With great smiling friendly service, great coffee and yummy food, I'm so glad to have this spot so close by! I will definitely be coming back.

Despite that, my drink came out within about a minute of ordering. The staff was easily the highlight of my experience. Everyone was SO sweet and welcoming, even early in the morning. It made such a positive impression on me. I ordered the Iced Hazelnut Latte and honestly had pretty low expectations since I've found that coffee around this area can sometimes be overly sweet. Surprisingly, the sweetness here was really well balanced. My only issue was that the drink tasted a little too milky and watered down for my preference since I like a stronger coffee flavor. If I ordered it again, I'd probably pay for an extra espresso shot. The coffee itself isn't necessarily a standout for me, but between the service and the drink surprising me, I'd consider Joyful Noise one of the better coffee options I've tried in the South Riverside County area. I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it, but I'd happily come back if I were nearby.

Nice merch, well displayed. The pastry case is extremely inviting and what spoke to me today was the cheese danish with coconut. I swarmed it, maybe you're supposed to take more than three bites? They warmed it up for me and it was delicious. I'm usually a really BIG tipper but when you pay just short of six $$$ dollars for a single pastry these days, I don't see why you should tip when basically all someone has to do is ring it up for you and throw it in a bag.You know what I mean? So lately, for the first time in my life I'm starting to not tip at places like this. I feel a bit guilty, but I am retired. I think the way to do it is to throw a dollar in there every third visit or something, just my feeling. A cumulative tip.Ha! Anyway, the staff is always real pleasant and kind. I'm not one for fancy coffees, but they do look appealing. I've tried their coffee before, but it doesn't really work for me. I prefer that at home. But it's an adorable spot and always has a good amount of nice patrons enjoying themselves. I just overheard a gentleman say to his wife as he was walking out the door: "This tastes better than Starbucks" while sipping one of those fancy triple layered multicolored drinks. There is usually plenty of outdoor seating and easy parking. There is also a bunch of great little shops nearby, including SEES candy and a handful of restaurants, etc. Target, Michaels, HomeGoods, you know the normal Mini-Mall "flif-flof'. It's a very pleasant spot. Look for: "COUNTRYSIDE MARKETPLACE " just off of Newport/Haun Rd near Highway 215. Let me pop back inside and throw a couple of shekels in the "tip jar"! My Catholic guilt got a grip on me! Time to buzz off for now.........

I was looking around to see if there was another laundromat around and noticed that this one had a coffee bar in it. I was intrigued so I went to do my laundry there. The facility is very clean and welcoming. It doesn't look dirty like your typical laundromat. They have a variety of sizes of washing machines for your needs. There's even different size dryers . Washing and drying is done with an electronic card which you purchase there. You can purchase with cash or with a debit/credit card. They have a section where they sell soap/detergent, fabric softener sheets, etc. they even sell scented oils and candles for your home and even some pet toys. They also have a section where you can drop off your clothes and they'll take care of it for you. Now the coolest part is the coffee bar. You can order a coffee and a pastry to eat while you wait for your laundry to be done. Their coffee was pretty good and I had a strawberry scone, which was the best scone I've had. Not much of a scone person as I feel they are too dry but this one didn't crumble on me and it had really good flavor. There's plenty of seating. There's a bar area near the coffee ordering area, then there's tables on the side and some more outside. All in all. This was a very pleasant laundry experience. It makes you look forward to your next laundry session. Glad to have discovered this laundromat.

Hands down the best laundry experience I've ever had!…read more The Mat in Menifee completely changes what you think a laundromat can be. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is different. The interior is absolutely beautiful...modern, spotless, stylish, and incredibly welcoming. The large, high-end washers and dryers made it possible for me to wash all of my clothes and blankets in record time, which alone was impressive. But what really sets The Mat apart is the entire experience. There's an incredibly comfortable lounge with a beautiful couch where you can actually relax while your laundry is going, plus an espresso bar with pastries that are seriously to die for. It feels more like a cool upscale lounge than a laundromat. They also offer Fluff & Fold service, which is something I definitely plan on using for my business. Having a place this nice that can also take laundry completely off your hands is a huge plus. The Mat took one of those chores nobody really looks forward to and somehow made it enjoyable. All of a sudden, laundry became fun! Beautiful facility, great atmosphere, fantastic equipment, and an experience unlike any laundromat I've ever been to. If you're anywhere near Menifee, you have to check this place out at least for an espresso or refresher! Five stars all the way. The Mat has completely raised the bar!
