I really like their food - including the breakfast burritos, smoothie/acai bowls, and sandwiches/paninis. However, service is always a bit slow. While it's great that they have a drive-thru, it's not unusual to see the line completely full, or even cars waiting to turn in off Finn Hill. For this reason, I tend to go inside to avoid the drive-thru. If you are in a rush, I recommend ordering ahead, either online or by phone! read more

***Wow, Door Dash credited my açaí bowl order just from a survey I did!!! They made it right, Caffe, not so much. Great customer service for "in person" orders. We finally went for the very first time about a week ago we were immediately back the next day and have been back three times since, including a DoorDash order, and that's where it gets tricky. Service 5/5, service via DoorDash, 0/5, drink 3/5, food 3/5, cost fair to area 4/5. I think it's incredible that you can get Açaí bowls 5/5 via drive-thru, the quality is there the toppings are many, icy cold super fresh, and with a smile, had a male wait on us 1st and 2nd drive-thru visit! So today I put in my DoorDash order today at around 4:30 AM and I put it in to be delivered at 10:30 AM. Issues, Caffe pulled the order at 0934, I can see that on the app, that's fine--but when did they make the açaí bowl? Door dash picked up my order at about 1021, per the app, and it was delivered here 7min later; TOTALLY SOUP ...included in my order was a hot burrito it was very hot, packed on top of the frozen açaí bowl, do you see where I'm going with this? Hot burrito was packed on top of the frozen Açaí bowl!!!!! The delivery driver then put it in her insulated bag and brought it to my door within six minutes. I called Caffé Cucina to let them know what had happened, first off I literally said, "I love you guys, but... I have a question about the Door Dash order and how my order was packed." I asked them if they had packed the hot burrito with the açaí bowl or did Door dash. She confirmed they put the hot burrito with the açaí bowl inside of a small plastic bag (+1 for honestly), actually double bagged-- I said to them, my bowl was soup (I know these bowls are normally super frozen, I've bought one, stopped at the store and headed home and bowl stayed fresh n frozen) gal who answered let another coworker know, the gal came back to the phone and said if I have an issue (I wasn't looking for a fight) I needed to "take it up with Door Dash- because they paid for it." I said I paid for my order through the app, and I'm not asking for anything, I wasn't rude nor belittling, just super friendly packing advice is all I had to offer. I wasn't expecting anything more I just wanted to let them know for to-go orders in the future, she said they would definitely put it in separate bags going forward (resolution ) I said OK thank you, and she abruptly hung up . How could the situation have improved? How about, sound like you care, offer me a disc on my $10 bowl next time, how about starting off with an apology and "we'll" make sure Door Dash knows in the future, this is a frozen item we've bagged it separately for reason, or how about a coffee on us next time? ‍And most of all, a thank you and salutation prior to hanging up the phone.‍ Now as for my first and second times and the food, drive thru, fast and super sweet guy served us, açaí bowl on point; cold, fresh, lots of toppings, nice quality bowl with tight snap lid, and a great amount! He, the barista invited us in next time, told us about the menu, best service ever!!! The coffee though, for a cold brew it wasn't the a rich smooth coffee as I prefer, it was a very dark roast and too woody and bitter for us, personal preference, we prefer a deep rich cold brew. Will try other drinks in the future. Also in my delivery order was the egg burrito, it tasted odd, I did not like the sausage, the eggs were hard, and there was no seasoning. I would not order any burrito here again, will keep going for the açaí bowls. Summary, stick to the drive thru! read more

Walking past here 2X a day on weekdays for a few months now... decided today I needed a hot drink, I'm not a coffee drinker but I love chai... they happen to use one of my favorite powder mixes, Big Train... some places over use the powder and it's just too sweet, the young lady today mixed it perfectly AND made it NOT so hot so I was drinking it right away... not burning my tongue or needing to wait 20 minutes to drink it... YEAY! I had no idea there's a TOTAL restaurant in this place! I thought it was just a drive up window... I walked into a lovely little kitchen... it's like you're in someone's home! I love that sort of ambiance... I want to walk down with my family this weekend or next or at least with my son... the husband prefers my cooking... (I'm pretty good at breakfast) but I also like to be cooked for! And not have to clean up after! So going out is a treat for me... any who... excited to try different menu items I've seen here on yelp! I'll be back soon and I'll be Yelping about it! read more

We have been to Cafe Cocina many times and always have great tasting coffe e and food! It is worth giving it a try, especially if you have time. We have experience luke warm lattes a few times now as it tends to be busy. We tried their new location in downtown Poulsbo today. The atmosphere is beautiful, the, the food delicious and the coffee superior. As at any business, I could do without public displays of affection by the staff when on duty. I hope they do well here as I think their shop is a great addition to downtown. read more

I'm not one to complain but it's upsetting when you go into a coffee shop you thought you loved to get a bagel breakfast sandwich that ends up having MOLD on it! First bite and you see and taste a bunch of mold specks. My boyfriend went back inside to get a refund and the owner Eric literally said I would give you one but that's not mold it's jalapeños.. (I got a jalapeño & cheddar bagel) I'm very disappointed in the service and I would be careful when ordering food they don't pay attention to rotation yet alone date anything... My family was on vacation and pulled up to this drive thru coffee place. We ordered 5 drinks and while waiting for our drinks the workers was handed us wrong orders. We ordered two of the same drinks, one was hot and one was cold so we had them remake the drink. We also ordered a hot green tea sweetened and was handed a green tea infused cold drink. We had them remake the two drinks that was wrong and when we drove off our hot green tea was actually lavender. Also we waited 34 min in line just for our drinks. Waited at the window for over 10 minutes, we were never greeted by any barista despite there being more than 5 barista's/waitresses working. I want to be clear, at the window, not in line, with our drivers side window down waiting to be greeted and to order. Every baristas attention was on one young guy sitting at the counter who already had both his food and his drink. Turns out to be served here you need to be a young guy hot girls on jet skis stories, we will never return. Don't waste your time. read more

Missed the early bus down the road so needed a place not too far away to wait for the next one. Just a few steps away is this cozy little coffee shop. How did I find it? I used yelp! to locate a nearby coffee shop! The drive thru was busy so I took that as a good sign. Entrance is around the back. Once inside we were greeted and asked what we would like. I ordered a hot cocoa. It was the best I've had bought out which is saying a lot as I often drink hot cocoa when ordering a drink lol My sis ordered a regular mocha and she said it was good. Once we entered two more groups came in after us and a regular was at the counter. The girls were friendly and that's better than a lot of places. They also have some sandwiches and pastries (no gf so nothing for me), but sis opted out. Maybe another time. Just cuz... I am local and have enjoyed this place since my friends and I frequented here in high school. Has not changed much, staff is always super friendly and they make a good coffee anything, free wifi, nice atmosphere with plenty of seating. Parking can be a pain, but that is generally on Sundays when the locals descend in social/church group masses. Always enjoy the random parties especially during football season. Food is simple but fresh made n good for my tastes without trying to get weird in the vegan fad kind of way. Zoka coffee is decent, but could be stronger if you only want drip. Eclectic, out of the way, friendly, comfortable, closes up at 6pm... Just like Poulsbo in many ways ;) read more

I absolutely love this cafe, whether it is to pick up a coffee and a treat through the drive thru or go in, get some homework done and eat delicious food. This cafe is small enough that it never gets too busy and has comfortable seating and a wonderful ambiance. Plenty of outlets to plug your laptop in and to be productive. The coffee is always perfect and they have a wonderful array of other drinks and foods. If I ever skip breakfast because I'm on the go I grab a coffee and a breakfast burrito and it is always yummy and always freshly made. The staff is so welcoming and kind no matter who is working or how busy it is. Their baked goods are wonderful-I personally love their lemon bars. This is also one of the only places I have found in the North Kitsap area that make a yummy açaí bowl, pictured below. The food, drinks and environment are worth every penny! My only complaint is that they have open straws just hanging out by the bar and they pick up the opened straws with their hands to put it into your drink. No one wears masks. We are in a pandemic. My husband and I have tried this coffee shop probably 10 different times. Sometimes we stop by because it's the most convenient. The reason for our low score is because almost every time we have gone - the milk is burnt tasting or the espresso was pulled poorly giving an acidic bitter taste. Unless you get a white mocha to hide the burnt steamed milk taste with sugar, the lattes are almost undrinkable. We got a regular latte today and only had two sips, it was so horrible. The food is okay and the atmosphere is cute. They really should invest in some better training for the baristas to make a decent coffee. read more

I really want to like this place because they made a great first impression when I first moved here. The food seems to really be slipping. They went from Best Breakfast Burrito ever to "What the heck did they do to these eggs". The atmosphere is too cool, but either the ingredients or chef have changed.
