Fast becoming one of my new favorite coffee shops and they are so much more than coffee! Soups, sandwiches, baked goods. Step off railway Avenue into this beautiful bustling, but quaint Italian feel with live jazz every Saturday afternoon. Their cinnamon rolls are a local favorite and WOW delicious gf options and selection. Very busy in the morning and thins out a bit until lunch time. Delicious foods and service. Nice place to take your out of town guests.

Had a coffee date at Caffe Adagio and was my first time here. It was a nice coffee shop, lots of variety on the menu, and had both chair and couch seating, was cozy and comfortable. What I didn't like was that there is not wait service(you order at the counter, get your items, and then take your items to the dirty dish bin by the door on your way out.) Because of this, the tables were all dirty from who say they'd before, tables were sticky and no way to wipe them down. The bus station is across the street, and interesting customers and pan handlers coming in and out and walking around the caffe. Not sure it's where I might come back. The tea was okay; certainly not the best I've had. Adios Adagio!

Caffe adagio is SO AWESOME! Such great ambiance and seating to camp out for an hour or two and read a book while sipping on some awesome coffee and locally baked treats! They have such an awesome atmosphere and their coffee is mind blowingly good, one of the best dirty chais I have had in a while!

A nice cafe with excellent coffee and espresso and cappuccino drinks. They just happen to have a live jazz band playing when we stopped in. Sorry I didn't have time to stay long but enjoyed it for a short while.

Very delicious drinks. We got the Italian soda and ice latte. Made well, flavor is very good. Also friendly staff and a cool spot to check out.

I have been here a few times and I have never been disappointed! The coffee is good but what I really love are the sandwiches! I've had sandwiches from a few places around downtown Bellingham and I've been greatly disappointed. But these sandwiches are something I crave now! I highly recommend the Sicilian Turkey and the Turkey Gusto! read more

It's kind of overpriced and pretentious, but if you're trying to get homework done and you're tired of woods, this is probably the place to go. It's usually not too hard to find parking, which is surprising as it is downtown, and I believe the meters in front are 3 hours. I would recommend the London fog -- earl grey tea with vanilla and steamed milk. They also sell bottled juices, water, and snacks. Fast wifi, and four or five of the tables have electrical outlets. read more

This is now my second time here so need to review. I love this place probably the best coffee in Bellingham. The atmosphere is classic but not stuffy. The staff is friendly. I don't know why I haven't tried this place until now. Much better than the ever popular Woods Coffee, which always tastes burned or bitter to me. The first time I had a delicious scone and my wife and son split a cinnamon roll, my wife thought it was one of the best she has ever had. Hours are from 7 AM to 6 PM and closed on Sunday's. Overall great experience and I will be back. read more

This place is huge...no, I mean really huge. It's larger than any coffee shop I've ever been too. So, who cares about the size? Students!! This is an excellent place to study because you can almost always find a table. The coffee is good, not great. But, the tea is fantastic! I wish tgey had a better pastry selection but they do have truffles! ...or is it fudge? Anyways they have some sort of chocolate decadence for purchase! read more

This is a quaint little sit down coffee shop. I love the classiness of it and the people who work here are spot on with their customer service skills. I loved the leaf design on my nice big cup of caramel macchiato. My daughter had a turkey mundo sandwhich and loved it. They also have a display of truffles which are so delicious and decadent. read more

I love to study at cafes, and this one is my favorite by far! Comfortable seats, nice old-timey jazz music, and lots of window seating. I love to sit by their big windows and watch the rain fall. They have these nice wide windowsills, perfect for resting your cup of coffee while you strew papers and books everywhere on the table. The coffee is DELICIOUS. Mmmmmm. Best coffee I've had in town and the presentation is lovely: simple, elegant, lovely little white cups. Very reasonably priced, too. In terms of food I've only tried the focaccia and the veggie sandwich but both were very tasty - the hint of pesto in the sandwich is the perfect finishing touch. I do wish they had more vegan food options, but I'd rather they keep focusing on making their coffee as good as they do. If you're looking for a classic cafe experience, you've come to the right place. read more

Started coming here for my lunch breaks and was glad I stumbled upon it. The sandwiches are amazingly delicious (roast beef on ciabatta is my favorite), their corn salmon chowder is some of the best I've had, the house salad is great, and their prices are reasonable. No reason for disappointment here! It looks a little odd from outside, but go in. The furnishings are so nice and it is well decorated with plenty of seating. Average. Average coffee and average service. I was disappointed because based on reviews I excepted that my experience would be better. In my opinion the coffee was pretty bitter. Only slightly better than Starbuck's coffee. I don't recommend this place. read more

This is a good value for an espresso. The coffee is high quality and you are getting a well made latte. They have the milk to coffee ratio down. A cappuccino is a cappuccino. This is a city worthy place that I feel would stand up if it was located in Paris next to the Museum. read more

The coffee is wonderful, and the London Fog is the best in town - hands down! This is a local family business run and customers are treated very well. The new remodel gives even more space - which is good because the place is justifiably busy. At the same time, the noise level is reasonable. I particularly like the Adagio salad and the tomato bisque soup. My husband loves the turkey gusto sandwich. Really, you can't go wrong with the food. It is always fresh and healthy! read more

This place is fantastic! Because I work downtown, finding a coffee shop that is quiet and without distractions is difficult. I love the atmosphere here--quiet, spacious, with a more "adult" vibe. This can be hard to find in a college town. They make a divine chai tea latte. I don't know what it is about this latte....but I have a feeling I will be disappointed numerous times in the future now that the standard has been set so high:) read more

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Bellingham 8 years running! No one in town makes a better latte in my opinion, not too sweet/syrupy, great flavor, always consistent. And the owners & staff are super nice and just awesome people. I cannot even imagine why people would give this shop one star...but then again there are people who would be unhappy even at the sight of a double rainbow. read more

This is a good Bellingham coffee shop. I go here when I'm taking the bus (located across from downtown bus station) and they serve a nice Americano. Only reason for three stars is because they aren't open on Sundays. read more

I know I should say Tony's coffee is the best but these guys make the best single esspresso shots out of anywhere I've ever been. Get the esspresso con pana supper good they put whip cream on a shot. Also I'm not sure but I think the guy that works there makes them better than the girl, but I'm not sure. read more

Dianna and Luke provide consistently good coffee drinks, as well as a bright/sunny/comfortable atmosphere on the north end of Railroad Ave in downtown Bellingham. Cute coffee shop at a corner of downtown Bellingham. On a scale of one to hipster it's definitely not a Starbucks or a Woods coffee. If you're trying not to go mainstream, this is your stop! The majority of their customers when I went were probably above the age of 50, so keep your convos rated PG or else you'll get some weird looks since the tables are very close together! read more

This is my absolute favorite coffee house in Bellingham. (Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be telling everyone about it. But too good not to share.) It's on a corner, lots of light and lots of room for the tables. Feels companionable without being pressed next to other people. Excellent acoustics, a good place to talk. But also a good place to go by yourself, to read or work or just drink your coffee. My husband says it's the only place in town that makes a correct cappuccino. Excellent mochas. Their baked goods are from the Mt. Bakery, and their light lunch fare is delicious. They have just put in outdoor tables under a roof; looking forward to sitting there this summer. read more

Last visit they had a watermelon gazpacho on the specials menu that perfectly balanced sweet and bright, super refreshing. What they do best is keep things simple but execute flawlessly. A good chunk of the sandwiches you can get half ( then they become slightly expensive halves due to pricing :) )Great bread, great ingredients, no fuss. The Italian sub is proof. It's classic and spot on. My personal go-to, however, is the horseradish roast beef, fantastic combination. And the rotating panini specials are always worth a look. The crispy fried crust had a very unique texture, and contrasted wonderfully with the soft warm inside of sticky buns with BBQ pork filing. Next we dug into the Fried Combo, which included Egg Rolls, Potstickers and Crab Rangoon. The Egg Roll & Potstickers were unforgettable, but the Crab Rangoon was the real star of the show. Creamy crab filling wrapped in fried wonton paper, and some sweet chili sauce to dip in. Moving on to the entrees we shared the Beef & Shrimp Fried Noodle plate, and the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. The fried noodles contained tender beef and succulent shrimp stir-fried with yellow noodles, Cabbage, Shredded Carrot, crisp bean sprouts, and garnished with fresh cilantro. The dish was very flavorful, with all the fresh veggies and spices tying together the noodles, shrimps and beef. Finally the banh mi. I will admit I have never tried a banh mi sandwich, but I am very glad this was my first one. All the vegetables on top provided an excellent crunch and the chicken was very tender with an amazing flavor. I also added picked jalapeño for an extra touch of heat. All in all this is a very great choice for anyone in the mood for some great Vietnamese cuisine. We will definitely be going into the restaurant next time to try something else!

We ordered a variety of food and coffee (latte and gesha pour over) and even bought a bag of gesha beans to make coffee at home because we thought it was so good. Even though it was a Saturday morning (it was super packed) we still found a table to sit at and were able to enjoy everything. We came back a couple of days later, but we missed the food (the kitchen closes at a specific time) so we ended up getting coffee to go. I'd put this place on my list of favorite coffee shops to eat at in PNW!

Caffee Adagio is a popular restaurant/café in downtown Bellingham. I go there regularly for coffee and light meals. The factors that I consider when reviewing a restaurant are the food, the price, the atmosphere, the service, the location and the parking. I am happy to write a great review of Caffe Adagio because it meets all of my needs very well. Caffee Adagio is conveniently located on Railroad Avenue in Bellingham, where there is always parking. It is open Monday through Saturday from 7 AM until 6 PM. It serves all kinds of coffee and tea and has a good selection of food items, including soup, sandwiches and pastries. Everything is affordably priced. service is friendly, and it's a very large space with a variety of seating options, including comfortable chairs and couches. Whenever I go here, there is space available, unlike at some other cafés that I've been to. I usually order a latte and a pastry, which are always delicious. I like to come here to study my English with my friend Barbara because of the nice atmosphere, the great coffee, and the fact that we can always find seats and a table. Caffe Adagio is my favorite café in Bellingham because of the reasonable prices, delicious food and beverages , and friendly service. I also love the fact that the restaurant is so spacious. My only complaints are that it could be a little quieter and that it's closed on Sundays, but those are minor. Five stars! read more

Coffee was good, staff was friendly, nice cafe, wish there were a few more plugins, the wifi for some reason.. seemed like a joke, maybe it was my phone? Zero wifi signal inside, I go across the street, waiting for my bus at the station.. very strong signal appears.. it's the cafes wifi.. that was funny lol. 100 feet away, I found their wifi.
