Right off the Grand st B station you'll find a super cute new Cuban cafe serving up a delicious Cuban sandwich! They paired it with crispy plantain chips and I was truly in lunch heaven. I legit felt like I was on an island eating this sandwich! The bread was perfectly toasted and pressed and the ham, pork, pickles, and mustard were well executed. My only complaint here was there was slightly too little roast pork and 2 slices too much of Swiss cheese. The service was friendly and quick and everything came out in around 10 minutes. I also had a "Super Linda" smoothie that had pineapple, mango, banana, coconut and orange. Straight gas!!! Full on island vibes and the perfect pick me up on a hot summers day! Pricing was great and I'll def be back for a Cuban coffee!!

Petite cafe with a variety of small options. Only 5 patrons can dine but the options are tasty. There's small entrees and pastries to try. The cookie was decent, the matcha was good. No public restroom. The bright interior aesthetic is great for fast pace tired New Yorkers. Right off the Broadway f line.

The empanadas here are flaky, flavorful and taste homemade. I had a chicken empanada and then a spinach one. Both are tasty. A Rocoto sauce made with mayonnaise, red & black pepper and lemon juice added joy. Cafecito is a charming cozy cafe on Chrystie Street. With a few tables outdoors and counter seating inside, this is definitely a cafe one needs to frequent. Fior and Maricela are the two friendly and efficient young ladies who prepare the food and drinks. All the pastries come from Pain D'Avignon which is a fine bakery. I had planned on eating elsewhere but saw this cafe again and came here instead. Cafecito has been open four years and I hope they stay open for many more.

Their coffee is really strong, fragrant, and really good. Highly recommended. The Matcha isn't bad either but I prefer having their coffee, you can smell it from a mile away. When they first took over the deli and were trying to turn the spot into a cafe, both myself and my colleagues were surprised. How were they going to make it work in such a tiny place? The renovations took a while but they did it! and it is pretty darn nice. The staff are fantastic people, very kind.

I just popped in and grabbed a cold brew- was curious about trying their empanadas some other time! Great cafe and latin vibe to Chinatown.

Decor/actual restaurant: This particular location is very small and tight with limited in-store seating. The interior is cute, I like the blue color theme they have here. For a restaurant designed for to-go orders, I believe that there could be more waiting room and a couple less chairs. Service: Like many "fast food adjacent" restaurants, the people who work there have good customer service but I imagine deal with the worst. I know they're doing great with the situation they're in. Kudos to them. Food: this is probably my harshest critique. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich, and it was fine. I don't believe it was worth the $16 I spent though. The chicken was kind of bland, tasted similarly to frozen grilled chicken pieces you buy from a grocery store. I do wish there was more sauce. The pesto tasted good but overall there was too much bread. I fear you would be better off making something like this at home for a comparable price. The bread was good, just too much. I don't want to base the menu on this sandwich alone, a lot of the menu options sounded delicious, but this was just the experience I had!
