I came here to catch up and do some work with friends. I can't speak for the coffee here, but I had their seasonal plum drink with a splash of simple syrup - it was tart and somewhat watery (though healthy-tasting?). Certainly an unique (if pricey) menu offering, and not bad, but I think I'll get coffee next time. We grabbed a sizeable table with outlets and benches, but there are also seats in the back or outdoors areas, as well as a comfortable-looking street seating area. The whole shop was a nice place to do work - a real gem for SoHo! There's also wifi and a restroom. Overall, a good place to be productive and to hang out with people - would recommend. read more

This has been my go to spot for a very long time especially before heading to work. Today I think might have been my last day well at least with the food. The staff is extremely friendly, I will not take that away from them! I've never had an issue with the staff but today grossed me out when thankfully something told me to open my sandwich after taking one small bite in to which I found a very large that I would assume was a fly. Listen, I totally understand this can happen everywhere but definitely need to be more cautious with serving food and checking your items before serving. The ratio was a bit off for me as I felt like there was too much milk versus matcha. $6.50 for a matcha latte is not outrageous for Soho pricing. Also, I really appreciate the efforts Ground Support to keep sanitization and cleanliness above and beyond the standard. Came by end of October when 25% indoor dining was available. They limit the seatings and sanitize after each patron leaves. They also have you complete a contact info and take your temperature. They asked you to have your masks when you intend to get up from your seat. Also, they require you to ask to use the restroom because they sanitize between each and every use, which is amazing. Goes to show you how serious they are about their standards. Hand sanitizers are available on every table. read more

Today was a pleasant Saturday afternoon, surprising for December. We got there a little before 4pm and they were already closing up. We placed an order to go anyway and I decided to try their turmeric latte which I never get but it rolled off my tongue before I had a chance to reconsider. Again, how bad can it be? I've had a few turmeric lattes in my life and they've all been decent. Ground support showed me how bad a turmeric latte can be. It was like drinking hot paprika. Yes, you read that right. Paprika. Hot liquid paprika. We had left by then and quite far away from Ground Support for me to turn around and have them remake it for me. I'm pretty sure they have no idea what turmeric is. Or they think the American public won't know the difference between paprika and turmeric. Or maybe they just didn't care enough to make it decent since it was closing time. Cute spot in Soho with plenty of seating inside and people working. The prices are less cute. I paid $17 for a ham sandwich that I could eat in one seating. The sandwich itself was alright - the bread was a baguette material, which was pretty thick. There was a slim layer of prosciutto and then the vegetables. But definitely not worth the $17. read more

A few friends and I dropped by here on our way to the library and half debated staying to do some work. However at noon, this place was bustling and full of people, and we did not find any seats available, so we got everything to go. I got a small drip coffee which was $2.75 for about 8 oz. While the coffee tasted good, I find it very hard to justify the price for what it was. I also picked up a package of the earl grey shortbread cookies, which has two cookies for $6. They were crunchy and crumbs flew EVERYWHERE when I was trying to eat it. The earl grey flavor is strong, which I liked. However it was also very salty, which didn't jive as well with the tea flavor. All in all, a solid coffeeshop but feels a little too overpriced for what it offered. read more

Came in on a cold day to grab some hot green tea. Not sure which one I ordered but I believe they bag it themselves and it was the first choice on the menu when you walked in the door. The tea was delicious, however, it was busy in there and the seating area is already relatively small, so wasn't able to enjoy my tea in the shop. If you are looking for a grab-and-go place, it's quick and easy. They only had a small tea menu, and there were 3 green tea choices. Overall I would come here again if I was in a rush. Maybe they were having an off day when I visited, but I found the baristas slow and the internet shoddy. It was so shoddy as to not be available at all! When my friend went up to the counter to ask about the internet, we were told to move to the back of the cafe for better service (where there were no seats). The macchiato that I ordered was nice and strong, but it took about 15 minutes to prepare - I was watching the clock because I was due for an appointment but had ordered a macchiato to stay because I thought I would have at least 30-40 minutes to enjoy it as I studied. Unfortunately, I had to down my drink almost as soon as I got it because it took so long. I might give them another try if I'm in the area, but given the plenty of other options, this will be a hard sell. read more

There are a few long wooden tables, a few smaller tables for two, and a number of window/bar countertop spaces. There's plenty of light, and doors in the back area open to a small alley, giving a lot of fresh air and flow to the entire cafe. WiFi is free, but got really slow at times, perhaps because I was there at a popular hour. Still, it was frustrating having to load and reload on occasion, not really what I expect from cafe WiFi.
