I needed a coffee shop to do some work at and found this place after doing a quick Maps search. I was surprised by how busy and packed it was for 2 pm on a random Tuesday. I got an iced vanilla matcha latte that I really enjoyed! You could taste the vanilla and I didn't mind at all. I drank my matcha quite fast! All the tables are communal and picnic style. A lot of people were working but it eventually cleared out/became less crowded. The bathroom is in the back and is single stall and you have to step up and down. The sink is a little janky and there was barely any soap on the dispenser. I would come back again to get some work done since finding a table wasn't too bad. read more

The menu is short and well-rounded, with the usual espresso drinks plus breakfast and lunch options, and a handwritten fall specials board. I tried the cold brew ($5.25). It's served in a smaller cup than you might expect, but the taste is excellent: smooth, rich, and not at all watered down. Quality over quantity here. This coffee shop right in Soho is a great location. I wish the coffee tasted awesome like the awesome location. The person who took my order was fine. When I gave her my name and I even spelled it out for her she goes that is an interesting name. I didn't say anything as my name is normal so I was thinking did she misspell my name or something. Well turns out she did. When the people in the back called my name to let me know that it was ready they showed me what was typed out and have no idea how that name came to be. The two people in the back were nice and complimented me on my outfit. The lady upfront also I guess knew the customer infront of me and they were just chatting away like there was no one else waiting. It was an odd experience here and felt kinda run down and dirty. Not many seat options here. Not to mention that the iced latte I got omg I am not sure if the milk was stale or the coffee was burnt or what but I took one sip and decided nope not going to happen must throw out asap! I came here to catch up and do some work with friends. I can't speak for the coffee here, but I had their seasonal plum drink with a splash of simple syrup - it was tart and somewhat watery (though healthy-tasting?). Certainly an unique (if pricey) menu offering, and not bad, but I think I'll get coffee next time. We grabbed a sizeable table with outlets and benches, but there are also seats in the back or outdoors areas, as well as a comfortable-looking street seating area. This has been my go to spot for a very long time especially before heading to work. Today I think might have been my last day well at least with the food. The staff is extremely friendly, I will not take that away from them! I've never had an issue with the staff but today grossed me out when thankfully something told me to open my sandwich after taking one small bite in to which I found a very large that I would assume was a fly. The ratio was a bit off for me as I felt like there was too much milk versus matcha. $6.50 for a matcha latte is not outrageous for Soho pricing. Also, I really appreciate the efforts Ground Support to keep sanitization and cleanliness above and beyond the standard. Came by end of October when 25% indoor dining was available. They limit the seatings and sanitize after each patron leaves. They also have you complete a contact info and take your temperature. They asked you to have your masks when you intend to get up from your seat. Also, they require you to ask to use the restroom because they sanitize between each and every use, which is amazing. Goes to show you how serious they are about their standards. Hand sanitizers are available on every table. read more

Today was a pleasant Saturday afternoon, surprising for December. We got there a little before 4pm and they were already closing up. We placed an order to go anyway and I decided to try their turmeric latte which I never get but it rolled off my tongue before I had a chance to reconsider. Again, how bad can it be? I've had a few turmeric lattes in my life and they've all been decent. Ground support showed me how bad a turmeric latte can be. It was like drinking hot paprika. Yes, you read that right. Paprika. Hot liquid paprika. We had left by then and quite far away from Ground Support for me to turn around and have them remake it for me. I'm pretty sure they have no idea what turmeric is. Or they think the American public won't know the difference between paprika and turmeric. Or maybe they just didn't care enough to make it decent since it was closing time. A few friends and I dropped by here on our way to the library and half debated staying to do some work. However at noon, this place was bustling and full of people, and we did not find any seats available, so we got everything to go. I got a small drip coffee which was $2.75 for about 8 oz. While the coffee tasted good, I find it very hard to justify the price for what it was. I also picked up a package of the earl grey shortbread cookies, which has two cookies for $6. They were crunchy and crumbs flew EVERYWHERE when I was trying to eat it. The earl grey flavor is strong, which I liked. However it was also very salty, which didn't jive as well with the tea flavor. All in all, a solid coffeeshop but feels a little too overpriced for what it offered. read more

When my friend went up to the counter to ask about the internet, we were told to move to the back of the cafe for better service (where there were no seats). The macchiato that I ordered was nice and strong, but it took about 15 minutes to prepare - I was watching the clock because I was due for an appointment but had ordered a macchiato to stay because I thought I would have at least 30-40 minutes to enjoy it as I studied. Unfortunately, I had to down my drink almost as soon as I got it because it took so long.
