Chips, Salsa and Queso
Ali B.

Came here tonight after an event at fletcher park with my husband. I ordered takeout over the phone. It was ready right on time! Cute haha feel in here and it's clean, wasn't busy at all. I ordered the chips, salsa, and queso and a veggie burrito with no sour cream, with black beans and the mango salsa. The burrito was super bland. I don't think they use any spices on their beans or rice. All of the salsa was concentrated on one half of the burrito and I was a little disappointed that we paid extra for it, it was just ok. The chips and salsa were yummy, I had the red salsa. The queso is not bad, not the best I've had but velveeta-y type queso just isn't my fave. Good amount of food, I had plenty of chips left over with salsa and queso. Don't think I'd come again though!

Baja tacos with chips and salsa. Yes that's mango salsa, yes that's sauce is amazing.

LISTEN. You always hear about these awesome taco places hiding in plain sight... this is one of them. A friend asked me to meet her for lunch, driven by countless times and never knew this wonderful gem of a place was right here. I had the Baja fish tacos... and then got another order of them to go. Ain't no shame when ya find yourself a darn good taco. Made fresh, literally before my eyes, this delicious taco was so good I can't even describe it. Perfectly cooked fish, roasted corn tortilla, and the mango salsa?! Speak to meeeee! I can't event begin to express how much going here would be worth it to you, you just have to go try it. The Baja quesadilla came recommended by the staff, did I get it? I'd love to say yes, but ya girl had four tacos already... next time. And next time will be in the immediate future because this place? Fire. So good.

Love the tacos at Cafe Rumba. I've never ordered anything else there, but I just wanted to say that :)

Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.
